Romans 12:2 (UKJV) And do not be conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable, and perfect.

While I was meditating on this verse today, the word "by testing" touched me.

Many Christians pray that God's will should be fulfilled in their lives.

But how can you discern and

come to a conclusion about the will of God?

The word of God says "By testing". We have heard the words test and testing in schools and laboratories. In school, there is a teacher who tests the student's performance.

In the above verse Rom 12:2, our mind is the master who conducts the test.As a teacher handles a student, the mind should take every issue of a person's life, put it to the test and evaluate its worth.

To perform this action, the mind should have been accredited and qualified.As a teacher gets a proper education through courses like Teacher Training or B. Ed, to coach a student, a believer should train up his mind in 6 subjects.

This discipline will renew his mind and his whole being will be transformed.

Let us ponder on these 6 subjects.

LOVE.

Romans 12:9-10 (UKJV) Let love be without dissimulation. Detest that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectionate one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.

Sometimes the things the Lord commands us to do may sound foolish to our senses and eyes.

PATIENCE.

Tropical Storm Hilary unleashed furious flash floods east and west of Los Angeles on Sunday as the system made its historic arrival in California after barrelling through Mexico's Baja California peninsula with deadly force.

One person died in Mexico amid reports of flash flooding in the peninsula, where some roads were swept away and images on social media showed raging torrents gushing down city streets that had been turned into rivers, Reuters reported.

Taking Troop School & Troop Church Classes to every Constituency in the local language and at the end of 8^th class get them to make a personal covenant with God to start a fixed No. of Troop Churches. Before anointing let every student register their Troop Church in faith.
Finding 100 target soldiers who will start 10 Troop Churches in 60 days

100 valiant soldiers who will start 5 Troop Churches in 60 days

Start with the FC (Fullness of Christ Bible College) Soldiers

Motivating all the 4123 SMLAs who were appointed from October 30- Nov 14, 2020, to start 1 Troop Church each in their Constituencies.

For those SMLAs who are not active – replace them with the active soldiers of AOJ

Sol.Samsonpal.Iwc Chennai: The prophecy was fulfilled. The road in the area where our worship center is located was bumpy and potholed. Water stagnates in this area during the rainy season. There are three schools in this area. It is difficult for children to go to school during the rainy season. It hurt my heart to see this. Our worship center is located here. So, I said a prophecy; "Let a new road be laid here in the name of Jesus". A new road was laid within 12 days. Thank God.

Heavy rain and high-water levels on rivers in northeastern China were threatening cities downstream on August 4, prompting the evacuation of thousands, although the country appears to have averted the worst effects of the typhoon season battering parts of east Asia.

Hebei province surrounding the capital Beijing on three sides issued alerts for several of its cities. The province of Heilongjiang to the north, was evacuating entire villages in anticipation of life-threatening deluges.

Rescue work remains under way. At least 20 people have been reported killed in Beijing’s outer suburbs and another 27 were missing following the weekend storms that quickly overwhelmed drainage systems.

Beijing usually has dry summers, but had a stretch of record-breaking heat this year that broke dramatically over the weekend with almost a week of constant rain and drizzle. Power was knocked out in areas, public transport and summer classes were suspended and citizens of the metropolis of more than 20 million were told to stay home.

The nearby cities of Tianjin and Zhuozhou were also hit hard. Fire services aided by volunteer rescue groups searched apartment buildings and railway tunnels for stranded people, bringing hundreds to safety.

With its status as the nation's capital, the headquarters of the ruling Communist Party and home to cultural treasures such as the ancient Forbidden City, Beijing has provided special protection from flooding through the diversion of waters to neighbouring regions. That sparked complaints on social media, on Friday, of flooding in surrounding areas that could allegedly have been avoided if the rainwater had been flushed through the capital's system of canals and rivers.

Other regions, especially in China’s south, have suffered unusual deadly summer flooding. Other parts of the country are struggling with drought, putting further pressure on food supplies for the nation's 1.4 billion people already struggling with the disruption in grain shipments resulting from Russia's war against Ukraine.

Muddy water surging down streets washed away cars in the hilly Mentougou district on Beijing’s western edge. “A couple of cars parked behind my apartment building disappeared in just one minute,” said resident Liu Shuanbao.

“In Zhuozhou, southwest of Beijing, some 125,000 people from high-risk areas were moved to shelters,” Xinhua said.

President Xi Jinping issued an order for local governments to go “all out” to rescue those trapped and minimise loss of life and property damage.

The government of Tianjin, a port east of Beijing, said 35,000 people were evacuated from near the swollen Yongding River.

As much as 500 millimetres (almost 20 inches) of rain has fallen in some places since Saturday, according to the Hebei province weather agency. Some areas reported as much as 90 millimetres (3 1/2 inches) of rainfall per hour.

“Some 13 rivers exceeded warning levels in the Haihe Basin, which includes Beijing, Tianjin and Shijiazhuang,” Xinhua said, citing the Ministry of Water Resources.

“About 42,000 people were evacuated from areas of Shanxi province to Hebei’s west,” it reported, citing emergency officials.

In early July, at least 15 people were killed by floods in the southwestern region of Chongqing, and about 5,590 people in the far northwestern province of Liaoning had to be evacuated. In the central province of Hubei, rainstorms trapped residents in their vehicles and homes.

China’s deadliest and most destructive floods in recent history were in 1998, when 4,150 people died, most of them along the Yangtze River.

In 2021, more than 300 people died in flooding in the central province of Henan. Record rainfall inundated the provincial capital of Zhengzhou on July 20 that year, turning streets into rushing rivers and flooding at least part of a subway line, trapping passengers in the cars.

Meanwhile, in the eastern Shandong province, authorities also warned of flooding risks as water levels on the Zhangwei River continued to rise.

China was largely spared by Typhoon Khanun, which on Thursday lashed Japan, damaging homes and knocking out power on Okinawa and other islands. China’s National Meteorological Center had initially expected the typhoon to make landfall in the southeastern Zhejiang province, where local authorities called ships into port and halted passenger ferry services.

I will teach you in the way you shall go!

We see the Bible in various characters instructed and led by GOD.

Psalms 32:8 (UKJV) I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with mine eye.

This is the promise of God for his children. The way He instructs and teaches to go need not necessarily be a highway that is smooth and nice.

Mat 2:19 But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying, “Rise, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the child's life are dead.” And he rose and took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel.

For Joseph, the way shown would have been a footpath. He would have selected that path to rescue the life of the child Jesus.

Why this path was narrow? Because of the monitoring spirits that watch your steps and what you do, your activities, and your behavior, especially the words that you say. Monitoring spirits go and report it to their master satan. He then plans schemes to destroy what the Lord has planned for you.

Again, it is said about Joseph and his family,

Mat 2:22-23 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there, and being warned in a dream he withdrew to the district of Galilee. And he went and lived in a city called Nazareth, so that what was spoken by the prophets might be fulfilled, that he would be called a Nazarene.

Things might seem to happen naturally. Due to fear, they seemed to have gone to settle down in Galilee. Because they were scared. But it was in fulfilment of a prophecy.

Joseph understood properly the prophecies uttered over Jesus were being fulfilled.

In our life let’s ask God even if it’s a narrow path, he should instruct and show us the right way.

God can show us a narrow or hidden path when there is danger.

Isa 26:20 Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by.

The Lord asked the Church in India to hide and not to come to the public stage for 7 years 2014-2020! That was a safety measure to protect itself from public eyes during the time of persecution!

Whichever path the Lord shows will be the best way for us to go!

The Lord has shown us a way to go these days of Jubilee Celebration!

Praise the Lord! This is the testimony of one sister who attended Blessed troop church last week, for the first time. She has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder in the last 10 years and had all sorts of medical complications due to that. After attending troop church last week and being prayed for by troopers, she started experiencing the Lord's presence in her life like never before. The top court in a central Indian state has granted bail to seven Christians, including two pastors and a pregnant woman after they spent close to two months in jail for the alleged violation of the stringent anti-conversion law.

The Indore bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on Sept. 4 granted bail to Pastors Anil Chouhan and Suresh Dawar and five others, including 28-year-old Durga Mangilal who is pregnant.

“They were trapped in a totally false case,” Pastor Jayakar Kristi, who is following the case, told UCA News on Sept. 6.

The pastors visited a village in the state to conduct a meeting, but “it was dubbed as a case of religious conversion,” he observed.

“Their arrest and incarceration are totally in violation of the provisions of the anti-conversion law,” Kristi explained.

The pastors and other Christians moved the High Court after two lower courts rejected their bail applications, he added.

Advocate Umesh Manshore, who appeared for the Christians, told the court that under the Madhya Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act, the case has to be filed by the person who was being converted or by his/her close relatives.

“Whereas in this case, the case was filed by a stranger,” Manshore told the court.

Besides, police also failed to comply with the 2014 order of the Supreme Court, the top court in the country, that directed police to serve a notice to the accused if the maximum punishment is up to five years, Manshore said.

The High Court in its order said, “It is a fit case to grant bail to the applicants.”

The court, however, asked the Christians to furnish a personal bond of Rs.50,000 (US$607) each.

“This is a clear case of gross violation and misuse of the anti-conversion law,” said Daniel John, a Catholic leader based in Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh.

Police in Dewas district in Madhya Pradesh arrested the Christians on July 16 following a complaint from one Tukaram, who is identified by his first name, and five others.

They said the pastors and others were luring Hindus to become Christians, which is a crime under the state’s sweeping anti-conversion law.

They also accused the Christians of defaming Hindu gods like Lord Hanuman and sought action against them for violating the provisions of the Madhya Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act, 2021, popularly known as the anti-conversion law.

“The right-wing Hindu activists assaulted the pastors before handing them over to police,” Kristi said.

Since 2003, the pro-Hindu Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been heading the central Indian state, which goes to the polls this year.

In 2021, the pro-Hindu party tightened the more than five decades old anti-conversion law with provisions for imprisonment of up to 10 years and a fine.

Out of India’s 28 provincial states, Madhya Pradesh is among 11 states where a draconian anti-conversion law is in full force.

“The amended anti-conversion law has made the life of Christians miserable in the state,” Daniel John told UCA News on Sept. 6.

As per the amended law, “If a Christian offers food to a hungry person who happens to be Hindu, it can be interpreted as allurement and the poor Christian can end up in jail,” John said.

“Anybody lodges a complaint, Christians are arrested and put behind bars,” he added.

Assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh, along with Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Mizoram and Rajasthan states will take place in October and November this year.

Christians make up a mere 0.29 percent of more than 72 million people in Madhya Pradesh, where the majority 80 percent are Hindus.

WHAT CAUSED THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL IN 140 YEARS IN BEIJING AND NORTHERN CHINA?

Extreme rain battered Beijing, Tianjin and the province of Hebei in the wake of Typhoon Doksuri in late July, causing widespread flooding and damage in a region the size of Britain.

The storms, which have killed at least 20 people and led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of residents, were the worst to hit China in over a decade, with Beijing experiencing its heaviest rainfall in 140 years.
HOW SEVERE WAS THE RAINFALL?
The amount of rainfall since Saturday has breached many local meteorological records.
A reservoir in Beijing's Changping district logged a precipitation reading of 744.8mm (29.3 inches) between Saturday and Wednesday, the most in the city in over 140 years and far exceeding the previous record of 609mm set in 1891.

The persistent downpour prompted Beijing to use a flood storage reservoir for the first time since its establishment 25 years ago to divert floodwater.
In Hebei, one local weather station recorded 1,003mm of rain for a three-day period from Saturday to Monday, an amount normally seen over a year and a half.

HOW DID THE EXTREME RAIN HAPPEN?
Besides the remnants of Doksuri, warm and humid air-flows and water vapour brought by Typhoon Khanun slowly moving in the Western Pacific created the conditions for the heavy rains, according to Chinese meteorologists.
As the residual circulation of Doksuri's rain clouds headed north, a subtropical and continental high pressure system in the atmosphere also blocked their north and eastward passage, leading to the continuing convergence of water vapour that acted like a dam storing the water, the meteorologists say.

Topographic features in the area also contributed to the weather. As large amounts of vapour gathered in northern China, it was then lifted up by a low-altitude wind, shifting precipitation east of the Taihang mountain range, where the worst-hit areas - including Beijing's Fangshan and Mentougou districts - are located.

Meanwhile, a series of convective clouds gathered over the area, resulting in heavy rainfall for a protracted period of time, further exacerbating the damage and complicating rescue operations.

HOW DAMAGING WAS THE RAIN?
In the urban parts of Beijing, hundreds of roads were flooded, forcing parks and tourism spots to shut. Hundreds of flights were either delayed or cancelled at the city's two major airports. Some subway lines and trains were also suspended.
The impact was more pronounced in the city's western suburbs. In Mentougou and Fangshan districts, raging water coursed down roads, sweeping away cars. Villages in mountainous areas were cut off, prompting authorities to deploy helicopters to drop off food, water and emergency supplies.
Hebei's Zhuozhou, a city with more than 600,000 people to the southwest of Beijing, was half-submerged, with about 134,000 residents affected and one-sixth of the city's population evacuated.

HAVE SIMILAR WEATHER EVENTS HAPPENED IN THE PAST?
Rain with intensity seen in the latest event following weakened typhoons is unusual in Beijing and its surroundings. The Chinese capital has observed at least 12 incidences of significant rain brought by typhoons since authorities started keeping records, according to state media.
In 2017 and 2018, Typhoon Haitang and Ampil both dumped over 100mm of rain on Beijing. One of the most significant rain events was caused by Typhoon Wanda in 1956, which unleashed more than 400mm of precipitation in the densely populated city.

Romans 9:2-3 That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.

For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

Paul expresses his grief over his Israel brethren who are not saved.

He wants to be accursed from Christ for his brethren, his kinsmen.

Let’s ponder on the word “accursed from Christ”. Jesus Christ was accursed while on the cross at Calvary.

His final cry reveals it.

Mat_27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

Mat 27:50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit.

He died in the same accursed condition.

There are physical and spiritual conditions that people undergo in their lives.

I know one family, with a handicapped child which needs other’s help for everything. Their relatives considered this child as a curse to this family. But their parents took care of him and treated him with dignity just like their other children. There are many such families and individuals in the same or a little better situation today. In our society, we consider such children as cursed ones.

In Paul's language, he considers this as a ransom requirement for someone's salvation.

Let's check its biblical basis.

Isaiah 53:6-7 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep, before her shearers are dumb, so he opens not his mouth.

Isaiah 53:3 (UKJV) He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

We, all who looked at him considered him as a cursed man. "We esteemed him not".

Jesus had to suffer all this to save mankind. He had to undergo “this accursed from Father” stage for our salvation.

So when someone is in the same accursed (physical or spiritual) condition today, there can be rightful reasons to come to the conclusion that they are suffering for others’ sake.

If anyone comes to a wrong conclusion that he is cursed by God and hence treat them accordingly they will be accountable and answerable to God like Job’s friends.

Paul willingly commits himself to such an “accursed from Christ” condition if it will help in the salvation of his community (Jews). It can be a sickness, lack of anything like food, shelter or proper clothes, recognition in the society, shame, rejection, fear, mental agony or anything. The extreme of it can be “Accursed from Christ” that is, even forsaken by Jesus Christ!

May the Lord not allow any man living in this world such a condition.

KASHMIR IS BLEEDING. SO IS ITS ECONOMY

India’s steamrolling of democracy and constitutional provisions has not worked in improving the region’s security or economic allure.

On January 1, 2023, as the world celebrated the start of a new year, several families were mourning in the Rajouri district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir. Armed men stormed a village and killed four civilians, injuring six others. Two more civilians were killed the following day.

Just a few weeks earlier, on December 13, India’s Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai had presented investment data for Jammu and Kashmir. The numbers spoke for themselves: investments have fallen by 55 percent over the past four years.

Together, the killings and the declining investments contradict two central arguments that have been at the heart of the Indian government’s rationale for the 2019 abrogation of the semi-autonomous status that the region previously enjoyed: that the move would help improve security and spur economic development.

In the past, federal governments in New Delhi have often blamed Jammu and Kashmir’s woes on local governments in power in the region. That’s no longer an excuse that works.

When the Hindu nationalist government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi eliminated Article 370 of the Indian constitution — which gave Kashmir “special status” — it also carved out the territory of Ladakh from the region. Kashmir’s statehood was withdrawn, and it was made a union territory, directly controlled by New Delhi.

Jammu and Kashmir doesn’t even have the disempowered legislature that other union territories have — the region hasn’t had elections in seven years. Yet it should now increasingly be clear, if it wasn’t previously, that sidelining democratic processes and principles, and steamrolling constitutional provisions, aren’t working in improving the region’s security or economic allure.

Attacks on civilians have increased in the last few years and are increasingly being directed at non-resident Hindus and the minority Kashmiri Pandit community. A S Dulat, the former chief of the Research and Analysis Wing, India’s external intelligence agency, recently highlighted the sophistication of these attacks. The targeted killings, he said, demonstrated that the armed groups have a strong intelligence network and possibly have members within the government.

The abrogation of Article 370 allowed non-residents to buy and own land in Jammu and Kashmir for the first time. Critics of the region’s previous special status frequently cited restrictions on land ownership as a major reason why private sector industries were reluctant to set up businesses there.

However, data published by the Indian government’s Ministry of Home Affairs — and made public by Rai — calls a bluff on those claims. Total investment in 2021-22 in Jammu and Kashmir stood at $46m, down from $50.5m the previous year, and dramatically less than the $102.8m spent in 2017-18.

While the COVID-19 pandemic no doubt affected Kashmir’s economy, the statistics suggest that wasn’t the biggest factor in investments drying up. After all, the steepest fall in investments came the year that the Indian government ended Kashmir’s semi-autonomous status, before the pandemic, halving from $72.3m in 2018-19 to $36.3m in 2019-20.

Things aren’t much better on the security front. Although political protests have subsided because most pro-independence leaders have been imprisoned, armed groups appear to have changed their tactics.

At least 18 Kashmiri Pandits and non-resident Hindus have been killed in Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370.

As with the economy, the Indian government’s own data does not support claims that armed groups have been contained. The number of attacks by such groups was 229 in 2021, not significantly different from many previous years: There were 279 incidents in 2017, 322 in 2016, 208 in 2015, 222 in 2014 and 170 in 2013, the year before Modi came to power.

The Indian government had claimed that Article 370 restricted people’s participation in the political process and led to a few families dominating the politics of the region. However, since 2019, Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party has taken steps to further disempower local Kashmiris.

First, constituency boundaries for the region’s legislature were redrawn in a way that gives Hindu-majority Jammu a greater say in elections than its population, relative to Muslim-majority Kashmir’s, merits. In effect, that strengthens the chances of the BJP coming to power in Jammu and Kashmir.

Then a revision of the voter list was carried out, giving voting rights to outsiders. Jammu and Kashmir is home to hundreds of thousands of migrant workers and army personnel — if allowed to vote, their electoral influence is going to be significant.

Some Kashmiri leaders have invoked the region’s 1987 elections which were allegedly rigged and were considered a tipping point when the armed separatist movement in Kashmir took off.

Meanwhile, armed groups may continue to adopt attacks on non-local civilians as the mainstay of their strategy to signal their opposition to demographic changes attempted by New Delhi.

While Kashmiris and non-locals alike suffer, there is no reason to expect that Modi and his government will change their policy towards the region. The BJP’s hardline approach towards Kashmir helps it bolster its image in the rest of India as a party that is tough on “terrorism” and “separatism”.

The truth, of course, is more complicated. The BJP’s policies have led to increased insecurity for people living in the region — whether they’re Hindu or Muslim. And there has been no economic payoff, either.

Romans 8:27 (UKJV) And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, (o. pneuma) because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

One who searches the heart is the Holy Spirit. He makes every motive of the human heart subject to screening and exposes its intention.

For example, someone voluntarily come forward to donate food for 1000 people and it is made viral in the media.

All might speak highly about this man and the good deed he did. But the Holy Spirit searches his heart and will find the exact intention of his heart in supplying food. It can be one among the following:

He would try to make a name for him
To get votes in election
To help the starving
To convert black money into white money etc.

The Holy Spirit will screen all the above and put a tick against the real one. It will be recorded in heaven.

The one who searches human hearts is the Holy Spirit. He is the same Spirit who knows the mind of Jesus Christ also. The motive of His searching our heart is to check and bring it in line with the mind of Jesus Christ.

"He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God."

After searching the heart, the Holy Spirit prepares and publishes the check result which may expose any of its deviations from the will of God.

What is the Will of God?

Each person who is born on this earth has a destiny and a purpose which is written in the book of heaven. It comes to the earth through Prophecy.

Fulfilling this plan is the duty of each human being on the earth.

The Holy Spirit, if given freedom tries to align the motives of our heart with the perfect "Will of God". He also grants the grace to desire, cherish, execute the will of God in our lives. And it is said

"He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God."

The Holy Spirit intercedes for us so that we get the grace to co-operate with Him in fulfilling the will of God!

What amazing truths the Bible exposes!

Romans 8:26 (UKJV) Likewise the Spirit (o. pneuma) also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit (o. pneuma) itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered!

This is another added work of the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit knows that we are not even able to pray for us in the way we should. So He takes responsibility for that too.

What a privileged people we are!

We are not even aware of our real needs! We might be asking Abba Father for our portion of daily bread, fish and egg. But our spirits might be "in danger" which we may not be aware.

The Holy Spirit knowing the true condition of our spirits and what we are in need of urgently!

One sister was sharing with me her agony when her son was sick and in ICU. Since she was not allowed inside all the time, she used to beg to the nurses working inside and groan in prayer asking God to rescue him from death since doctors had forsaken him.

She could do it since she knew her son's condition.

Sometimes we may not even know our real condition. If we know we can pray hard to God to save us.

When we do not even realize our pitiable condition hence do not pray, He comes to our rescue and intercedes for us. He even 'groans' in His utter desperate condition to safeguard us. Let us thank the Holy Spirit for this marvellous help.

TROPICAL STORM HILARY UNLEASHES FLASH FLOODS IN CALIFORNIA

Tropical Storm Hilary unleashed furious flash floods east and west of Los Angeles on Sunday as the system made its historic arrival in California after barreling through Mexico's Baja California peninsula with deadly force.
One person died in Mexico amid reports of flash flooding in the peninsula, where some roads were swept away and images on social media showed raging torrents gushing down city streets that been turned into rivers.

California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency for much of Southern California, with flash flood warnings in effect until at least 3 a.m. (1000 GMT) on Monday in a region that is more accustomed to drought.

Mountain and desert areas could get 5 to 10 inches of (12 to 25 cm) rain, as much as the deserts typically see in a year, forecasters said.
The first tropical storm to pelt Los Angeles County since 1939 triggered serious flooding in the San Gabriel Mountains east of the city and coastal areas to the northwest in Ventura County.

San Bernardino County ordered evacuations of a number of towns in the mountains and valleys where social media images showed torrents of water, mud, rock, and trees.
In Wrightwood, California, about 70 miles (112 km) northeast of Los Angeles, the rain-washed trees and mud down a hill in Sheep Canyon. Further east in Oak Glen - one of five San Bernardino County towns under evacuation orders - gushing floodwater threw trees, mud, and rock into the air.
To the west in more populated Ventura County, the National Weather Service warned of life-threatening flooding where up to 2 inches (5 cm) of rain fell within two hours. The weather service reported cars stuck in the community of Spanish Hills, where it said firefighters conducted swift water rescues.
Newsom, on a tour of Southern California, said Palm Springs, a desert getaway in Riverside County about 100 miles (160 km) east of Los Angeles, was dry when he left on Sunday but an hour later it had received "the most significant rainfall over a 60-minute period any time in the history of Palm Springs." The streets were soon flooded.
"That's how quickly this system is moving. Take nothing for granted," Newsom told a news briefing in Los Angeles after he said he updated U.S. President Joe Biden, who ordered federal agencies to move personnel and supplies into the region.

The storm stunned people in the nearby town of Rancho Mirage, where water and debris rushed over closed roads and stranded at least one pickup truck that was stuck in water nearly to the top of its bed.
"It's quite amazing. I've never seen anything like this," said Sean Julian, 54, of Rancho Mirage. "I'm seeing a lot more trees down. And there's a big tree that just fell over there, and I probably shouldn't be out here."
DJ Hilton of neighboring Cathedral City said: "We've had storms before, but never anything quite this windy and rainy at the same time."

The Los Angeles Unified School District and San Diego Unified School District, the two largest school districts in the state, canceled classes for Monday. Dangerous surf pounded the beaches in Southern California.
Floodwaters raced through the concrete banks of the Los Angeles River, which normally contains barely a trickle. In Ocotillo, a desert town about 90 miles east of San Diego, rock slides brought boulders down on Interstate 8, causing traffic delays on the highway to Arizona.
Hilary made landfall earlier on Sunday in the northern part of Mexico's Baja California peninsula, where nearly 1,900 people were evacuated to shelters, according to the country's army.
The storm was especially dangerous in low-income areas where many homes fail to meet building codes.
"We've always been aware that it's a risky area. A lot of water runs (nearby) but what are we going to do? It's the only place we have to live," said Yolanda Contreras, living in a flood-prone area of Rosarito, about 15 miles south of the U.S.-Mexican border.

WHAT IS TROOP CHURCH?

“Evolution of Troop Church” Troop Church is absolutely different from House Church and both are contradictory in nature.

House Churches are half way homes towards Troop Church whereas Troop Church is the real Church of Jesus Christ. He moves and lives among His children in the Troop Church because there is no other authority, leader or king there except Jesus Christ. Those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal redeemer and king, come together in holiness, experience the presence of Jesus inside and among them. There is no pastor or Church head to lead them. The head of the house coordinates the meeting. Each member walks with and grows in Jesus Christ every day. All the members have equal chances to grow according to their gifts. There is no legalities or legal heads. All the members are bound by love and only by love. Everybody is free to leave or join at any time.

It is in the Troop Church that the Lord revealed His messages and warnings about India's future, Model Church Emergency declared for the Indian Church from 2010-2013, the 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd warning given to the institutional Churches, rejection of the Institutional Churches etc. It is guided by the Lord till today from the time it was instituted in this world, August 6, 2014.

Difference between House Churches and Troop Churches

Still one more stage to go! Do not be deceived

The real Church of early Christianity is the "Troop Church" – A unit of the Army of the Lord in this world, which fights with satan and all his activities.

Still the Church has to overcome one more bottleneck. There is the risk of believers misunderstanding the Troop Church as House Church.

All the House Churches are not Troop Churches. House Church, in fact, is the miniature or mini form of institutional church. House Churches are planted by the pastor here and there as a feeder for the main Church Institution. Extraction of money, slavery of believers, Pastors exercising authority over the subjects, and all the other negative effects of the Institutional Church remain the same in the house Church. In fact, it is a mini wing of the Institutional Church itself.

CLIMATE CHANGE IS FUELING DEADLY HEAT WAVES IN INDIA

Deadly heat waves fueled by climate change are threatening India’s development and risk reversing its progress on poverty alleviation, health, and economic growth, a new study has found.

Heat waves have already critically impacted the country, leading to power outages, increased dust and air pollution, and accelerated glacial melt in the north of India, researchers from the University of Cambridge said in the study published in the journal PLOS Climate on Wednesday.

Since 1992, more than 24,000 people have died because of heat waves in India, the study said.

And the impacts are expected to get worse as heat waves become more frequent, intense and lethal due to the climate crisis.

“India is currently facing a collision of multiple cumulative climate hazards,” said the researchers.

“Long-term projections indicate that Indian heat waves could cross the survivability limit for a healthy human resting in the shade by 2050.”

The study shows that millions more people in India are vulnerable to climate change than first thought. More than 90% of the country could be severely impacted by heat waves, falling into an extreme heat “danger” zone, according to the heat index, the study found.

The heat index is how hot it feels and considers both air temperature and humidity to assess the heat’s impact on the population.

Last year, India experienced a searing heat wave, during which parts of the country reached more than 49°C (120°F).

In 2022, India experienced its hottest April in 122 years and its hottest March on record, the study said. And it experienced extreme weather on 242 out of 273 days between January and October 2022, the researchers found.

Such repeated heat stress will upend millions of lives and livelihoods.

“Estimates show a 15% decrease in outdoor working capacity … during daylight hours due to extreme heat by 2050,” the study found. “The increased heat is expected to cost India 2.8% and 8.7% of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and depressed living standards by 2050 and 2100, respectively.”

By mid-century, 70 Indian cities are expected to have more than 1 million inhabitants, according to the study.

Extreme heat will pose a threat to the energy security and health of those people, and reverse progress in inequality and poverty reduction, the researchers found.

“My family in Kolkata is suffering from current heat waves leading to frequent load shedding,” said the author of the study, Dr. Ramit Debnath, in reference to enforced power outages that reduce strain on the grid. “The climate-energy nexus is becoming more relevant,” he added.

Typically, it’s the poorest and most vulnerable who will suffer the most.

Heat waves will “have unprecedented consequences on the low-income population,” the study said. As an example, the authors point to the rapidly urbanizing capital New Delhi, which “has a high level of construction activities, mostly involving a low-income labor force, who are also at severe risk from heat wave impacts.”

While India has a “climate vulnerability index” through which it assesses its vulnerability to the climate crisis, the authors believe these underestimates how heat waves impact the country’s development.

India has committed to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, a list of 17 objectives that include cutting poverty, hunger, inequality, and disease, as well as promoting health, education, and sanitation.

By not understanding the true threat of heat waves on its population, India risks missing out on those goals.

The study’s co-author Professor Ronita Bardhan said the recommendations could be used to build heat resilience for low-income housing as “these communities are most vulnerable to heat impacts.”

“Heat-health packages for low-income and slum dwellers are specifically critical as we show heat waves have devastating impacts on urban sustainability,” she said.

Another practical application is urban greening strategies around highly dense areas, which “can provide relief from urban heat island effects,” Bardhan said.

The authors stress “urgency” in recommending India update its extreme weather assessment to include the heat index and its impact on India’s sustainable development.

“India has demonstrated tremendous leadership in scaling up heat action plans in the last five years by declaring heat waves a natural disaster and mobilizing appropriate relief resources,” the authors said.

But “as the heat waves in India and the Indian subcontinent become recurrent and long-lasting, it is high time that climate experts and policymakers reevaluate the metrics for assessing the country’s climate vulnerability.”

What is the sin of the Church today under the death penalty?

1Sa 12:19 And all the people said to Samuel, pray for your servants to Jehovah your God so that we will not die. For we have added evil to all our sins, to ask a king for us.

Asking for a King and being ruled by a King other than Jesus Christ is the major sin we see inside the Church today.

Knowingly or unknowingly most of the Christians are ruled by these “worldly kings and powers” which have intruded into the Church today. They have established their own royal kingdom, formal or informal, their own security with worldly wealth and properties. Believers blindly follow them, surrender themselves to be under their command and custody just like they did during the reign of kings. This is sin.

1Sa 12:20 And Samuel said to the people, …………. You have done all this wickedness

What is the role of the people of God in this "Church"

The people of God are kept like slaves under these kings. They are made to serve these worldly kings. They are known by various names as, Pastor, Bishop, Pope, Patriarch etc. The sheep do not know any other King other than the above. These heads call themselves "vicars & representatives” of Jesus Christ!

The poor sheep are not able to hear or distinguish their real shepherd's voice because of the loud preaching and teachings given in the institutional churches.

The power of the real Church!

In the present situation when all the religions, priests, bishops, pope, pastors have closed down their worship places and Sunday Service centers, the sheep is left with no choice other than calling upon the name of Jesus, sitting at homes. Today, on 22.3.2020 lakhs of Troop Churches have emerged on the earth! The seeds of Troop Churches were being sown 23 years ago! They have sprouted up, started bearing fruits! Troop Churches have overgrown the institutional churches and swallowed them up! That is the power of the real Church!

Just like the king Constantine made a declaration to change his kingdom into a Christian Empire, today the public declaration to conduct "Troop Churches" was made by our Prime Minister and all the churches are obliged to conduct worship in their houses with 10 members without any complaint and murmuring!

2020 have seen this revival. Our task is accomplished. Glory to God.

All the pastors, bishops, priests and institutional heads have suddenly changed their voice and started promoting "House Churches".

PEOPLE SEEN PANIC-BUYING RICE AS STORES RUN OUT IN US AFTER INDIA ANNOUNCES EXPORT BAN

The announcement of the ban on rice exports by the Indian government has reportedly caused a frenzy among Non-Resident Indians

Several videos and images of people in the US panic-buying rice emerged after India announced an export ban on the Asian staple.

In videos widely shared on social media, people could be seen with their grocery carts just full of rice bags. People were also seen climbing up the grocery store shelves to reach for rice bags.

One Twitter user shared a video in which people were seen scrambling and elbowing each other for rice bags and wrote: “I came to know from workers in Indian groceries, Costco has stocks but they [are] afraid of Indians climbing racks to snatching #rice bags, may fell over other customers and get hurt. This is very shameful. Below is from Indian groceries.”

“I visited almost 10 plus stores. I started looking for a bag of Sona Massori [a variety of rice] at 9 am and it wasn’t until 4.00 pm that I could finally lay my hands on a bag of rice at triple its usual price,” one Indian-American named Aruna from Washington DC was quoted as saying by ANI.

The announcement of the ban on rice exports by the Indian government has caused a frenzy among Non-Resident Indians [NRIs] who are now rushing to secure their supply of this essential ingredient in Indian cuisine.

Videos circulating on social media depict people scrambling to grab the last available rice bags at large stores as they seek to stock up on the staple food.

Last week, Indian prime minister Narendra Modi banned the export of non-basmati white rice to stabilize domestic prices ahead of key national elections next year following difficult harvests.

God spoke through Hosea His mind

Hos 13:11 I gave you a king in My anger, and took him away in My wrath.

After keeping silence for centuries in the history, the Lord opened a new chapter in human history and started His work again. He sent His own Son Jesus Christ to the earth. He brought the message of the love of God, the Father towards His children, the human beings on the earth.

But by the time the enemy, satan had already converted the chosen Israel into a "religion" like any other religion on earth, having their own rituals, feasts, priests, festivals, worldly influence and authority. When Jesus appeared on this earth, God sent Him to His own people. But this set up was not ready to accept Jesus or His kingship. He knew that He will have to pay His life as a price to redeem the children of God from the clutches of religion and Jesus voluntarily committed Himself to be the "perfect sacrifice", a pleasing sacrifice offered on the altar of God.

After the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, He set up a new invisible Kingdom on earth with Jesus as the King the chosen generation and a

A new set of priests, those who accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour,

A Holy Nation and a people for God's possession

So that we might speak of the praises of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Pet 2:9

What a privilege! What a blessed people we are!

But only for 300 years this blessing lasted on the earth. The real Church which was a gathering in houses became a royal religion during the time of King Constantine, the Roman Emperor. after accepting Jesus halfheartedly, mixed Christianity with the pomp of earthly kingship and pagan practices. Constantine made Christianity the top-ranking religion in the world and it remained so till Reformation, i.e.1500 A.D.

Through His servant Martin Luther, the Lord exposed the futility of the “Religion Christianity” to the world and brought Bible to the limelight.

Now we are living in the 21^st Century. The last 6 centuries have witnessed great revivals, like Reformation, Roman Catholic Church splitting into many divisions, Asuza Revival, starting of Pentecostal Churches etc.

The past 500 years (1500-2000 A.D.) of warfare of the real Church of Jesus Christ with its rival, the pompous worldly religion called "Christianity" took different shapes. Down through the years, in all the seasons, the Lord raised many prophets and martyrs like John the Baptist who paid the price for it.

But the Heavenly Father has proved His Word to be true.

Mat 16:18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Throughout the ages, the remnant of Yahweh (the Church of Jesus Christ) has been suppressed, crushed, tested hard by the powers of the "world". The "world" has been pressurizing the Church of Jesus Christ to get an entry into it. The 20^th century saw many divisions inside the Church. In between a few “worldly kings” and Kingdoms found entry into it. But the Holy Spirit separated His Church away from it and kept it pure. Even now, in the 21^st century, many are competing to sit on the thrones of the kingdoms which the “Institutional Church” has made for them.

We made an appeal in the heavenly court for the improvement of the schools and the education system in Tamilnadu. The Tamilnadu Govt. has taken a strict action against the schools which are illegally opened without proper permission. A lot of awareness camps were conducted by the Govt. in various schools about children education and safety. The MLAs of the districts have been directly visiting the schools to note the further improvements and to collect the issues directly from the children. 7 DISASTERS IN THE AMERICAS IN 2023 THAT YOU MAY NOT HAVE HEARD ABOUT

The Americas region alone has faced many small and medium-sized disasters so far this year. Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies across the region have been there – right by the side of communities.

1. Chile - forest fires:

In February 2023, strong winds and high temperatures caused dozens of forest fires across central and southern Chile, leading to casualties and widespread damage. They followed earlier, destructive forest fires in December 2022 that spread rapidly around the city of Viña del Mar.

With DREF funding, the Chilean Red Cross provided support to more than 5,000 people affected by the fires over the following months. Staff and volunteer teams provided medical support to communities and distributed cash so that people could buy the things they needed to recover.

2. Uruguay - drought:

Uruguay is currently experiencing widespread drought due to a lack of rainfall since September 2022 and increasingly high temperatures in the summer seasons—prompting the Uruguayan government to declare a state of emergency.

The government officially requested the support of the Uruguayan Red Cross to conduct a needs assessment of the drought, so it could understand how it was impacting people and agricultural industries.

With funding from the DREF, Uruguayan Red Cross teams headed out into the most-affected areas to speak to more than 1,300 families about the drought’s impact on their health, livelihoods and access to water.

Their findings are helping the government to make better-informed decisions on how to address the drought, taking into account the real needs of those affected.

This is the first time DREF funding has been used to support a damage assessment in this way.

3. Paraguay - floods:

In February and March 2023, heavy rains in northern Paraguay caused severe flooding—forcing many families to abandon their homes and paralyzing key infrastructure and industries.

The Paraguayan Red Cross responded, providing first aid and psychosocial support to people in temporary shelters. Volunteers also shared information with communities on how to protect themselves from water-borne diseases and from the increase in mosquitoes.

4. Ecuador - floods, earthquakes, and landslides:

In the first quarter of 2023, Ecuador was struck by several, simultaneous disasters—floods, landslides, building collapses, hailstorms and an earthquake—that put the Ecuadorian Red Cross to the test.

Their volunteers deployed quickly provided wide-ranging support to people affected--including shelter, health care, water, sanitation and cash assistance. They also conducted surveys to understand exactly how people had been affected, and what they most needed to recover.

5. Argentina - floods:

In June, heavy rains caused flash flooding in the municipality of Quilmes, Buenos Aires, affecting an estimated 4,000 families. The flooding caused power outages, road closures and a contamination of water supplies—prompting the local authorities to request the support of the Argentine Red Cross.

Volunteer teams quickly mobilized to provide first aid and psychosocial support to people who had moved to evacuation centres in the area.

In the coming weeks and months, the Argentine Red Cross – with DREF funding – will provide shelter, health, water, sanitation, and hygiene support to 500 of the most vulnerable families affected by the floods.

6. Haiti floods:

Flash floods also struck Haiti in early June following an exceptionally heavy rainstorm that swept the entire country. Though not classified as a cyclone or tropical downpour, the rainstorm nonetheless affected thousands of families, claimed more than 50 lives and submerged entire houses.

The Haitian Red Cross quickly deployed rescue workers to provide first aid and assist with evacuations. Working alongside Movement partners, and with DREF support, they’ve also been distributing mattresses, shovels, rakes, hygiene kits, water treatment kits and plastic sheeting.

In a country already experiencing a cholera epidemic, Haitian Red Cross volunteers continue to share important information with communities about how to stay healthy and adopt good hygiene practices—especially important due to the increased risk from flood waters.

7. Dominican Republic - floods:

This same rainstorm in Haiti also affected communities across the border in the Dominican Republic, causing flash flooding in the country’s west.

The Dominican Red Cross has been providing humanitarian assistance in the form of search and rescue, evacuation, health and hygiene services, psychological first aid, and restoring family links (RFL) services.

Why being under a king is sin?

Nimrod is the first king and leader of humanity the bible in Gen, 10: 8-10 speaks about Nimrod as a mighty man and about his kingdom. Therefore

Through him, kingship, kingdom and religion entered into the earth. Through religion, idol worship came into existence. Tammuz, Nimrod's son was the first idol, ever made on earth. (Eze 8:14) Along with that, idols of kings, queens, man, woman, animals, birds, reptiles, etc. every living and non living thing became the objects of worship.

When God decided to call out a new generation on earth through Abraham, He named them "My People". Hence till day, they were called "The People of God". The Lord expected them to accept Him as their God and King, and never to be yoked under any earthly kings. But when they demanded an earthly king to rule over them, during the time of Samuel, they displeased the Lord.

The Lord was forced to grant their request and asked them to select their king. They selected Saul to be their first king. The Lord sent prophet Samuel to anoint him. Though it was not His will,the Lord did it under pressure.

Saul established his kingdom on earth. David and his successors ruled over it. During the time of Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, the kingdom was split into two. Judah and Samaria. Many kings ruled over both the divisions. But no king in the history of Israel or Judah served the purpose of their appointment. None of them turned his heart hundred percent toward God. Rather the kings became a burden and liability upon the people.

Even before the people decided to choose a king, Samuel had already conveyed the Lord's warnings to them in the following way.

1 Sa 8:11-18 And he said, This will be the privilege of the king who shall reign over you. He shall take your sons and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and his horsemen. And they shall run before his chariots. And he will appoint commanders over thousands, and commanders over fifties, and some to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and make his weapons of war and weapons for his chariots. And he will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. And he will take your fields and your vineyards and your olive-yards, the best, and give them to his servants. And he will take the tenth of your seed and of your vineyards, and give it to his eunuchs and to his servants. And he will take your male slaves and your slave girls, and your finest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. He will take the tenth of your sheep, and you shall be his servants. And you shall cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, and Jehovah will not answer you in that day.

But the people chose to renounce the sovereign kingship of the Lord over them and decided to have a human king.

1Sa 8:19, 20 But the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel. And they said, No, but we will have a king over us. And we shall be, also we, like all the nations, so that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.

The kingdom of Israel and the Old Testament ended with the kings.

Rain may worsen Delhi flood woes, more showers for Himachal: Top weather updates

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday issued rainfall alert for multiple states.The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday issued rainfall alerts for various states in the coming five days. These included flood-wrecked Himachal Pradesh and Delhi, many districts of Maharashtra, as well as states like Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Rajasthan, which are set to receive different intensities of rainfall.

Delhi, which is facing a flood-like situation due to rising level of the Yamuna river, received light rainfall today as well, adding to the woes of the people as several key areas remained inundated. Laxmi Nagar, Lutyens' Delhi were some areas which witnessed a drizzle in the afternoon. Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh, extensively damaged due to flash floods and landslides over the past few days, will also continue to receive isolated heavy rainfall during the next five days, IMD said.

Here's the full weather forecast by IMD:

1)The national capital, its adjoining areas and Haryana are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall for the next 5 days, the weather body said. “We are expecting a slight increase in rainfall on July 17 and 18,” Soma Sen Roy, IMD scientist was quoted as saying by ANI.

2)IMD also issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for several districts of Maharashtra starting today. A ‘Yellow’ alert was marked for Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigarh, Ratnagiri, Sindhugarg, Dhule for today. Of these, Mumbai, Thane and Palghar will see ‘moderate’ rainfall tomorrow but Thane will be on ‘Yellow’ alert thereafter till July 18. IMD also put Mumbai ‘Yellow’ alert again on 17-18 July, as ‘heavy rainfall’ is expected there while the same for Palghar will be seen only on July 18. Separately, Sindhudurg will continue to be on a ‘Yellow’ alert till July 18; Raigad and Ratnagiri are on ‘Orange’ alert on July 17-18.

3)Other than Himachal, isolated 'heavy' rainfall will occur in Rajasthan over the next five days. Meanwhile, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh have been predicted to receive isolated ‘heavy’ to 'very heavy' rainfall during the same period.

4)IMD also said that while west Madhya Pradesh will get isolated heavy rainfall during the next five days, the rainfall activity will increase across eastern Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha and Goa from July 17 onwards.

5)Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim will experience 'fairly widespread, heavy to very heavy' rainfall till July 17.

6)'Heavy' rainfall is likely to occur over Bihar on July 17, while in Jharkhand, the same will be seen from July 15-17, IMD said.

7)Northeastern states namely Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam and Meghalaya are projected to receive ‘heavy’ rainfall during the next four days; while Arunachal Pradesh will get heavy rains till July 16.

8)Gujarat is predicted to get ‘heavy’ to ‘very heavy’ rainfall over isolated pockets on July 18.

9)Coastal Karnataka is expected to have isolated heavy rainfall till July 18. There may also be isolated instances of heavy to very heavy rainfall in Telangana, Kerala, and Maharashtra on July 18.
