Glorify God in body

I was travelling with a godly man of some religion in train. I felt a little uneasy when he first sat near me. His clothing, his behaviour showed that he is very simple and open minded.

"For you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body". 1Co 6:20

How can we glorify God in our body. My appearance, my hair, my face, my dress code, my steps, my eyes, eye brows, looks, ears, facial expression, posture of my body, signs I express with my body, (waving hand, nodding head) the emotions I express on my face, messages I pass on with my eyes, fingers, face, the cosmetics I use, the sandals I wear, the wallet I select, everything should glorify the Lord.

Certain Religions even, certain sects of Christianity have created an attitude among the people that, if you have to be pleasing to God, you have to roam around in shabby clothes or wear a particular kind of dress. They think that pleasing God is in the externals like dress, the place you stay, the job you select etc. Let us look at the example of Esther. She was given the responsibility of saving her people. The talent she received from God for this purpose was her “beauty”. When Mordecai told her about the situation her people were facing within, she took away her queenly clothes, abstained from food and everything that is royal. She stood in the presence of the Lord in order to get a strategy to save the people. Mordecai instructed her what to do. After fasting for 3 days, she came up in her queenly attire and authority, went to the king and achieved the desired end. The strategy of glorifying God in every situation is to be received from heaven. It should not be imitated nor programmed or copied from some organization and not even received from godly men or women. It should be received from God, then and there.

Glorifying God comes from one’s submission that comes from the proclamation of the Gospel. Those who do not share the Gospel cannot glorify God. That is why AOJ soldier is given a rule of sharing the Gospel daily to 2 persons.

Midwest Apocalypse: 1 Million Acres Of U.S. Farmland Devastated By Floods

We have never seen anything like this before. According to satellite data that was just released by Reuters, "at least 1 million acres of U.S. farmland" were covered by water for at least seven days this month. That is an agricultural disaster without equal in modern American history, and yet the mainstream media is treating this like it is some sort of second class story. It isn't.

This is the biggest news story of 2019 so far, and people want to know what is going on. A few days ago, I posted a story entitled '"As Many As A Million Calves Lost In Nebraska" - Beef Prices In The U.S. To Escalate Dramatically In The Coming Months', and it has already been shared on social media more than 145,000 times. Farming communities all over the central part of the nation now look like war zones as a result of all this flooding, but the media elites on the east and west coasts don't want to write about it. And with more flooding on the way for the next two months, this crisis is only going to get worse. This is the time of year when farmers are gearing up to plant wheat, corn and soybeans, and now a substantial portion of our farmland will not be able to be used at all this year. According to Reuters, at least a million acres of farmland were covered by floodwaters for at least seven days this month, and that "will likely reduce corn, wheat and soy production this year"...

At least 1 million acres (405,000 hectares) of U.S. farmland were flooded after the "bomb cyclone" storm left wide swaths of nine major grain producing states under water this month, satellite data analyzed by Gro Intelligence for Reuters showed. Farms from the Dakotas to Missouri and beyond have been under water for a week or more, possibly impeding planting and damaging soil. The floods, which came just weeks before planting season starts in the Midwest, will likely reduce corn, wheat and soy production this year.

And with "as many as a million calves" lost to the flooding, a lot less food than anticipated is going to be produced in the United States for the foreseeable future. Between March 8th and March 21st, almost 1.1 million acres of cropland and over 84,000 acres of pastureland were covered by water for at least a week. With more rain on the way, it is essentially going to be impossible for most of those acres to be usable this year.

In Iowa, 474,271 acres were covered by floodwaters for at least seven days in March, and Iowa farmers are facing some very tough deadlines. Corn must be planted by May 31st and soybeans must be planted by June 15th in order to qualify for flood insurance. For most Iowa farms that were covered by floodwaters, that is going to be impossible. Overall, the recent flooding caused "at least $3 billion" in economic damage according to authorities, but many believe that the final number will be far higher.

Thousands upon thousands of farms have been completely destroyed, and thousands upon thousands of farmers will not plant any crops at all this year.

In addition to the vast agricultural devastation that we have witnessed, thousands upon thousands of homes have been destroyed as well, and now the National Ground Water Association is warning that "the safety of more than a million private water wells" could be compromised...

Record flooding in the Midwest is now threatening the safety of more than a million private water wells. The National Ground Water Association estimates that people living in more than 300 counties across 10 states have their groundwater threatened from bacterial and industrial contamination carried by flood waters. If you live in the middle of the country and there is a chance that your well may have been compromised, please don't take any unnecessary chances. Contaminated water can be really, really bad news.

Unfortunately, this is just the beginning. According to the NOAA, we are entering an "unprecedented flood season" that could potentially "impact an even bigger area of cropland"... Spring floods could yet impact an even bigger area of cropland. The U.S. government's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has warned of what could be an "unprecedented flood season" as it forecasts heavy spring rains. Rivers may swell further as a deep snow pack in northern growing areas melts.

In my previous article entitled '"200 Million People At Risk: National Weather Service Warns Apocalyptic Midwest Floods Are "A Preview Of What We Expect Throughout The Rest Of The Spring"', I included a map from the NOAA which shows which areas of the central part of the country are projected to receive unusually high levels of rainfall over the next few months.

Unfortunately, there is a tremendous amount of overlap with areas that have already been devastated by flooding. On Friday and Saturday, there will be "more heavy rains" in the Midwest, and Nebraska is in "the direct path" of the center of the storm... From the Central Plains to the Midwest, it has been a disastrous spring for river flooding. A weather system slated to bring more heavy rains Friday into Saturday could aggravate the situation along and near the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. It's a one-two punch that combines additional rainwater with fresh runoff from snowmelt. Perhaps worst off is Nebraska, in the direct path of Friday's quick burst of moisture. Barely a week has passed since Gov. Pete Ricketts estimated the cost of ongoing flooding in that state at more than $1 billion. This is it. America is being hammered by one storm after another, and I very much encourage you to get prepared for a very rough ride ahead.

There is going to be a lot more flooding. Prices for beef, dairy, wheat, corn and soy products are going to rise significantly, and just when you think they are way too high they are going to keep on rising. This is already the worst agricultural disaster in modern American history, and federal authorities are telling us that we should expect things to continue to get worse for at least two more months.

Police in India File Charges against Pastors for Refuting False Account of Attack, Sources Say

HYDERABAD, India, March 22, 2019 (Morning Star News) – Three pastors in western India have been criminally charged in retaliation for refuting a false account of a Hindu extremist attack on six Christians that left a teenage girl unconscious, sources said.

Three of the six Christians beaten in Maharashtra state this month were also charged in retaliation for reporting the assault that left them with injuries requiring hospital treatment, said pastor Pandharinath Bhagya Gowri, one of the accused church leaders.

Police who took exception to Pastor Gowri and two other pastors trying to correct a false report about the beating later charged them with the same accusations filed against the assailants, such as house trespass with intent to assault, even though the church leaders were not even present during the attack, he said.

Hard-line Hindus in Bandhan village, Palghar District in February had cut the Christians’ water supply and warned them that worse would happen if they did not renounce their faith, Pastor Gowri told Morning Star News. On March 1 a mob of Hindu extremists showed up in the neighborhood of three Christian families, burst into their homes and started beating and kicking them, he said.

“At least six Christians including women and children got injured in the attack,” Gowri told Morning Star News.

Teenage Christian Sapna Dodhade was beaten unconscious, and the Hindu extremists continued striking her and the five others even after they fell limp, the pastor said.

“The young Christian could not take their beating, she fell unconscious,” he said, adding that a team of local pastors rushed to Bandhan that day to bring the injured to a hospital in a nearby town. “Her condition was serious. While she was getting treated at the government hospital in Palghar along with other injured Christians, police officers came to record the victims’ statements.”

As the victims told Inspector Shidava Jaybhave about the ordeal they had suffered for attending church services at a neighboring village, another officer accompanying her “interrupted the victims, and he began narrating his own version of events,” Pastor Gowri said.

“It was totally a false narrative, and he was misguiding officer Jaybhave by telling lies,” he told Morning Star News. “I informed her, ‘Madam, the constable is trying to divert the matter,’ but she shouted at me and asked me to shut my mouth.”

Pastors Sainath Ambo Rawate and Navashu Mangalya Jadhav joined him in telling her that Christians had been beaten severely enough to be hospitalized and that the matter should not be taken lightly, but she refused to listen and threatened to file charges against them, he said.

“We told her, ‘Had police booked cases and taken action against villagers who were harassing Christians, this day would not have come,’” Pastor Gowri told Morning Star News. “But this went wrong with her. It must have chafed her ego that ‘illiterate villagers’ were questioning the police.”

On March 3, pastors received a phone call from police informing them that Inspector Jaybhave had summoned them to Manora police station, he said. There the three pastors discovered that a counter case had been filed against them and three of the victims of the attack on the same charges filed against the Hindu extremists: House trespass with intent to cause assault, unlawful assembly, rioting and criminal intimidation.

“After a few moments passed by, she told us that we are in her custody and cannot go from there unless we furnished the bail procedure by paying some amount,” he said. “We were not even present at the site of attack, and the victims are helpless, bedridden because of the assault, but police booked us.”

With the help of an attorney, the pastors were released on bail after spending the day in custody.

Inspector Jaybhave was not available for comment, and officer Avinash Dakre of the Manor police station claimed that she “has no role in this.”
Dakre told Morning Star News that Pastor Jadhav was arrested because the Christians’ opponents told him that he visits the village often, “hence we suspect his involvement in this matter.”

Asked the basis for arresting and charging the pastors in the Bandhan attack, Dakre said, “That is not an issue; if they are not involved, I will consider striking down the charges before filing the charge sheet.”

He declined to comment on Hindu extremist targeting of Christians for holding worship services, saying he was only recently posted to the police station and that the investigation was ongoing.

Pastor Gowri said area Christians had been facing harassment for three months prior to the March 1 attack, leading them to file three police complaints. Police registered First Information Reports (FIRs) but failed to name the accused and closed the cases without investigating, he said.

As opposition to Christian worship rose, Mahima Dumada had filed a police complaint on Feb. 11, and police registered cases charging hard-line Hindu villagers with insults to provoke breach of peace and criminal intimidation, he said. In retaliation, the villagers cut the supply of water to Christian families.

“By March 1, it was already three days since the water pipeline was disconnected,” Pastor Gowri said. “They threatened the Christians, warning them to stop attending the church and renounce Christianity if they wanted the water supply back, or face the consequences.”

Another Attack

On Feb. 24, members of the Hindu extremist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) stormed into a house church in Gadgapara village, also in Palghar District, where at least 30 Christians were gathered for Sunday worship. They disrupted Holy Communion and assaulted the Christians, including women and children, sources said.

The Maharashtra unit of legal advocacy group Alliance Defending Freedom-India brought the matter before the area police inspector, identified only as Ganshyam, and the harassment stopped.

Following complaints to Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh, officers at Virar East police station filed cases against assailants for unlawful assemblies, rioting, voluntarily causing hurt, insult intended to provoke breach of peace and criminal intimidation.

ADF-India recorded five incidents of hostilities against Christians from Maharashtra in the first quarter of 2019, including an attack on a catholic institution in Kolhapur District. There has been a significant rise in attacks against Christians in Maharashtra since 2014, according to Baban Kamble, a Christian leader and human rights defender from Maharashtra.

“Particularly in Palghar District, we have seen the highest number of attacks,” Kamble said. “Every next week, there have been mob attacks on churches. In Manor and Virar areas of the district, churches have long been shut after they came under the attack of Hindu extremist mobs.”

Life-threatening attacks have taken place such as one in Kowad, and cases have been filed and the accused brought to court, “but the real faces who are behind these attacks have not been exposed yet,” Kamble said.

“Recently, a Christian’s leg had to be amputated after he was brutally attacked by Hindutva [Hindu nationalist] activists,” Kamble said. “We are in the mission of building a pack of young Christian volunteers who can reach out to the victims in cases of persecution. We need to be prepared to deal with incidents of violence and discrimination against

Christians and must raise our voice through peaceful protests, and also before the parliament and legislative assemblies of the states.”

India is ranked 10^th on Christian support organization Open Doors’ 2019 World Watch List of the countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian. The country was 31st in 2013, but its position has been worse each year since Narendra Modi of the Bharatiya Janata Party came to power in 2014.

China Shuts Down, Changes Locks on 1,000-Member Church

China shut down a well-known 1,000-member Beijing church over the weekend and then changed the locks to prevent members from returning to the building.

The congregation, Shouwang Church, made worldwide headlines five years ago when it stood up to Chinese leaders and refused to register with the government. Its senior pastor, Jin Tian-ming, remains under house arrest.

In the latest confrontation, more than 20 Chinese police and government officials raided a children’s Bible school class Saturday and told church leaders the congregation could no longer meet, according to International Christian Concern (ICC).

Chinese officials also ordered the pastor, Zhang Xiaofeng, to sign a document claiming the church “has conducted activities as a social organization without registration, which is in violation of Regulations of Religious Affairs and Regulations on the Registration and Management of Social Organizations.”

Government officials then changed the building’s locks. Shouwang is one of the largest house churches in Beijing, according to ICC.

Churches are required to register in China. Registration comes with restrictions on how the Christian faith can be practiced.

“China’s disregard of religious freedom for its 1.4 billion citizens is deplorable,” said Gina Goh, ICC’s regional manager. “Christians outside of the state-sanctioned churches can no longer worship without fearing of harassment, detention or even imprisonment. Even official churches face increasing pressure to exalt the Communist Party over God. The international community should continue to press China over its human rights abuses until it is willing to make positive change.”

Said Bob Fu, president of ChinaAid, “China’s oppression against house churches will not be loosened. A systematic, in-the-name-of-law crackdown will continue to take place."

Birds of the sky

Mt, 6:26 See the birds of the sky!

Today I got a chance to obey this command, see the birds of the sky and learn from them.

While I was sitting on the terrace in the morning, a group of crows making pretty good noise came and sat at the other end. Perhaps they didn’t watch me. All were busy, very alert, focussing on one, which had something, in its beak. It was a nice piece of breakfast, a clog of pongal, obviously stolen from some house, where the kitchen was open. It was trying to find a comfortable place to eat it and found the terrace. But the other crows were not allowing. Knowing that it had something in its beak, others followed it. Crows are stupid in inviting others to share the loots, by making noise! As the leader crow, in a miserable attempt to swallow it, laid it on the floor. Three, four others tried to snatch it away!. It was a terrific struggle for the leader crow to safeguard it from others and at the same time eat it! All the crows were making noise and still some more were coming and joining. (I was wondering why these crows can’t go to the same kitchen and steal instead of stealing from this little bit! May be they don’t want to take the risk of being chased away! ). The owner crow had no other go than swallowing it as quick as possible. Since it didn’t want to share it with them, they were trying to snatch it even from its beak, some from the floor! Some even touched its beak! A few crows were successful and got little pieces. A major portion was swallowed by the owner!. Others who could come nearer, got a little share. It was found even chasing others, in its busy career of swallowing it. All the others did not get anything. Some who dared come closer, were even scratching the floor with their beaks even to pick up the left overs. Anyway, in 2, 3 minutes everything got over and the whole crowd disappeared. They don’t seem to regret or get disappointed over the morning adventure. All were as enthusiastic as they came, when they flew away!

Certain thoughts came to my mind in a flash. The Lord showed me the replica of what is going on in our country these days. One leader emerges and a crowd join him making noise. The leader has something in his beak which attracts others to join him. They make a lot of noise encouraging others also to join them. All the efforts are for that piece in his beak, stolen from some kitchen. Seeing their adventurous nature of boldly stealing, a group joins them, try to share the booty. There is a lot of noise made through media, attracting everybody to join them. The original leader swallow to a major part, others who come nearer get little bits. Those who join them for campaigning, only make noise. They get nothing. Within 2,3 weeks everything will be over. The original looter crow will go to some other house to steal. The same flow will repeat there also. May be the crows which join will be different.

The lineage of crow has the character of stealing. The way it earns its livelihood is by stealing. Nobody can find fault with it or file a case against it. Sometimes it will steal from your plate also if it is not safeguarded. You have to be careful not to be carried away by the noise !

War Planners Concerned: WW3 Simulations Show US Lose To Russia & China

In simulated World War III scenarios, the U.S. continues to lose against Russia and China, two top war planners warned last week. “In our games, when we fight Russia and China, blue gets its ass handed to it” RAND analyst David Ochmanek said Thursday.

RAND’s wargames show how US Armed Forces – colored blue on wargame maps – experience the most substantial losses in one scenario after another and still can’t thwart Russia or China – which predictably is red – from accomplishing their objectives: annihilating Western forces.

“We lose a lot of people. We lose a lot of equipment. We usually fail to achieve our objective of preventing aggression by the adversary,” he warned.

In the next military conflict, which some believe may come as soon as the mid-2020s, all five battlefield domains: land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace, will be heavily contested, suggesting the U.S. could have a difficult time in achieving superiority as it has in prior conflicts. The simulated war games showed, the “red” aggressor force often destroys U.S. F-35 Lightning II stealth fighters on the runway, sends several Naval fleets to the depths, destroys US military bases, and through electronic warfare, takes control of critical military communication systems. In short, a gruesome, if simulated, annihilation of some of the most modern of US forces.

“In every case I know of,” said Robert Work, a former deputy secretary of defense with years of wargaming experience, “the F-35 rules the sky when it’s in the sky, but it gets killed on the ground in large numbers.” So, as Russia and China develop fifth-generation fighters and hypersonic missiles, “things that rely on sophisticated base infrastructures like runways and fuel tanks are going to have a hard time,” Ochmanek said. “Things that sail on the surface of the sea are going to have a hard time.”

“That’s why the 2020 budget coming out next week retires the carrier USS Truman decades early and cuts two amphibious landing ships, as we’ve reported. It’s also why the Marine Corps is buying the jump-jet version of the F-35, which can take off and land from tiny, ad hoc airstrips, but how well they can maintain a high-tech aircraft in low-tech surroundings is an open question,” said Breaking Defense.

Meanwhile, speaking purely hypothetically of course, “if we went to war in Europe, there would be one Patriot battery moving, and it would go to Ramstein. And that’s it,” Work complained. The US has 58 Brigade Combat Teams across the continent but doesn’t have anti-air and missile-defense capabilities required to handle a barrage of missiles from Russia.

RAND also war-gamed cyber and electronic attacks in the simulations, Work said; Russia and China tend to cripple US communication networks.

“Whenever we have an exercise and the red force really destroys our command and control, we stop the exercise,” Work said without a trace of humor. Beijing calls this “system destruction warfare,” Work said. They aim to “attack the American battle network at all levels, relentlessly, and they practice it all the time.” The Air Force asked RAND to formulate a plan several years ago to improve the outcomes of the wargames in favor of the US, Ochmanek said. “We found it impossible to spend more than $8 billion a year” to fix the problems.

“That’s $8 billion for the Air Force. Triple that to cover for the Army and the Navy Department (which includes the US Marines),” Ochmanek said, “and you get $24 billion.”Work was less concerned about the near-term risk of war, and he said, China and Russia aren’t ready to fight because their modernization efforts have not been completed. He said any major conflict is unlikely for another 10 to 20 years from now.

He said “$24 billion a year for the next five years would be a good expenditure” to prepare the military for World War III. RAND offers a sobering assessment that America could lose a multi-front war in the future, which is quite shocking considering that the US spent nearly three times as much as the second biggest war power, China, did in 2017.

We stood up for the Christians in Bandhan that day, and I will never take a turn back from defending any Christian facing similar situation in future.”

Archaeologists May Have Found the Old Testament City of Ai

Dr. Scott Stripling and a team of archaeologists say they may have found the location of the Biblical city of Ai from the Old Testament.

The team, the Associates for Biblical Research, has been excavating the site near Jerusalem for years, according to SputnikNews.com.

“There were 14 years of difficult digging with an 8-year hiatus due to the Intifada,” Stripling said, referring to the Palestinian uprising against Israel. “We suffered from constant vandalism. But we persevered and did an excellent job of excavating.”

The city of Ai was a Canaanite city described in the Book of Joshua where the city was ambushed by Joshua and the Israelites.

Previously, archaeologists and historians have thought that the ruins of the city were near el-Tell in the West Bank. However, Stripling’s team is claiming that the city was located at Khirbet el-Maqatir.

Stripling said the biblical description of the Israelites hiding in a dip could be present-day Wadi Sheban, which is just west of the ancient city of Ai.

Stripling is expected to publish his findings and what he calls “compelling evidence” later this year.

“This gives us a regional perspective, an overview of what was happening in the highlands of Israel in antiquity,” he said. “We can see transitions in the culture.”

Stripling says he is a Christian and his work has bolstered his faith.

“My work in archaeology in Israel has affected me profoundly as a believer,” he said.

“I already believed in the Bible, but as the years go by I have seen hundreds of examples of synchronisation between the material culture we are excavating and what I read in the text. This is a constant reminder that there is a God and that he left a record of his work in history.”

2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive good or evil [through the body] according to that which he has done.

A great truth is exposed here. Each human being [individually] will have to appear before the judgment seat of Christ.

Church's duty is to prepare and equip each individual for this appearance.

How to accomplish this.

Make each individual aware of this fact.

As a school prepares a student to write the exam, a believer should be equipped to live a victorious life by performing the great commission and the fundamental 5 duties of a believer i.e. Mark 16:17,18.

These signs are the identification marks of a believer too. Just like

A parent

An M. P. cannot write the exam for a student, none of them can take a believer to heaven. The greatest deception is that many play God in today's world. They make the innocent people believe that they will be responsible to take them to heaven. The huge crowd who follow various religions including Christianity, who want to go to heaven or get things done by God, throng to somebody who claims to be brokers between man and God. In all religions this foul play is there. People cling to human beings or systems in order to have access to God. Religious leaders take advantage of this wrong faith and exploit them.

This foul play can be exposed only if believers read the Bible properly. The following verses make it very clear.

1 Peter 4:5 But they shall give account to Him who is ready to judge [the] living and [the] dead.

Ecclesiastes 11:9 Rejoice, in your youth, young man; and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth, and walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes; but know that for all these [things] God will bring you into judgment.

Ecclesiastes 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether [it is] good, or whether evil.

Church should reach the believers that are either parents or pastors or church heads will be accompanying them before the throne of judgment. Each one will be standing alone.

In the court, two parties will be there. The offender and defender. Here only judgment will be read out. No chance for defending, accusing, explaining, etc. As per their deeds, judgment will be meted out.
The judgment is not for a few years or months. It's eternal. Punishment is for eternity .

There is no other appellate. On earth we can go from lower court to higher court. Can manipulate people, bribe, approach even the President . But there once the judgment is announced, no change at all. It will be executed with immediate effect.
The Constitution used for judgment will be the BIBLE. John 12:48

Those who know the Bible, those who do not follow the Bible, those who have not even heard of the Bible everybody will be judged by the same Constitution!

Why Are Mass Killing Of Christians Not Given Media Coverage?

Last week, when a deranged lunatic gunned down dozens of Muslims at two mosques in New Zealand it suddenly became the biggest news story in the world, and rightly so. It was a major news event, and it needed to be reported. But shouldn't mass killings of Christians be given the same sort of media coverage? Sadly, we all know that doesn't happen. Whenever there is a mass killing of Christians, it is usually entirely ignored by the mainstream media in the United States, and it doesn't take a genius to figure out why this is happening.

Those that control the mainstream media consider Christians to be one of the main obstacles to "progress" in this country, and so any story that would put Christians in a positive or sympathetic light simply does not fit any of the narratives that they are pushing. As a result of the lack of media coverage, the vast majority of Americans do not know that "4,136 Christians were killed for faith-related reasons" last year. That number breaks down to an average of 11 per day.

In Nigeria, more than 120 Christians have been gunned down or killed with machetes over the past three weeks, but Breitbart was the only big media outlet to report on it. As Breitbart News alone reported among major news outlets, Fulani jihadists racked up a death toll of over 120 Christians over the past three weeks in central Nigeria, employing machetes and gunfire to slaughter men, women, and children, burning down over 140 houses, destroying property, and spreading terror. The New York Times did not place this story on the front page; in fact, they did not cover it at all. Apparently, when assessing "all the news that's fit to print," the massacre of African Christians did not measure up. The same can be said for the Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, the Detroit Free Press, the LA Times, and every other major paper in the United States.

And of course Breitbart is not exactly "mainstream" media.

So why won't anyone else report on this? And this isn't the first time this has happened. Last June, twelve entire Christian villages in central Nigeria were completely wiped out...

In only days, a dozen villages in Nigeria's Plateau state were wiped out. The affected communities surround the city of Jos--known as the epicenter of Christianity in northern Nigeria's Middle Belt. As many as 200 Christians had been killed, however, some residents fear the death toll may be even higher, as more bodies are yet to be recovered, while others were burned beyond recognition. On Sunday, 75 of the victims were buried in a mass grave. I'll bet that most of you had not heard about that until now.

On the other side of the world, 20 innocent people were slaughtered when Muslim radicals bombed a Roman Catholic cathedral in January. On January 27, Muslim extremists bombed a Roman Catholic cathedral on the Philippine island of Jolo, killing some 20 people and injuring dozens of others.

Once again, this is yet another mass killing that was almost entirely ignored by the mainstream media. Is the anti-Christian bias among the mainstream media so strong that they can't even bring themselves to report the basic facts to us?

People deserve to know what is happening. Christian persecution is rising in almost every nation on the planet, and this huge ongoing crisis should be on our front pages on a continual basis. But instead, we never get to hear any of these stories unless we seek out alternative sources of information. Over in China, the persecution of Christians has reached a frightening crescendo. Recently, officials have been going house to house and replacing pictures of Jesus Christ "with pictures of dictator Mao Zedong and/or China's current authoritarian president, Xi Jinping"...

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) continues to harass and persecute Christians and, in recent months, has taken to removing pictures of Jesus Christ from inside homes and replacing them with pictures of dictator Mao Zedong and/or China's current authoritarian president, Xi Jinping. In addition, Communist officials have removed Christian symbols and phrases on the outside of homes and replaced them with phrases praising socialist materialism. But they aren't stopping there. Bibles are being burned, and any churches that do not "cooperate" with Chinese officials are being either shut down or destroyed. Earlier in 2019, one of the largest megachurches in the entire country was literally blown to pieces with dynamite...

Chinese authorities blew up a well-known Christian megachurch earlier this year, inflaming long-standing tensions between religious groups and the Communist Party. Witnesses and overseas activists said the paramilitary People's Armed Police used dynamite and excavators to destroy the Golden Lampstand Church, which has a congregation of more than 50,000, in the city of Linfen in Shanxi province

We are talking about evil that is on a level that is difficult to comprehend. So why won't the mainstream media talk about any of this?

Similar things are happening on the other side of the world too. In Eritrea, Christians are being imprisoned in "small shipping containers in scorching heat"... Since 1993, President Afwerki has overseen an authoritarian brutal regime that rests on massive human rights violations. During the 2019 World Watch List reporting period, government security forces conducted many house-to-house raids and imprisoned hundreds of Christians in inhumane conditions, including small shipping containers in scorching heat. And in North Korea, Christians are "being hung on a cross over a fire, crushed under a steamroller, herded off bridges, and trampled underfoot"...

According to charity Aid to the Church in Need, at least 200,000 Christians have gone missing in North Korea since 1953 -- many of those have been summarily executed. As to the specific treatment of those persecuted, the 2014 UN Commission of Inquiry report discovered that the North Korean regime has been guilty of "crimes against humanity." According to Christian Solidarity Worldwide, violent incidents against Christians include "being hung on a cross over a fire, crushed under a steamroller, herded off bridges, and trampled underfoot."

If you were to replace "Christians" with some other favored group in any of the examples that I have just shared, you would instantly have front page news all over the planet.

The mainstream media is definitely not "independent", and they are not looking out for you. They have their own agenda, and anything that does not fit that agenda does not get to be part of "the news". So far in 2019, there have been 453 Islamic terror attacks in which 1,956 people have been murdered. But you will never hear those numbers from the mainstream media.

Instead, when the mainstream media talks about Bible-believing Christians it is almost always an attack story. As a recent Breitbart article aptly observed, having "an anti-Christian bias" has become "the last acceptable prejudice". It is time to turn off the mainstream news for good. They quit reporting "the news" a long time ago, and now it is all about promoting one left-wing narrative after another.

Today, trust in the media is at an all-time low, and it is easy to understand why so many Americans are absolutely sick and tired of being lied to by the big media companies.

49 Killed, 20 Injured in Christchurch Mosques in Deadliest Mass Shooting in New Zealand History

49 people were killed Friday when several people opened fire in two New Zealand mosques.

According to the BBC, 49 people were killed and 20 injured in mass shootings at two mosques in the city of Christchurch in New Zealand Friday.

Attackers entered the houses of worship during Friday prayer services resulting in the deadliest shooting in New Zealand’s history.

According to USA Today, four people have been taken into custody, including one shooter – a 28-year-old Australian citizen – who live streamed the massacre on Facebook.

Police are urging people not to watch the “extremely distressing” video as social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Reddit work to remove all footage of the event posted to their platforms.

The BBC reports that three men and one woman were detained, one of whom – a man in his late twenties – has already been charged with murder for his role in the mass shootings. Police Commissioner Mike Bush also confirmed that additional firearms and explosives were also recovered when the believed shooters were detained.

As for the shooters’ motivation, USA Today reports that a manifesto was posted to social media by one of the shooters listing white-nationalists and declaring anti-immigrant ideology.

According to Euro News, many of those in the mosques were refugees and migrants who chose to live in New Zealand.

Prime Minister Ardern said in a press conference following that attack that "It is clear that this can now only be described as a terrorist attack."

Arden echoed this sentiment in a Tweet saying, "What has happened in Christchurch is an extraordinary act of unprecedented violence. It has no place in New Zealand. Many of those affected will be members of our migrant communities - New Zealand is their home - they are us."

Nurse Who Was Fired for Telling Patients about Jesus Has Name Cleared

A British nurse who was fired for telling patients about her Christian faith was cleared last week following a two-year investigation.

Sarah Kuteh – who has 15 years of experience -- worked at Darent Valley Hospital. As part of her job, she was required to ask patients about their faith during a pre-operation assessment questionnaire. This naturally led to conversations with some patients about her Christian faith, according to Christian Concern, a United Kingdom organization.

“I would … reassure them, based on the joy and peace that I really have found in Jesus,” she said.

But a few patients complained, leading to her dismissal in June 2016. Even worse, the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) placed restrictions on her future employment. She found another job, but due to the restrictions she was required to have a senior nurse oversee her.

“All I had done was to nurse and care for patients,” she said. “How could it ever be harmful to tell someone about Jesus?”

But last week, the NMC dropped the restrictions, clearing her name. The NMC ruled, “It is in the public interest to return an otherwise experienced and competent nurse into practice.”

She was represented by the Christian Legal Centre.

“But for the question on the pre-op assessment questionnaire, these conversations would not have taken place,” Andrea Williams, chief executive of the Christian Legal Centre, said in a statement. “Without proper investigation, she was fired and her long career as a nurse put under threat. Those who know Sarah recognise what a caring, hard-working nurse she is, and the professionalism she brings to her job. Although it’s disappointing that she was ever penalised for her actions – which were wholly motivated by compassion – we rejoice that Sarah is once again free to bring her skill and expertise to her role as a nurse.”

Col 3:2 “Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.”

In today’s world there are many items which works automatically when once set. Washing machines can be set for cotton, silk, quick wash items. Iron box can be set for cotton, linen, silk etc..Mixy, fan all can be set on 1, 2, 3 as we wish.

Here Paul asks us to set our mind on things that are above. Above means things that are of heaven. In order to make it more clear, he adds,

Set your mind….” not on the things that are on the earth”.

What are the things of heaven?

1 Cor 2:9 “But as it is written, “Things which an eye didn’t see, and an ear didn’t hear, which didn’t enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him.”

We will have many surprises when we reach heaven.

People whom we meet there. Those whom the world would have ignored; perhaps a servant while a master whom he was serving missing.

I met one boy Abraham, (studying 8th std) yesterday who had come all the way from Yercaud to Madurai to attend the RUB meeting. He was possessed by evil spirit a month back. He narrated his testimony how Jesus delivered him.

After the meeting, when everybody got dispersed, he came rushing to me, telling,

“Sister, I have something more to tell you.

“Three things”. 1st week when I came to pray (in the house church) I saw Jesus. I could not see his face. It was so bright. I could not look at him.

2nd week, Jesus came to me. I held his legs tight.

3rd week, I asked him for a cycle. Within 2 days I got a cycle.”

Those who walked and lived with Jesus like this will be seen there.

I know a sister whose son and daughter both didn’t have children. When someone asks, with a smile always on her face she will say, “God will give in the appropriate time.” After 10 years of marriage, finally her son got a child.

Still the daughter was waiting. Her smile did not fade. Now after 2 years, exactly 10th year of her marriage, her daughter also conceived and is awaiting delivery. I could witness the mind and face of a person who has not set her mind on things that are on the earth.

Countdown to Red Heifer

After years of hard work and preparation, the rabbi charged with overseeing the red heifer claims that this Biblical commandment is on the verge of reappearing. Rabbi Azariah Ariel goes on record, explaining how the return of this ritual of purification will, and will not, change our lives.

The Temple Institute in Jerusalem has been working for three decades to educate the public and make practical steps to prepare for the Third Temple. After many years of research and work, they are close to bringing about an essential element: the Red Heifer. If they are successful, implementing the red heifer ritual will not only have implications for the Temple service but will also help Jews observe other commandments in a more complete manner.

The commandment of the red heifer is described by the sages as the most inexplicable of any in the Torah. Yet lacking a red heifer has left all of Israel ritually impure and unable to properly perform many other commandments. The Temple Institute in Jerusalem has tasked Rabbi Ariel with supervising the effort to reestablish this essential Torah commandment. As such, Rabbi Ariel is precise in his description of the commandment including its present-day implications.

“The Torah commands us to perform the mitzvah (Torah commandment) in order to be in a ritually pure condition,” Rabbi Ariel explained to Breaking Israel News. “This is necessary for us to engage in anything that is holy or sanctified. It is important to understand that impurity is not any type of physical dirt or something. For most ritual impurities, bathing in a mikveh (ritual bath) is sufficient.

The highest level of impurity comes from contact with the dead and to purify this condition, the ashes of the red heifer are required. This condition comes not only from contact with the dead but to be under the same roof as a dead body also brings about this severe level of ritual impurity. This can typically happen if a person is inside a hospital in which a dead body is present. In such cases, the ashes of the red heifer are the only method for becoming ritually pure. Lacking the ashes of the red heifer, this condition remains forever.”

The physical requirements for a red heifer are simple yet precise. This has led to an intense search for an exceedingly rare candidate.

“We know that there have been nine red heifers throughout history, the first having been prepared in the times of Moses and Elazar, the son of Aaron,” Ariel explained. “A red heifer is a female cow that is red. In the language of the Bible, red is not exclusively what we know today as red. It also includes brown and other similar shades of red. This excludes black. All of the hairs on its body must be the same color.”

The rabbi described a recent case in which a calf was found to have six white hairs near its nose which rendered it unfit.

“The animal must also be two years old. There can be no blemish, no holes in the ear. Until that point, it is considered a calf and not a cow. At that point, the cow can be slaughtered and prepared.”

Though reinstating the Temple service in its entirety is dependent on the return of the red heifer ritual, the ashes of the red heifer are prepared outside of the Temple.

“This is not a sacrifice per se so it is burned in an area outside of the Temple, on the Mount of Olives. The ashes are collected. A tiny bit of the ashes are mixed with spring water and can be sprinkled on people in order to purify them.”

Only a tiny bit of the ashes are required for the purification ritual so one heifer will suffice for all of the Jews.

“If properly prepared, one heifer is sufficient to purify the entire nation. There is no limit on how much wood can be burned with the heifer. Those ashes are also used to purify people. A tiny amount of ash, a few milligrams, can be mixed with a large quantity of water. In this manner, one heifer can indeed purify the entire nation.”

“Even after the destruction of the Second Temple, ashes remained hidden away in different places, and were used to purify the Jews,” Rabbi Ariel said.

But the return of the red heifer ritual will affect everyday life for Jews.

“The lack of ashes from the red heifer has prevented us from performing many Torah commandments,” Ariel explained. “For example, today, when a Jew makes bread, they separate out a small amount for the mitzvah of hafrashat challah (separating out a quantity of dough for the priests). Today, the dough is disposed of. This is done because of the ritual impurity of the person making the dough and of the Kohanim (Jewish men of the priestly caste).

If we can reinstate the ritual of the red heifer, this dough can be baked and given to the Kohanim to eat. This baked product is one of the 24 Divinely ordained gifts designated for the kohanim. There are many commandments like this that we are unable to perform due to the lack of the ashes of the red heifer.

“The ashes of the red heifer are not necessary exclusively for Temple-related commandments. This will enable the complete performance of many mitzvoth we already do today.”

Many believe that the search for the red heifer is motivated by a desire to hasten the arrival of the Messiah but Rabbi Ariel stated emphatically that this is not the case.

“There is a great misconception concerning the red heifer,” Rabbi Ariel said. “Some people believe that by reinstating the ritual of the red heifer, we will bring the Messiah or reinstate the Temple service. This is an incorrect understanding. God does not do my bidding. We do His bidding.

The Jews were given the Torah and commanded to do the mitzvoth. It is not our intention to bring about a divine reaction through the red heifer. Our only interest is to perform the mitzvoth as they were given. The red heifer is a commandment so we perform it. It will allow us to perform other mitzvoth. Other than that, there are no expectations or additional agenda.”

Ariel told Breaking Israel News that there are two calves that may potentially be used in for the preparation of the ashes. They are currently being raised in an undisclosed location under special conditions. Care must be taken that they are not scarred or blemished and they must remain separated from bulls.

“As per the Torah requirements, it is forbidden that any yoke or burden be placed on them. When the calves reach two years of age, they will be checked again to ensure that the color has not changed and that they have no blemishes.”

“We are working on this but the most important thing we can do is to keep their location secret. If we succeed, in two years we will be permitted to perform more mitzvoth in the manner God commanded.”

Local Council Bans Prayer or Counseling Outside London Abortion Center

A local council in a borough of southwest London has passed a vote to set up a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) around a BPAS abortion clinic. The protection order put in place will ban pro-life vigils and protests “with respect to issues related to abortion services, by any means” wrote the Independent.

The Richmond Council’s unanimous decision to introduce the PSPO around the Twickenham clinic prevents the “peaceful pro-life prayer vigils” normally held by the Good Counsel Network, according to Life News.

In addition to protests, attempts to provide counseling support to women visiting the center will be banned, “along with ‘any form’ of interaction with residents, road users or BPAS staff if it relates to terminations, according to a draft document,” reported the Independent.

This ban spreads across six roads surrounding the clinic to create a buffer zone in areas where Richmond Council says protest has grown in recent years. Positive and negative feelings have been reported by women who have attended the clinic. Many have said to have felt judged and targeted by the manner of protest occurring, while others have received support after handed leaflets, and decided not to end their pregnancies.

Some of these women gave testimonies to the council, expressing their “dismay” that the introduction of a censorship zone will prevent “vulnerable women from receiving information about help and support available to them,” as Be Here For Me explained in a press release.

“I told the council my story, but they have not listened,” said a mother who testified to Richmond Council. “I told them that when I met the group outside the abortion centre in Richmond, it was the first time that I felt I had a choice. But now the PSPO means that offering the help I received outside the centre is a crime.”

With the passing of this order, Richmond becomes the second council to us a PSPO to stop people praying and offering women help outside an abortion clinic after Ealing enacted a PSPO last April.

Liberty, an independent human rights advocacy organization in the UK, along with other organizations, has raised concerns that the orders, both at Richmond and Ealing, have been too broad and vague to “render it proportionate,” as it is now a criminal offense to make “any offer of help” to women on Rosslyn Road, and “directed” prayer and council is banned.

A member of the Good Counsel Network, Clare McCullough, told the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (SPUC) that she offered to limit the vigil to one person with a leaflet offering to help, with “no praying and no placards.” She was told, however, this would be “too distressing for clients and staff.”

The Man Who Was Not Allowed to Board Flight 302: ‘Say Thank You to God’

“When I arrived, boarding was closed and I watched the last passengers in (the) tunnel go in. I screamed to put me in but they didn’t allow it.”

This is how a Greek passenger named Antonis Mavropoulos described his attempt to board Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 last Sunday morning.

He was not allowed to board the next flight to Nairobi after the airline lost contact with the flight he was supposed to take. He says that a security staff member “told me gently not to protest and say thank you to God, because I am the only passenger who did not enter the flight.”

Antonis Mavropoulos has abundant reason to “say thank you to God” today. What about those who lost someone on the airplane he tried to board?

The 157 victims of Flight 302 were a small percentage of the 153,424 people who die every day around the world. But the sudden shock of their deaths made their loss especially tragic.

Is the Christian faith truly relevant at a time like this?

IS GOD A CLOCKMAKER?

One of the finest pastors in America, a dear friend of mine, lost his oldest son recently. As the father of two and grandfather of four, I cannot begin to imagine his pain. Or that of the families grieving over the Ethiopian airline tragedy.

At times like this, grief can turn us from God in bitterness and disappointment. If he’s our loving Father, why does he allow his children to suffer so terribly?

Or grief can turn us toward God in faith and hope. Since he’s our loving Father, won’t he help us through these days of despair and pain?

Nothing about the Ethiopian jet crash changed the character of God. If he loved us before, he loves us still. If he was King of the universe on Saturday, he is King on Tuesday.

What we fear is that the tragedy reveals something about God we don’t want to believe. Perhaps he is not as loving or as powerful as we thought he was. Perhaps he is not as relevant to our lives and suffering as we believed him to be.

Maybe he is a clockmaker watching his invention run down on its own. Or maybe he’s not there at all.

WHEN A HAMMER CANNOT DRILL A HOLE

The key is to understand what the Christian faith promises and what it does not.

It is unfair to blame a hammer when it cannot drill a hole or a drill when it cannot drive a nail. Jesus never promised us that his followers would be immune from death and grief. Just the opposite: “In the world you will have tribulation,” he warned us (John 16:33). What Jesus did promise is that he will be with us “to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). He said of his followers: “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand” (John 10:28).

He promised that he would reward his persecuted followers: “Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven” (Matthew 5:12). He promised the thief on the cross what he promises us in the moment of our death: “You will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43; Philippians 1:21).

“THE LAST OF HUMAN FREEDOMS”

In the meantime, his Spirit is using our challenges to mold us into the character of Christ (Romans 8:29).

In Man’s Search for Meaning, holocaust survivor Viktor Frankl wrote that he and his fellow prisoners experienced “the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” He discovered that in responding to their suffering, “the sort of person the prisoner became was the result of an inner decision, and not the result of camp influences alone.”

It is precisely here—when we must choose the “sort of person” we become—that Jesus’ presence and power are especially relevant to us.

But there’s a catch.

“WHY DO YOU SEEK THE LIVING AMONG THE DEAD?”

When women came to Jesus’ tomb to finish his burial, “they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus” (Luke 24:2–3). “While they were perplexed about this,” two angels appeared to them (v. 4). They asked the women, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?” (v. 5).

We are comfortable with theology (“a word about God”), less with Theo (“God” himself).

Twenty centuries after Easter, Christians can still do the same. We “seek the living among the dead” when we treat Jesus as anyone or anything other than our living Lord. When he is an idea, a theology, a model, a movement, he is as “dead” as if he were Muhammad or Buddha. When we experience him as a living person, only then do we not seek him among the dead.

It is hard in our materialistic culture to trust that which must be known through faith rather than through experience. We understand cemeteries more than resurrections. We are comfortable with theology (“a word about God”), less with Theo (“God” himself).

“I FEEL THE BOTTOM AND IT IS GOOD”

What grief are you carrying for yourself or for someone you know?

Bring it to the risen and living Christ. Ask him to use it to make you more like him—more dependent on your Father (John 5:30), more obedient to his will (Matthew 26:39), and more compassionate for those who suffer (John 11:35). Then ask his Spirit to make you the presence of Jesus for someone who is hurting (1 Corinthians 12:26–27).

And know that whatever you face, the worst is only the gateway to the best.

Yandall Woodfin was one of my professors and mentors in seminary. His marvelous textbook, With All Your Mind: A Christian Philosophy, ends with these words:

“It can be for any of us who trusts in Christ as it was for Christian and Hopeful in John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress. As they approach the river of death, which has no way around nor bridge across, they ask about the depth of the water and are told, ‘You shall find it deeper or shallower, as you believe in the King of the place.’

“Upon entering the water Christian begins to sink and cries to his companion that the billows and waves are going over his head. To this Hopeful responds, ‘Be of good cheer, my Brother, I feel the bottom and it is good.’ Christian soon finds solid ground to stand on and ‘the rest of the River was but shallow.’”

God tests human beings to know what is in their heart. To know whether one has the full heart or half a heart for Him.

When a child was born to Abraham, the Lord tested him to know how much love he has for his son and how much for God. God the creator wants His children to love Him above everything. Once a 12th Std student who is a worshiper of other gods, during the training sessions, raised a question to me.

“Why should God demand all the love, glory, honour, praise and worship for himself?”

Even though I answered him, I could not answer to my full satisfaction.

Next day during class, he said, “Sister, I got the answer for my question.”

“Last night during sleep a conversation was going on between me and somebody. I think it is God.

He asked me, Why do you purchase mixy at home.?

I said, ‘For my mom, to help her in kitchen.

‘What if it refuses to grind?’

“Dad will throw it away and buy a new one.”

‘I have created you to worship me. That is the only purpose for which man is created. If he refuses to worship me, he is failing in the very purpose for which he is created. He won’t be of any use to me thereafter. Fit only to be thrown away”.

He accepted God then and there.

There are certain timings for tests. Students will have their final exam after the completion of the course.

Gen 22 begins with “After these things, God tested Abraham…..”

After what?

After all the incidents in Gen 21.i.e. Sending Ishmael away from his home for ever.

If the test had come before it, (before i.e.sending away Ishmael) it wouldn’t have hit Abraham so hard.

God chose the exact time for the test and the exact method for test.

When Abraham was full of sorrow for his son Ishmael, the demand came to sacrifice Isaac.

God may allow such situations in your life too! Just to test and know the intentions of your heart!. After that promotions alone will await us.

Now you understand the reason why many Christians live a lethargic nominal life without any promotions!

They are failures in tests! Or skippers of tests!

The Real Reason Why Globalists Are So Obsessed With Artificial Intelligence

It is nearly impossible to traverse web news or popular media today without being assaulted by vast amounts of propaganda on Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is perhaps the fad to end all fads as it supposedly encompasses almost every aspect of human existence, from economics and security to philosophy and art.

According to mainstream claims, AI can do almost everything and do it better than any human being. And, the things AI can’t do, it WILL be able to do eventually.

Whenever the establishment attempts to saturate the media with a particular narrative, it is usually with the intent to manipulate public perception in a way that produces self fulfilling prophecy. In other words, they hope to shape reality by telling a particular lie so often it becomes accepted by the masses over time as fact.

The globalists have long held AI as a kind of holy grail in centralization technology. The United Nations has adopted numerous positions and even summits on the issue, including the “AI For Good” summit in Geneva. The UN insinuates that its primary interest in AI is in regulation or observation of how it is exploited, but the UN also has clear goals to use AI to its advantage. The use of AI as a means to monitor mass data to better institute “sustainable development” is written clearly in the UN’s agenda.

The IMF is also in on the AI trend, holding global discussions on the uses of AI in economics as well as the effects of algorithms on economic analysis.

The main source for the development of AI has long been DARPA. The military and globalist think tank dumps billions of dollars into the technology, making AI the underlying focus of most of DARPA’s work. AI is not only on the globalist’s radar; they are essentially spearheading the creation and promotion of it.

The globalist desire for the technology is not as simple as some might assume, however. They have strategic reasons, but also religious reasons for placing AI on an ideological pedestal. But first I suppose we should tackle the obvious.

In most white papers written by globalist institutions on AI, the thrust centers on mass data collection and surveillance. The elites are careful to always assert that their interests focus on the public good. This is why the UN and other agencies argue that they should be the leaders in oversight of mass data collection. That is to say, they want us to believe that they are objective and trustworthy enough to manage rules for data surveillance, or, to manage the data itself.

For the safety of the public, the globalists want centralized management of all data collection, ostensibly to save us from those evil corporations and their invasion of data privacy. Of course, most of those corporations are also run by globalists that fill the guest books of events like the World Economic Forum to discuss the advancements and advantages of AI. The WEF has made it a mandate that AI be promoted widely and that the business world and the general public be convinced of AI’s advantages. Bias against AI must be prevented…

So, what we have here is yet another false paradigm in which globalist institutions are opposed to corporations in terms of how AI is used. Yet, globalist corporations and globalist institutions both develop AI as well as pro-AI sentiment. The public, with its innate distrust of corporate moral compass, is supposed to be convinced to support UN regulatory reforms as a counterbalance. But in reality, corporate powers have no intention of fighting against UN control, they will ultimately welcome it.

This was the goal all along.

The actual effectiveness of AI as a means to help humanity is questionable. AI is primarily about “learning algorithms”, or machines that are programmed to learn from experience. The problem is that a learning algorithm is only as effective as the human beings that program it in the first place. That is to say, learning is not always a cause and effect process. Sometimes, learning is a spontaneous epiphany. Learning is creative. And, in some cases, learning is inborn.

When a machine is pitted against a human in a system built on very simple and concrete rules, machines tend to prevail. A chess game, for example, is designed around hard rules that never change. A pawn is always a pawn and always moves like a pawn; a knight always moves like a knight. While there can be moments of creativity in chess (which is why humans to this day are still on occasion able to beat computers at the game), the existence of the rules makes AI seem smarter than it is.

Human systems and natural systems are far more complicated than chess, and the rules tend to change, sometimes without warning. As quantum physics often discovers, the only thing that is predictable when observing the universe and nature is that all things are unpredictable. How well would an algorithm do in a chess game where a pawn could suddenly evolve to move like a knight, without any specific predictable patterns? Not very well I suspect.

And this is where we get into the crux of how the image of AI is being inflated into a kind of electronic god; a false prophet.

Missouri Targets Abortion with Bill Stating ‘God Is the Author of Life’

The Missouri House of Representatives passed a bill Wednesday that has been labeled the “strongest pro-life bill in the country” and that even states “God is the author of life.”

The bill, H.B. 126, passed by a vote of 117-39 and now heads to the Senate. Both are controlled by Republicans. Gov. Mike Parson, a Republican, supports it.

The bill has multiple provisions related to abortion — including bans on abortion when there is a heartbeat and when the unborn baby can feel pain — but is unique in mentioning God.

“In recognition that God is the author of life and that Article I, Section 2 of the Constitution of Missouri provides that all persons have a natural right to life,” the bill begins, “it is the intention of the general assembly of the state of Missouri” to “defend the right to life of all humans, born and unborn” and to “declare that the state and all of its political subdivisions are a ‘sanctuary of life’ that protects pregnant women and their unborn children.”

Republican Speaker Elijah Haahr called it “the strongest pro-life bill in the country.”

The bill, among other things:

— bans abortion at eight weeks gestational age or later, when a heartbeat can be detected.

— bans abortion at 20 weeks or later, when an unborn baby can feel pain.

— bans abortions for a race, gender or a Down syndrome diagnosis.

— bans abortion in the state if Roe v. Wade is overturned, unless it’s for a “medical emergency.”

— requires a second custodial parent be notified when a minor seeks an abortion.

Steve Rupp, president of Missouri Right to Life, said the bill is a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade.

“All pro-life Missourians are extremely grateful to the Missouri House for their leadership in passing the most pro-life bill ever attempted in our country,” Rupp said. “Missouri is a pro-life state and we will not stand by as liberal states around the country legalize abortion up to birth and even infanticide. This legislation will save thousands of lives and ensure the safety and legal recourse for women in Missouri who seek abortions.”

At Least 40 Christians Killed in Two Attacks in Kaduna State, Nigeria

In this week’s attack in Maro, the Fulani herdsmen also damaged church buildings and property, and the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) reported that many of its missionaries working among the area Adara (known as Kadara by the Hausa) and Katari ethnic groups have been displaced.

A boarding school for the missionaries’ children in Kufana town has been closed, said the Rev. Bakari Ibrahim, director of the ECWA’s Evangelical Missionary Society (EMS).

“Please pray for peace in Kaduna state – hundreds have been displaced and hundreds killed by the Fulani jihadists,” he told Morning Star News in a text message. “We evacuated about hundred EMS kids from Kufana for safety. Many of our missionaries working among the Kadara tribe and some in Katari areas have been displaced. Please keep praying for our nation.”

A women’s fellowship leader of the ECWA congregation in Maro who requested anonymity told Morning Star News that women were meeting at the church building when the herdsmen invaded.

“We ran out of the church building as the shooting was going on,” she said on Tuesday (Feb. 26). “Many have been killed, and I have not seen my family members since morning. I have escaped out of the area.”

Blogger Mercy Musa Swanta of Kaduna state wrote on Facebook that local residents offered some defense.

“The villagers stood against the Fulani who came fully clothed in military uniform,” she wrote. “But they had to withdraw due to high number and superior firepower of the Fulani. Mobile policemen came but also retreated, one operation Yaki [police] vehicle burnt. Military now engaging the Fulani. Battle still going on. Casualties unknown but could be high.”

At least 32 bodies had reportedly been buried at this writing, including that of a policeman, with many Christian residents still unaccounted for.

A spokesman for the governor said the government was saddened by the attack, and that security agencies were working to contain the aggression in Kajuru and neighboring Kachia County.

Attack in Angwan Barde

The Feb. 10 Muslim Fulani herdsmen attack on Angwan Barde that killed 11 people wounded five others, residents said.

Survivors told Morning Star News that armed herdsmen in large numbers surrounded the village at about 11 p.m. that Sunday night. Area resident Ja’afaru Samaila, 21, said by phone that the herdsmen killed five members of his family.

“We heard gun shots, and this forced me and my family to remain in our bedrooms as it was difficult for us to run out of the house,” he told Morning Star News. “The Fulani gunmen surrounded our house and were shooting and shouting, ‘Allahu akbar [God is greater].’ They killed my father, mother, two brothers, and one of my sisters-in-law.”

The village head of Angwan Barde, Daniel Audu, 48, told Morning Star News by phone that the attack came as a surprise as they’ve never had any problems with the herdsmen.

“We have never had any misunderstanding with the Fulani herdsmen, so I don’t know why they attacked our village,” Audu said. “Ten members of my community, including a pregnant woman, were killed during the attack, thus making the unborn child to be the eleventh victim.”

He identified those killed as John Abbah, Moses Kabiru, Philemon Gomna, Samaila Jonathan, Maria Abbah, Ladi Samaila, Mairo Daniel, Marvelous Daniel, John Samaila and Joseph Samaila, along with the unborn baby.

Christians make up 51.3 percent of Nigeria’s population, while Muslims living primarily in the north and middle belt account for 45 percent.

Nigeria ranked 12^th on Open Doors’ 2019 World Watch List of countries where Christians suffer the most persecution.

"INHERITANCE WILL BE OURS"

Mark 12:7 "But those vinedressers said among themselves, This is the heir! Come, let us kill him and the inheritance shall be ours".

Today in my usual Bible meditation this verse, especially the word "inheritance" touched me.

From January 20th, "Inheriting the Land" is the theme we are dealing with. Here in the above verse we see a word "inheritance".

Our enemy's goal is always one and the same . His eyes are fixed on "inheriting the land" . With this sole motive, he killed the "Son" because He was the heir. By killing the heir, he thought , the "inheritance" will become permanently his and he can establish his ruler ship on earth. But the stupid satan's schemes were all defeated thoroughly. By handing over Jesus to death, the Almighty Father shared the "inheritance" with the whole descendants of Adam permanently.

But the enemy still did not give up. He has done another mischief. He has blindfolded the eyes of the children of Adam to believe lies. Now the believers are not aware of their rights. Instead of inheriting the land in the name of Jesus, they bow down to the enemy giving their shoulders to captivity.

Many of them do not even know that the whole sale deed satan executed in the garden of Eden was cancelled on the cross and Jesus transferred it in name of Adam's descendants. By creating a scheme called "religion" the enemy has captured and put them in prison. The enemy makes them fight with each other, kill one another in the name of "religion" so that he can hold "inheritance" for some more time.

It is the duty of the children of God to break this scheme and inherit the land. Let us come forward!

God told that the month of February is going to be a month of miracles and he fulfilled the prophecy in Aurangabad M.H. For the meeting of 23^rd and 24^th February 2019, the team had booked a school. But one day before the meeting, they were informed that the venue could not be given to them. The team was sad, and they prayed and cried out to the Lord. Then, suddenly one brother came and said that they were getting a wedding hall bigger than the school. And to their surprise, the hall was being given for free. 245 people participated in the meeting.

Rajasthan

No one attended the West Zone RUB meets, so the zonal team were sad and prayed in the group. God heard their prayer and opened door in Rajasthan. Bro. Aravind conducted RUB in Rajasthan. Glory to Jesus.

One brother saw a vision of Jesus’ feet landing on the ground in their place. The Lord gave the grace and strength to the team to conduct the meeting.

Iran: Mounting Persecution of Christians

The persecution of Christians in Iran in 2018 increased to a new level, according to an in-depth report jointly released by Open Doors, Middle East Concern, Article 18, and Christian Solidarity Worldwide.

"The end of 2018 saw an unprecedented wave of raids on private house gatherings, leading to a large number of arrests. Many Christians received prison sentences, or had sentences upheld by the Court of Appeal," noted the report. Despite this roaring abuse, and violations and attacks against Christians being significantly ratcheted up, the international community continues to label the Iranian government, run by President Hassan Rouhani, as "moderate.

What is puzzling is that while the Iranian authorities boast that Christians and other religious minorities are treated fairly under Islam, the Iranian regime is, in fact, increasingly targeting Christians solely for daring peacefully to practice their faith. Even though these actions are frequently documented, their claims do not match up with the ever-increasing numbers of arrests and punishments suffered by those practicing a religion other than Islam. For example, in a single recent week, more than 100 Christians were arrested.

There was also an unprecedented "surge during November and December 2018 as arrests were reported in the cities of Ahvaz, Chalus, Damavand, Hamedan, Hashtgerd, Karaj, Mashhad, Rasht, Shahinshahr and Tehran. In one week alone, one hundred and fourteen Christians were reported to have been arrested."

Two of the Islamic Republic's state organs seem to responsible for initiating these violations against Christians. The Ministry of Intelligence and its affiliated agents carry out sophisticated surveillance of the Christian communities, and their actions are documented and recorded throughout their daily lives. The information is then passed to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a security service that has morphed into a terror group. As the Guardian reports:

"Prisoners are often tortured physically and mentally. They are subjected to near-daily interrogations, including prolonged beatings, and forced to endure twisted acts of persecution. While he was in prison, church teacher and ex-prisoner Morad recounted how the guards would bring him tea but not allow him to go to the bathroom. Ex-prisoners report sleep deprivation and threats of harm to family members -- as well as pressure to recant their faith."

The IRGC does not limit itself to individuals. It has repeatedly raided entire churches, shut them down, or confiscated the Christians' properties. As a result of this runaway torment, an increasing number of Christians have resorted to practicing their faith privately in their homes, a practice known as hosting "house churches". Even being in their own homes provides no safety: the IRCG continue to increase their crackdown on any Christian religious practice.

The regime's authorities then usually create trumped up charges against Christians such as, "endangering the national security" of the country. Shamiram Issavi Khabizeh, the wife of Rev. Victor Bet Tamraz, for instance, was sentenced to five years' imprisonment for "membership in a group with the purpose of disrupting national security." One objective of these kind of violations against Christians by Iran's Islamic forces seems to be to threaten and intimidate the entire Christian community, whose ancestors have lived in this country for thousands of years, to flee in fear of imprisonment, torture and death.

The Revolutionary Guards strategy seems to be to continue to apply pressure on the Christian community to decrease the number of Christians living in Iran, allowing the proportion of Muslims to increase, thereby affording the majority an even greater level of control. Another objective seems to be driving the practice of Christianity into the shadows. Their mistreatment not only keeps Christians on edge and terrified; it also prevents them from spreading their gospel in a public manner and adding others to their faith. The Iranian government views Christians who stay in the country as outsiders, so it treats them as such.

Under international law, the Iranian government has an obligation to respect freedom of religion. Yet, while the rights of Christians are being violated in Iran at an unprecedented level, how long will the international community remain silent? What will it take for these endlessly preening moralists to act against those human rights violations so that one day people will not have to hide their gospel, or live their daily lives in fear of severe persecution? If the Iranian government refuses to take steps to protect the rights and freedom of the Christians, these innocent people can only plead for humanitarian aid from the community outside their borders, in the hope that one day they might live in a land where their beliefs and prayers are not a reason for imprisonment and torture.

Constitutional Amendment Ends Abortion in Pro-Life States

Pro-life supporters and pro-life state and national leaders say state amendments recently passed in Alabama and West Virginia may be a way for states to deny abortions if Roe v. Wade is overturned in the future.

In November 2018, Alabama and West Virginia passed state constitutional amendments that deny the right to an abortion.

“It is the public policy of this state to recognize and support the sanctity of unborn life and the rights of unborn children, most importantly the right to life in all manners and measures appropriate and lawful,” Alabama’s state amendment says.

The Alabama amendment passed with some 60 percent of voters.

In West Virginia, a similar amendment passed with 52 percent of votes in favor.

“Victories in West Virginia and Alabama show that putting life right on the ballot and letting voters decide can be a valuable means of achieving greater protections for the unborn,” said Mallory Quigley of the national pro-life group, The Susan B. Anthony List.

Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Rhode Island and Tennessee all have state constitutional amendments denying the right to abortion.

Other states may also be looking to pass similar state amendments.

“Other states will likely consider similar measures, particularly Iowa, where a one-sentence neutrality amendment has already been introduced, and Kansas, in the event the state supreme court recognizes a right to abortion,” said Paul Linton, an attorney who worked with Americans United for Life.

lizabeth Slattery, legal fellow with the Heritage Foundation, said state amendments such as the ones Alabama and West Virginia recently passed “provide guidance” if Roe v. Wade is overturned.

“Thus, these state constitutional amendments are preemptive and would only take effect if the Supreme Court eliminated the federally recognized right to abortion,” she said.

Persecution Rising in China: And Things Could Get Worse

The steadily deteriorating state of religious freedom in China has been a frequent topic of late, both here on BreakPoint and other media outlets. The picture is bleak. An estimated one million Muslim Uighurs have been detained in what are essentially re-education camps, as part of an attempt to erase their religious and cultural identity.

There’s also been a strong assault on Chinese Christianity. What little freedom Chinese Christians had is now being taken away: Provincial officials have demolished crosses, cracked down on house churches, arrested pastors, and put officially-recognized churches under tighter control.

Thus, the recent report out of Liaoning province, a region near the border with North Korea, shouldn’t surprise us. It should trouble and appall us, but not surprise us.

According to the Australian website MercatorNet, the Education Bureau of Lishan district” in Liaoning “issued a plan for the campaign to resist religious beliefs in kindergartens.”

The plan prohibits schools from “hiring [new] teachers who hold religious beliefs.” With regard to existing teachers, it calls for increased supervision, including “comprehensive inspections of teachers’ preparation for lessons in order to root out any and all religious content.”

But the plan doesn’t stop with teachers. Students, as well as teachers, are now required to “sign a commitment statement promising they won’t browse religious websites or participate in religious forums.” The statement reads in part, “I will adhere to the correct political direction, advocate science, promote atheism, and oppose theism.”

These are kindergartners!

It’s not only in that province. Students in other parts of China have also been coerced into signing anti-religious pledges. And there are reports of students who, because they refused to sign, have been beaten.

Unfortunately, short of divine intervention, it may be that things will get significantly worse. As I’ve told you before on BreakPoint, Xi Jinping has become the most powerful Chinese leader since Mao. Like Mao, Xi has fostered a cult of personality. He calls himself lingxiu, a reverential term for “leader” not heard since the days of Mao. It’s very similar to what Fuehrer means in German. Fawning coverage of Xi in official media borders on self-parody.

Christians have been in the crosshairs of the Xi Jinping cult. Believers in south China have been forced to take down pictures of Jesus from their walls and replace them with pictures Xi Jinping.

Not only is he a jealous would-be god, he’s also an insecure one. To understand why, you need to understand that the source of the Communist Party’s legitimacy has been economic growth. For the past forty years, the Chinese people have been asked to trade certain freedoms that we take for granted, such as freedom of speech and religion, for increasing prosperity. That trade has preserved a measure of social order.

But now, many economists see signs that the good times are coming to an end in China. In fact, that may be an understatement. It could be something even worse. As the Wall Street Journal reports, “China’s consumers and businesses are losing confidence. Car sales have plunged. The housing market is stumbling. Some factories are letting workers off for the big Lunar New Year holiday two months early.”

In other words, the Communist Party may not be able to keep up its end of the bargain. If they fail, ordinary Chinese people could remember everything they’ve had to put up with and get angry. Very angry.

So how will Xi respond to this? We already know the answer to that question. He will crack down even harder. Cult leaders don’t admit mistakes, much less give up their power voluntarily. They look for scapegoats and hunt for heretics.

In China, Christians qualify as both. As adherents to what many Chinese regard as a “Western” religion, their loyalties can be called into question. And they’ll likely not join Xi’s cult of personality, so they will be ideal targets.

All of this is why our brothers and sisters there need our prayers. And our voice. We must urge our government and U. S. corporations that do business in China to use their influence on behalf of persecuted Chinese Christians.

Highly prized among men

Mark 8:33 "But after turning and looking at his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said, “Get behind me, Satan. You are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but on man’s.”

There are two things on earth we set our minds on.

Things that of God's interests
Things that of man's interests

Both are contrary to each other.

Luke 16:15 "But Jesus said to them, “........ For what is highly prized among men is utterly detestable in God’s sight."

How come man highly prize what is detestable to God?

Our human tendency is such that we often choose of man’s interest. When Adam was created, he was created, in the image of God. He had the same mind, desire, expectations, aspirations that of God.

Bug after failing in the test, his mind and heart became corrupt. He lost God's image in him and started begetting children in his own corrupt image.

Gen 5:3 "When Adam had lived 130 years he fathered a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and he named him Seth."

Jesus rectified this problem completely on the cross and renewed his real image in us. Whoever accepts Jesus and surrenders his life to Him, the Holy Spirit takes over and starts working at creating Jesus' image in him.

The moment we surrender, He takes over. This work of renewing of image will go on life long. As long as this process goes on, both God's mind and human mind, God's interest and human interest, will be there in each person in varying degrees till the end.

We should not be surprised when we see certain silly things of human interest even in the personality of great saints. If we underestimate them because we find things of human interests in them, we will be wrong. We should look at the cause they are standing for.

The ratio of growth of the work of the Holy Spirit in us will be in proportion to the level of our complete surrendering to Him. Since man has free will, our human nature will always rebel with the Holy Spirit in getting full freedom to go on by his own/ way.

We need abundant grace to surrender fully, all the areas of our mind to the Lord always.

‘God Wanted' Trump to be President, say 45 Percent of GOP voters

One-fourth of registered voters believe God wanted Donald Trump to be president, although the breakdown -- perhaps not surprisingly -- is partisan.

A full 25 percent of voters say they believe God wanted Trump to be president, while 62 percent disagree and 14 percent don’t know, according to a new Fox News survey.

Forty-five percent of Republicans and 9 percent of Democrats believe God wanted it.

Among white evangelicals, 55 percent say God wanted Trump to win. That number falls to 36 percent among all Protestants and 20 percent among Catholics, Fox News reported.

The question was asked in light of White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders telling CBN: “I think God calls all of us to fill different roles at different times and I think that he wanted Donald Trump to become president, and that's why he’s there.”

The survey sparked more than 5,000 comments on Fox News’ Facebook page.

“Election night was a very supernatural night...too many people were praying for a miracle and we saw it unfold,” one person wrote.

Another person took exception to the poll’s wording, saying that God appoints all leaders, Trump included.

“Romans 13,” the person wrote, quoting Scripture, “let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.”

But some didn’t believe God played a role.

“I guess God also wanted Trump to grab women, cheat on his wives, insult 24/7 on twitter, etc... Gotcha!” a reader wrote.

The poll’s findings are in line with another survey by the Public Religion Research Institute, NBC noted. That poll found that 28 percent of adults believed God played a “major role” in the 2016 election and 13 percent a “minor role.”

The Fox News question mentioned Sanders in the survey. The question read: “A White House spokesperson said she believes God wanted Donald Trump to become president -- what about you -- do you believe God wanted Donald Trump to become president, or don’t you believe that?” The survey was based on interviews with 1,004 registered voters and conducted Feb. 10-12.

‘We’re Not Allowed to Print Anything’ about Jesus, Chinese Print Shop Tells Church

Christians in China’s Henan province hoping to celebrate the New Year with Christ-centered calendars learned in recent days that such items are prohibited.

A member of De’en Church in the district of Xigong told Bitter Winter that his congregation prepared a calendar for members but was told by a local printer that faith-based calendars are banned by the government.

Bitter Winter, which follows stories about the persecuted church in China, visited two print shops. Both said they would not print Christian material.

“A desk calendar or a picture to hang on the wall -- we’re not allowed to print anything if it has any content related to Jesus,” the owner of the small print shop told Bitter Winter.

Government officials from the Bureau for Industry and Commerce “frequently” visit the shop, the owner said.

“They have always prohibited us from printing such things,” the owner said. “If they discover that we have printed religion-related items, the government will punish us according to the quantity printed. Now, the control is even stricter. If anyone dares to print religious materials secretly and is caught, in minor cases, they will be fined, and their shops will be closed down; in severe cases, they will face the prospect of being detained.”

The manager of a medium-sized print shop agreed.

“The government doesn’t allow printing of materials related to religions like Buddhism and Christianity. Sometimes, a small printing house secretly prints religious materials. As soon as the government catches them, a fine will be imposed. Formal print shops never dare to print [religious materials],” the manager told Bitter Winter. “If anyone is found [to have printed religious materials], they will be fined a large amount of money. The print shops that have been cracked down on and forcibly closed are not in the minority.”

Insect Apocalypse: The Global Food Chain at Risk

Scientists are calling it "the insect apocalypse", and it has extremely serious implications for the future of our planet. All over the globe, insect populations are plummeting dramatically. And since insects are at the very foundation of the global food chain, that is really bad news for all of us.

In fact, one expert described what is happening to the global insect population as "hyper-alarming". If we continue down the path that we are currently on, a bleak, apocalyptic future for our planet is all but assured.

When scientist Brad Lister recently returned to the Luquillo rainforest in Puerto Rico, he quickly realized that something was very, very wrong. And once his team began taking measurements, they discovered that 98 percent of the insect population on the ground was completely gone...

"We knew that something was amiss in the first couple days," said Brad Lister. "We were driving into the forest and at the same time both Andres and I said: 'Where are all the birds?' There was nothing."

His return to the Luquillo rainforest in Puerto Rico after 35 years was to reveal an appalling discovery. The insect population that once provided plentiful food for birds throughout the mountainous national park had collapsed. On the ground, 98% had gone. Up in the leafy canopy, 80% had vanished.

But if this was just happening in Puerto Rico, it definitely would not be a global crisis.

Unfortunately, similar numbers are coming in from all over the planet...

Flying insect numbers in Germany's natural reserves have plunged 75% in just 25 years. The virtual disappearance of birds in an Australian eucalyptus forest was blamed on a lack of insects caused by drought and heat. Lister and his colleague Andrés García also found that insect numbers in a dry forest in Mexico had fallen 80% since the 1980s.

"We are essentially destroying the very life support systems that allow us to sustain our existence on the planet, along with all the other life on the planet," Lister said. "It is just horrifying to watch us decimate the natural world like this."

And one study that looked at data from the entire world concluded that there has been "a 45 percent drop in the abundance of invertebrates"...

Worldwide, a 2014 summary of global declines in biodiversity and abundance estimated a 45 percent drop in the abundance of invertebrates, most of which are insects. And many individual species and species groups are declining or even being threatened with extinction, from bumblebees in Europe and the United States to fungus weevils in Africa.

Without insects, we would have an exceedingly difficult time trying to survive on this planet. I really like how a Scientific American article made this point...

Insects pollinate a spectrum of plants, including many of those that humans rely on for food. They also are key players in other important jobs including breaking dead things down into the building blocks for new life, controlling weeds and providing raw materials for medicines.

And they provide sustenance for a spectrum of other animals--in fact, the Puerto Rico study showed a decline in density of insect-eating frogs, birds and lizards that paralleled the insect nosedive.

As the planetary food chain systematically breaks down, we can rely on the artificial food chains that we have created for a while, but once things get bad enough those artificial food chains will not be nearly enough to feed the entire planet.

And it isn't just invertebrates that are seeing their populations collapse.

Vertebrate populations are collapsing too, and according to one recent report they are down "an average of 60 percent since 1970"...

The population of the planet's vertebrates has dropped an average of 60 percent since 1970, according to a report by the WWF conservation organization.

The most striking decline in vertebrate population was in the tropics in South and Central America, with an 89 percent loss compared to 1970. Freshwater species have also significantly fallen -- down 83 percent in that period.

Vertebrates include all mammals, fish, birds, amphibians and reptiles. Needless to say, a 60 percent decline in less than 50 years is absolutely horrific, and essentially what we are facing is a slow-motion global cataclysm.

So what would a planet without insects look like?

Well, according to Francisco Sánchez-Bayo of the University of Sydney, millions upon millions of birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish would "starve to death"...

One of the biggest impacts of insect loss is on the many birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish that eat insects. "If this food source is taken away, all these animals starve to death," he said. Such cascading effects have already been seen in Puerto Rico, where a recent study revealed a 98% fall in ground insects over 35 years.

And without bees and other pollinators, humans would be in a world of hurt. You may have heard that Albert Einstein once said the following...

"If the bee disappeared off the face of the Earth, man would only have four years left to live."

With that statement in mind, I would like for you to consider what this new study discovered about the decline of bee colonies in the United States...

The study suggested that bee species in the UK, Denmark, and North America have taken major hits -- bumblebees, honey bees, and wild bee species are all declining. In the US, the number of honey-bee colonies dropped from 6 million in 1947 to 2.5 million just six decades later.

We aren't there yet, but a food chain cataclysm is literally right around the corner.

God answered prayer for the land

Today in my prayer, the Lord showed this verse.

"They buried the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son in the country of Benjamin in Zela, in the tomb of Kish his father: and they performed all that the king commanded. After that, God answered prayer for the land".2 Samuel 21:14

This verse of the Bible was not of much importance to me so far. But today it spoke to me a lot.

There might be certain unaccomplished duties in your life. Till you accomplish them, the blessings which are due to you, cannot enter into your life. Whether it is earthly blessings or spiritual blessings, the same law binds.

God is the Supreme judge of all. He makes the sun rise and the rain pour on all the good and the evil. Denying others their rights, or snatching away their dues are wrong.

If we deny justice to anyone, it will be credited in our account. Until we pay back, we are in debt.

2 Sa 21:1,2 "There was a famine in the days of David for three years, year after year; …Saul sought to kill them in his zeal for the children of Israel and Judah).

Even though the Gibeonites were gentiles who deceived Joshua and the Israelites, (Jos 9:3-21) Joshua had made a covenant with them in the name of the Lord (Jos 9:19) and promised to spare their lives.

Saul violated it. This became a curse not only on the king, but upon the whole kingdom of Israel. Even after the death of Saul, the curse passed on to the next king and kingdom. Until David sought to find the reason and did rectification, the Israelites suffered a famine every year in their land.

Unidentified, unconfessed, unrectified sins become "curses".

They can be found in a person, in a family, in a village, in a country as a whole. They have to be identified and broken in the name of Jesus.

There are many curses in our land which have to be identified and broken in the name of Jesus. Those who come forward to do this can enjoy the blessings of this land in abundance.

Is 1:19 "If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land".

How to Gain Control of Your Kids’ Smartphone: Without Losing Your Kids’ Hearts

The biggest pain point for many parents is—you guessed it—smartphones. Should our kids own them? If so, how do we keep them from owning our kids?

A typical family with mom and dad and 2 kids will spend, between monthly contracts, hardware, and apps, around three to four thousand dollars a year on smartphones. And what do they get for this significant financial investment?

According to David Eaton of Axis, most parents report feeling utterly defeated by them. They are causes of frustration and worry, and they get in the way of conversation and eye contact. And they are the cause of a yelling match, whenever a parent tries to bring them under control.

Do we own our smartphones? Or do they own us?

It doesn’t take a PhD in social science to realize that smartphones are one of the primary pain points for modern families. Of course, they’re not all bad. Smartphones enable us to keep tabs on our kids. Smartphones allow our kids to contact us in case of an emergency. They provide navigation help, safe banking options, etc, etc etc. Not to mention, these amazing devices allow grandparents and other long-distance family members to keep in touch, real time, and be more of a part of our kids’ lives.

On the other hand, smartphones put our kids at risk. Because of smartphones, sexting is now for many a normal part of high school. As Eaton told me recently, girls at a Christian school where Axis was presenting expressed that they wished the boys there would ask them for nude pics. In other words, in the smartphone era, this is how the girls know they’re wanted.

We all know the list of risks smartphones bring to our kids: sexual predators, online porn, cyber-bullying – not to mention, as if I need to state the obvious, addiction. Smartphones provide a perpetual distraction, and get in the way of face time – no, not the iPhone app – real face to face time, something every kid needs with their parents. And if most of us parents are honest, we’re just as addicted as our kids.

Even if our kids don’t have smartphones, their friends do. We might have our own homes locked down pretty tightly, but not everyone does. So many of the risks are still there.

My guess is that I haven’t shared anything new. One of the most frustrating things about dealing with these ever-present glowing rectangles is that we know the impact they have on our kids. We don’t like it. But we also know that if we bring it up, it can lead to a fight.

Is it possible to “reboot” your family when it comes to smartphones and the role they play in our lives? Is it possible to plan ahead, so if our kids are young, we enter the smartphone season with a plan? And most of all, can we do it without going crazy, without the stress, without the fight, without the deception… without losing our kids’ hearts?

The answer is yes, but before I tell you how I know that, we need to agree: It’s not an option to send our kids into this smartphone saturated world without our help. To do that is foolish. And it’s not an option to think we can keep our kids away from smartphones forever. They could always borrow one from a friend.

The solution is to use the challenge of smartphones to facilitate the mentoring kids need. The team at Axis has identified 100 different conversations that parents can have with their children about smartphones

Nurse Who Was Fired for Telling Patients about Jesus Has Name Cleared

A British nurse who was fired for telling patients about her Christian faith was cleared last week following a two-year investigation.

“I would … reassure them, based on the joy and peace that I really have found in Jesus,” she said.

“All I had done was to nurse and care for patients,” she said. “How could it ever be harmful to tell someone about Jesus?”

But last week, the NMC dropped the restrictions, clearing her name. The NMC ruled, “It is in the public interest to return an otherwise experienced and competent nurse into practice.”

She was represented by the Christian Legal Centre.

Peace restored in heart: One of the troop members said, for the past two weeks peace is restored in the heart. Previously I used to worry about my work, family and everything. Now during prayer and even while sleeping, God’s words are lingering in my mind.

Healed of pain and swelling: one patient came to our hospital with unbearable pain and swelling in the joints. She kept crying. She couldn’t move her hands and fingers properly out of pain. When the Gospel was shared and prayers were offered to her she refused. But anyway, the troop member was reminded to pray for her in the night. The next day when the patient came to collect her reports told that she was completely relieved of pain after talking to the troop member, the previous day itself. It is unexplainable how Jesus loves people.

Found Peace: One of our troop members who used to pray to Mary and Antony before, after seeking Jesus she is now able to feel the peace at home and among children. She is feeling happy reading The Bible.

One Child was recommended reduced dose of medication after prayers. One troop church family member’s marriage has come to be arranged after prayer and attending BFF.

FRP in Udumalpet was held on Jan 25, 26. More than 70 participants attended. The hand of the Lord was there. Pastors and their families attended. Forgiveness message touched everyone powerfully. After the message was over immediately they called over the phone and got reconciled with others.

Many understood about the strong holds within them and their strong holds were broken in Jesus name. A sister received healing from the leg pain. Many understood about troop church. Believers are surprised that the Lord will even use them. There is a big revival in the hearts of youth. All Glory to Jesus alone.

There was an opportunity to share the gospel with the children who attended FRP and the Lord opened their eyes. Many saw Jesus in the visions. The Lord also revealed many glorious revivals in Udumalpet and India through these children.

The Army of Jesus family gathered together for a two-day meeting at Charles Elderly Community, Chennai to equip themselves and equip others for the fulfillment of the vision 2020. Participants from four states and one union territory attended the program. They were Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka Tamil Nadu, Telengana and Pondicherry (UT) respectively. Sr. Angelica shared the Message for 2019 and the Lord’s plan for inheriting the land by families. She took the participants across the time frame, on how each year has turned out to be on the way to the fulfillment of the vision 2020 prophecy. She reminded the participants that the steps mentioned as a part of Message 2019 was crucial in completing the vision.

This was followed by a series of group and individual acts of forgiveness, binding the words of the devil and sanctification. The country, the state, the family and the individual became the focus of rebuilding the nation through acts of binding, prophesying and worship. The participants together declared their God-given authority by making declarations towards the health of the land, rivers, the condition of children and God’s plan for the nation as revealed in the word of God. The participants were asked to identify demonic doorways in their regions and bind and destroy their works. Participants actively took part in planning future Rise and Build meetings. The various sessions of the program were led by different teachers. The event ended with the worship at NWC and followed by tea and sharing.

The Lord responded to the call of his children by revealing visions during worship. Sol. Anthony and Sol. Dinesh steered the event successfully with the advice of the Sisters, along with an able team of volunteers. Dr. Benedict and the team at CEC provided ample support for the event, with other members pitching in hospitality, transport and food. God in his abundant mercy and goodness provided strength, wisdom and protection to all involved during the program.

Does The Great Commission Exclude Teaching On Prophecy?

The prevailing mindset of many Bible-believing pastors today is that eschatology, or the study of future things, is not only separate from the preaching of Gospel but detracts from it. They maintain that our task of fulfilling the Great Commission excludes teaching on prophecy, which they believe only confuses believers and stirs up unwelcome controversy. Is this way of thinking biblical? No, it is not. This represents a myopic way of viewing both the commands and teachings of Jesus, who highlighted "eternal life" as the result of belief in Him and commanded His followers to watch for His return.

Let's explore these things in more detail.

JESUS EMPHASIZED ETERNAL LIFE

Jesus emphasized eternity throughout His earthly ministry. The Gospel of John records at least a dozen instances where Jesus promised "eternal life" to those who believe in Him. We are all familiar with John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." The foundation of the Gospel is the promise of eternal life versus the fate of everlasting punishment in hell.

Jesus did not die on the cross just so we would have a terrific Christian life in this uncertain world filled with sorrow and heartache; He sacrificed His life so we could receive eternal life with physical and imperishable bodies, reign with Him in a spectacular kingdom, and spend a glorious eternity with Him.

Many Bible-based preachers love to criticize Joel Osteen for his book, Your Best Life Now, but then reflect that precise idea with teaching that emphasizes Christian living in this life with only fleeting references to eternity. Does this not such preaching leave those listening with the singular hope of being a joyous and "good Christian" in the here and now? Where is the hope in that amidst a fallen world?

It's the specifics of our hope of heaven that encourage us each morning as we step out of bed to face a daunting and evil world. The "now-based" preaching that fails to do more than briefly mention the glories ahead for us in eternity does little, if anything, to console us in the midst of tragedy. It's the details of the Lord's return and our joyous eternity in heaven that comfort us in the midst of sorrow and provide bright hope for tomorrow.

JESUS INSTRUCTED US TO WATCH FOR HIS RETURN

Those who believe that teaching about future things detracts from the Great Commission ignore the other commands of Jesus, especially in the one in Matthew 24:44 where He said, "Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect." Jesus again stressed the need for watchfulness in 25:13, "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour." The Lord commanded us to both be ready and watch for His return. What does such watching imply? Jesus provides the answer to that in Matthew 16:1-4 where He chides the Pharisees for not recognizing the signs that He, the Messiah, was already with them. He blamed them for not knowing the Old Testament signs of His first coming. Does He not also expect that we also know and recognize the signs of His coming? I believe He does.

In Matthew 24, Jesus gave us many signs of the end of this age so we could recognize the nearness of His coming and not miss the signs as did the Pharisees. In Luke 21:28 He added this, "Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." Jesus expects us as His followers to be watching for these signs so we will recognize the season of His return and look up with eager anticipation. This is now!

Those who compare the signs given to us in Scripture with current events are not performing an unnecessary task that diverts attention from fulfilling the Great Commission. They are obeying Jesus' command to watch for His coming.

JESUS TAUGHT ABOUT PROPHECY AFTER HIS RESURRECTION

Jesus stressed at least two things after His resurrection. First, He emphasized how He fulfilled prophecy (Luke 24:26-27, 44-47) and in doing so instructed His followers "about the kingdom of God" (Acts 1:3). Second, He told His followers to proclaim the Gospel (Acts 1:8). What was the response of His disciples to His teaching during this time? They asked Him this question just before He ascended back to heaven; "Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel" (Acts 1:6)? Why would they ask this question if Jesus had not talked about this matter during the forty days when He emphasized "the kingdom of God?"

Jesus' teaching caused the thoughts of His disciples to race ahead to the time when they would rule with Christ in His kingdom. They expected Jesus to immediately fulfill the promise He made to them earlier, "Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel" (Matt. 19:28). Their timing was off, but not their ultimate hope. There is one instruction in the Great Commission that I rarely hear mentioned in sermons on the Great Commission. The majority of messages on it overlook a key instruction embedded in it, ". . . teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you" (Matt. 28:20). Would this not also include the command of Jesus to watch for His return? I think so.

As we will see in the ministry of the Apostle Paul, he taught his new converts all about Jesus' imminent return as well as the future day of the Lord. While C.S. Lewis might not agree with me on everything regarding my views on eschatology, he would agree with my connecting the dots between Jesus' command for us to watch and our urgency to proclaim the Gospel. Notice what he said on this topic:

If you read history you will find that the Christians who did most for the present world were just those who thought most of the next. The apostles themselves, who set on foot the conversion of the Roman Empire, the great men who built up the Middle Ages, the English Evangelicals who abolished the Slave Trade, all left their mark on Earth, precisely because their minds were occupied with Heaven. It is since because Christians have largely ceased to think of the other world that they have become so ineffective in this.

You see, we do not detract from the Great Commission through our emphasis on Jesus' soon appearing and the signs of the times. Quite the contrary! Such an emphasis intensifies both the importance and urgency to reach the lost. And, many are turning to Christ today precisely because they see how God fulfilled prophecy with the first coming of Jesus and recognize that He is doing it again with His Second Coming!

Put all things under His feet

A boy who approached a magician to find a solution for his problems was telling me,

"Sister, do you know what he said, I am scared to tell you this, "Become a Christian; that is the solution for your problems. We can help you to some extent with the power we have. But for a permanent solution, only Jesus can help you. That is a power we cannot go near." He was looking around when he said that.

Mark 6:48 "And He saw them toiling in rowing, for the wind was contrary to them. And about the fourth watch of the night He came toward them walking on the sea”

Disciples were toiling in rowing because the wind blew strong against them. In the same sea, Jesus was walking towards them and crossed them.

Jesus when He received the anointing of the Holy Spirit, everything was placed under His feet. The disciples were yet to receive the Holy Spirit. They had to toil for everything. Toil against the wind, toil to get a good catch of fish etc.

For many, survival itself is a toil. But for the sons of God, it is not! Jesus has given authority to the sons of God to trample under foot anything that raises its head against him or rebel against him.

The sea, wind, evil spirits, nature, everything was under Jesus’ feet. He could walk even on the raging sea.

1Co 15:27 "For He put all things under His feet."

Jesus Christ handed over this authority to the sons of God who have accepted Jesus Christ!

Hence, legally everything is under our feet now. It is the duty of the sons of God to exercise this authority and take victory over everything.

Christians should be able to handle any problem that comes across in life smoothly and gain victory because Jesus is with them. Jesus can cancel any G.O, sale deed, court order, election result, exam result, x-ray report, scan report, court verdict and rewrite it! Nobody can question Him!

Let us exercise the authority Jesus has given us and trample under foot any hindrances that come across our life! Be a war horse!

Transformation India Project was successfully held in the state of Karnataka on 26th and 27th January. It was arranged by Sol. Roopesh and AOJ Karnataka team in the village is situated near Hassan city on the way to Chikmagalur. More than thirty people attended. Sol. Johnson and me from Chennai along with AOJ Bangalore team conducted the program.

The place is very fertile with extensive areas. The land is irrigated by Yagachi River and Yagachi dam; there are many ponds and water bodies nearby. The water bodies are not polluted. There are many Areca nut plantations. People also sow rice and ragi. Ginger, tomato, corn and other vegetables are common.

On our way to Kamenahalli we stopped for food at Guntanelli, we visited a field near they used modern techniques for farming. We visited Mr Deepu who worked there; he gave a lot of valuable information about drip irrigation and other modern techniques they used to improve the yield. He was very happy to welcome and teach us. As I was used to the Chennai culture, I paid him for his help which he rejected promptly. Sol Roopesh was explaining that people from this area are very righteous and kind in their deeds so God has blessed them abundantly. But due to idol worship many people are suffering from some kind of chronic disease.

The believers in Kamenahalli village were very humble and friendly; many of them have attended BFF in Bangalore. They are already doing a good job in agriculture. Many of them were under alcohol addiction but after BFF, they began a new life. They have had some difficulty in conducting Troop Church but after TIP program they were encouraged and assured us that they will conduct Troop Church regularly.

The people although good at agriculture did not enjoy the full yield of their work, they were not aware of the Biblical principles of farming; they were using a large quantity of pesticides. Some of the points they learned during TIP program are

Love your neighbor as yourself
There should be no poor among you
The land belongs to the lord
Break the curse on the land
Take authority over the land
Avoid pesticides
Give a portion of the profit to the needy
Give rest to the land

Conduct Troop Church regularly

On the first day of the program we taught the subject “go and do likewise” and ten points of natural farming, we also held practical. The next day the group was split into four groups and troop church was conducted, the believers were very happy and were encouraged. Many gave testimony about the greatest commandment of Jesus.

The grace of Jesus was there with us throughout the program. After the program, people gave many testimonies. They said that they never knew that the land was under curse and the fact that we need to take authority over the land. Real blessing comes by helping the poor. Many shared the vision about increased yield of the land, some said the devil was running away from the area. The believers were convicted to take the program to other villages and to conduct troop church regularly. Some practical ideas were also given to them regarding becoming an entrepreneur under PST program. We thank Jesus for all the grace he provided throughout the program. All glory to Jesus. Amen.

The World without Christianity: “Unimaginable”

A couple of years ago, Jeremiah Johnston and his wife binge-watched the HBO series “The Man in the High Castle.” The series is set in a world where Nazi Germany and Japan won World War II and now occupy the United States.

It’s a world where euthanasia is mandatory, and the ashes of victims fall on passersby. In other words, it’s a world without Christianity, not to mention Judaism.

After watching the series, Johnston’s wife told him that he needed to write about what they had just watched. He did, and the result is his outstanding book, “Unimaginable: What the World Would Be Like Without Christianity.”

But Johnston’s book is not about a fictional world like the “The Man in the High Castle.” His book is straight out of history, about the real world that Christianity replaced—a pagan world that is showing signs of a comeback in this post-Christian age.

Johnston introduces us to the world in which Christianity was born, and eventually transformed. He tells the story of Hilarion, an otherwise-unremarkable Roman citizen who had traveled to Egypt. He writes to his pregnant wife that he may not make it home in time for the birth. So he wishes her “good luck” and then tells her what to do when the child is born: “If it is a boy, keep it; if it is a girl, throw it out.”

As I said, there was nothing remarkable about Hilarion or his attitude towards his soon-to-be-born child. As Johnston tells us, “…in the first-century Roman world . . . killing an unwanted child was no big deal.” He quotes the philosopher Seneca, who wrote: “Unnatural progeny we destroy; we drown even children who at birth are weak or abnormal.”

Into this world came Christianity, whose teaching and practice was 180 degrees from that of the surrounding societies. The early second century Christian document known as “the “Didache” told Christians “Do not murder a child by abortion, nor kill it at birth.” The Epistle of Barnabas, which dates from a few decades later, similarly said “Do not murder a child by abortion, nor, again, destroy that which is born.”

Believe it or not, infanticide is just one example of the cruelty and callousness that characterized the ancient world. Anyone who wasn’t a nobleman—emphasis on the “man”—was a potential, and often actual, victim of this same kind of cruelty: infants, women, slaves, and the poor to name but a few.

Against this backdrop, Paul’s declaration that “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” had the potential to turn the world upside down.

And that’s exactly what it did. It took time, and there were fits and starts, but Christianity made the world we now take for granted, possible.

As Johnston tells readers, the West’s rejection of Christianity threatens to undo this world. For those who scoff at such an idea, he lays out the recent historical record, which isn’t pretty. Evils such as scientific racism, which posits that some groups are inherently inferior to others, eugenics, and its ultimate expression, the Third Reich, all have their origins in worldviews that rejected Christianity.

He reminds us that these literally godless worldviews have left a body count in the hundreds of millions: the Holocaust, Stalin’s victims, the killing fields of Cambodia, and the estimated seventy million Chinese who died under Mao.

Given this historical record, it is unimaginable that we should want to revert to a world prior to Christianity. Or at last it should be unimaginable. That’s why I can’t recommend the book “Unimaginable” highly enough. It’s a book that every Christian interested in worldview, and, especially those who aren’t, should have in their library. 3 Arrested after 7-Year-Old Boy Dies from Punishment for Not Knowing Bible Verses

Three people have been arrested in Wisconsin for the death of a 7-year-old boy after they allegedly punished him for failing to memorize a list of Bible verses.

According to Fox News, 7-year-old Ethan was in Timothy and Tina Hauschultz care when they, along with their 15-year-old son, forced him to hold a log weighing nearly 50 pounds for two hours every day for a week.

The Medical Examiner determined that the 15-year-old hit and kicked Ethan around 100 times and put Ethan’s head in a puddle before rolling the 44-pound log on his chest and standing on his head and body. The teen then buried Ethan under a pile of snow causing him to die from hypothermia and blunt force trauma in April of 2018.

Fox News reports that the 15-year-old confessed to police that he was tasked with overseeing Ethan and his twin brother’s punishments. Reportedly, both children were undergoing this cruel treatment because they were unable to memorize 13 Bible verses selected by Timothy.

The relationship between the Ethan and the Hauschultz is not known at this time, but Ethan and two of his siblings, including his twin, were placed under the guardianship of the Hauschultz by court-appointment.

As the incident was unfolding, Ethan’s birth mother, Andrea Everett, was called to the scene, and upon arriving she learned that her son was dead.

She told Fox News, “When I got there Ethan did not have a heartbeat and his temperature was 23 degrees. They worked on him for five hours, giving him CPR the entire time, and still couldn't get a heartbeat. There was no brain activity."

Everett is seeking justice for the death of her son.

Timothy Hauschultz, 48, has been charged with felony murder and felony contributing to the delinquency of a child. Tina Hauschultz, 35, has been charged with failing to prevent bodily harm and intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child. The 15-year-old has been charged with first-degree reckless homicide and he and his father face several additional charges.

The War between Wars: Israel's Battle against The Iranian-Shiite Axis

The "War Between Wars" is an ongoing Israeli military and intelligence effort to disrupt the force build-up of the Iranian-Shiite axis throughout the Middle East. This campaign, which has evolved into an entire force activation doctrine, has seen the Israeli defense establishment employ an approach that differentiates between Syria and Lebanon.

Israel's low-profile military campaign against the Iranian-Shiite axis in Syria is continuing despite changes in the geo-strategic environment. But the use of Israeli air power to disrupt enemy force build-up has yet to cross into Lebanon. It is possible that this could represent one of the most significant regional escalation scenarios in the near future.

In Syria, Israel launches frequent intelligence-fueled air strikes that target Iranian military build-up sites. The strikes also destroy Iranian weapon transfers that use Syria as a transit zone on their way to Hezbollah bases in Lebanon.

The scope of Israel's preventative air strike campaign in Syria is enormous, as recently outlined by former IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot. Eisenkot told the New York Times that Israeli jets had fired 2,000 air-to-ground munitions at targets in Syria in 2018 alone.

This has clearly disrupted Iran's plans to build a Shiite army in Syria under its command, made up of 100,000 militia members. Iran was also planning to build missile factories, launch sites, weapons storage facilities, and a network of cross-border attack positions along Syria's border with Israel.

The January 12, 2019 Israeli air strike on Damascus international airport, apparently targeting a depot housing Iranian-made Fajr 5 rockets and other projectiles, is the latest indication of Jerusalem's determination to enforce its red lines in Syria against the entrenchment of a radical Shiite axis.

Commentators have eulogized the "War Between Wars," claiming that it cannot withstand Russian pressure and the growing risk of conflict with a reconstituting Syrian state. They are underestimating Israeli resoluteness. Israel's military high command and cabinet are both fully committed to the objective of denying Iran a military foothold in Syria. According to the logic of that objective, the long-term cost of allowing Iran the opportunity to build a second war front on Israel's border, alongside the Iranian attack base already in place in Lebanon, would be higher than any fallout from "War Between Wars" strikes.

In Lebanon, however, Israel employs a very different approach. Hezbollah, Iran's primary proxy in the region, enjoys a monopoly of military and political power in Lebanon, with the help of the Iranian Quds Force. The Hezbollah-Iran axis has imported some 130,000 projectiles into Lebanon, turning the country into one big rocket launching base aimed at Israel. This represents an exponential jump compared to the 10,000 rockets that were in Hezbollah's arsenal on the eve of the Second Lebanon War in 2006. Most of the projectiles in Hezbollah's inventory are unguided, and Iran has made a new push in recent months to deliver guidance systems to the group. These would enable Hezbollah to convert some of its projectiles into precision-guided missiles, which could be used to strategically threaten vital Israeli targets like airports, seaports, power plants, military bases, and high-profile buildings.

Israel's determination to stop Hezbollah from upgrading its firepower in this way found expression on September 17, when Israeli fighter jets struck an Iranian shipment of guidance kit components near Latakia, on the Syrian coastline. That strike triggered massive Syrian anti-aircraft fire, bringing down a Russian intelligence aircraft and killing 15 crew members. The incident sparked a major Russian-Israeli crisis that has yet to be resolved.

The Iranians then appeared to switch tactics, flying guidance components in cargo flights directly into Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport.

At the end of September last year, PM Netanyahu and the IDF Spokesman's Unit exposed the existence of multiple underground sites for the conversion of unguided rockets into precision missiles. One of the sites was adjacent to the airport. "Hezbollah's senior members took a deliberate decision to shift the center of gravity of the precision missile project, which they have been working on for a while, to the civilian area in the heart of Beirut," the IDF stated on September 27.

Three months after these warnings, Netanyahu said at the end of December 2018 that Hezbollah had shut down these conversion centers, adding that the organization has, "at most, a few dozen precision-guided missiles" at this time.

Netanyahu said that Israel's security forces have stopped Hezbollah from possessing thousands of such missiles. These developments illustrate the fact that unlike in Syria, Israel is deeply reluctant to employ air power in Lebanon to enforce its red lines, and prefers to rely on messaging and deterrence through speeches and the media as well as through potential alleged activities that are more discreet than air power. This is an indication that mutual deterrence between Israel and Hezbollah remains in effect. An unwritten agreement between Israel and Hezbollah began to crystallize in 2014, after Israel allegedly struck a Hezbollah weapons convoy on the Syrian-Lebanese border and Hezbollah set off border bombs that targeted an IDF convoy traveling in Har Dov, causing damage but no injuries.

Following the incident, Nasrallah said in an interview that Israeli attacks in or near Lebanon would draw rapid retaliation, hinting that this was not the case regarding strikes in Syria. This quiet understanding would become irrelevant if Lebanon becomes the site of precision missile conversion operations. Israel's multiple warnings to Nasrallah and his Iranian backers have delivered that message.

Hezbollah, for its part, felt the need to replenish its own deterrence against Israel by releasing a video at the start of December with Google Earth satellite images and coordinates of sensitive targets across Israel, threatening strikes against them. The video included a snippet from a speech by Nasrallah in which he warned that his organization "will respond" if Israel hits targets in Lebanon. The ability of Israel and Hezbollah to apparently defuse the "Lebanese [precision] missile crisis" of 2018 without going to war is no guarantee that they will repeat such a de-escalation this year.

It seems safe to assume that the newly appointed IDF Chief of Staff, Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kochavi, who has monitored Hezbollah's force build-up both as Northern Command chief and as Military Intelligence commander, will remain busy with this issue during his term. For now, Israel has been able to enforce its red lines on precision missile production in Lebanon through the use of deterrence and messaging. It remains unclear whether those same tactics will be effective the next time the Iranian axis tries to set up precision missile factories on Lebanese soil.

Look for the one that is lost!

Two days ago I met a brother who shared his experience with me.

"I was invited to preach in a local church at Delhi, some years ago. We, as a whole family went there,. It was an hour and a half journey from our place. The church programme went on very well and we came back happy. But that very night the Lord asked me a question ;

'Will you pour buckets of water to a huge dead tree ?

I didn't know what it meant!

Then the Lord clarified 'it is better to give mugs of water to little living plants.'

Soon I understood that the huge dead tree represents the churches which have no life, they gather there for the sake of gathering. They conduct programs for the sake of programmes . God has rejected such churches who don't go out to

Share the Gospel with the unbelieving community!"

Luke 15:4 “Which one of you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, would not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go look for the one that is lost until he finds it?

2019 is the year the Church has to go and look for the one that is lost until it finds them!

Soldiers of the Army! This is a critical time for India, the appropriate time to bring back all the lost souls into the Church, not into an organization, but Troop Churches! Let us plant it everywhere, (house to house ) It needs only mugs of water! No finance, land, building, tithes etc. Only a good heart to love people and to bring them to Salvation.

The Rise of the New & Unknown Caliphate

Historically the universal caliphate came to an end in 1924 when Mustafa Kemal Atatürk secularized Turkey. Notwithstanding the ominous and pretentious claim of the Islamic State in 2014, there is in fact a global organization which not only represents Muslims throughout the world but subtly is diffusing Islamic draconian tenets, too, with the hope of creating a sharia-based society: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation, as the world’s second-largest international nongovernmental institution, is a powerful voting bloc in the United Nations. As with the Muslim Brotherhood, it upholds the doctrines and goals of global Islamic supremacy based on the Quranic teachings and the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad.

It has a unique role in that it has political authority by bringing together its fifty-seven member-states, which include some of the wealthiest in the world, thereby controlling in wha Bat Ye’or called the “lion’s share of global energy resources.”

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia appears to have the leading influence in the OIC, as per its flag and logo, which has a crescent moon encompassing the entire globe with the Ka’aba in the center, simulating the Saudi Arabian one, which incidentally was the only nation among all the embassies in Washington, DC that did not lower its flag on 9/11.

Under the guise of diffusing justice in the Middle East, such as seeking an independent and sovereign Palestinian State, the OIC has opened its Pandora’s box of Islamic infiltrators in the United States and in Europe. This helped expand and strengthen its worldwide network of agents, thereby solidifying the member-states’ influence within the international community.

As a result, since the turn of the century, the OIC has been able to employ one of its primary jihadist objectives, getting the UN to coerce Western nations to criminalize Islamophobia, i.e., penalize any criticism, negative stereotyping, or deprecation, even if true, of Islam or the sharia.

Unlike the Muslim Brotherhood, which carries out its influence over people through both open and concealed operations, the OIC exercises its authority in its self-invested sovereign right to act and intervene for Islamic states and Muslims in non-Islamic nations.

Not only does it enjoy unlimited power through the union and cohesion of all its bodies, but also to this adds the infallibility conferred by religion. In practical terms, it has become the “unofficial” universal caliphate.

After the OIC orchestrated protest demonstrations and violence associated with the Danish and French cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad in 2005 and 2006, the EU was able to justify norms criminalizing actions falling within broad definitions of religious defamation, discrimination, and Islamophobia.

In March 2011, the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) passed Resolution 16/18, which called on all countries to combat “intolerance, negative stereotyping, and stigmatization of religious belief,” but stopped short of mandating criminal penalties, even though it did recognize the Muslim Brotherhood invented the concept of Islamophobia.

With the backing of then-President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, OIC-sponsored Resolution 66/167 quietly passed the 193-member UN General Assembly on December 19, 2011. This was widely viewed as marking a significant step toward making defamation of Islam and Islamophobia recognized legal concepts that could be criminalized.

Whether they are so-called extremists or benevolent Islamic organizations, a universal appeal or a crusade on the part of Muslims to defend their cultural and political identity has been propelled by the OIC, which has won the right for Muslims to refuse to be assimilated into the Western society in which they live.

This is why the OIC still refuses to condemn sharia-based norms that sustain the inequality between a Muslim and non-Muslim and that of man and woman.

New York Landmarks lit up in Pink to Celebrate Legalizing Abortion until Birth

Wild cheering and applause erupted in the New York State legislature as lawmakers voted on Tuesday to declare abortion until birth a "fundamental right" and strike any protections for children in the womb from the books. January 22 was chosen to celebrate the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, which has resulted in the destruction of more than sixty million pre-born children since 1973.

The state Senate voted 38-24 in favor of the "Reproductive Health Act," with the Assembly passing it by a margin of 92 to 47. The legislation states in part that "Every individual who becomes pregnant has the fundamental right to choose to carry the pregnancy to term, to give birth to a child, or to have an abortion."

New York State has some of the highest abortion rates in the country, and more black babies are aborted each year than are born. Abortion was previously legal until 24 weeks, but has now been removed from New York's penal code. For New York's abortion radicals, there is no such thing as too much feticide.

The ghoulish cheering that hailed the passage of a bill that permits nearly full-term infants to be injected with poison and murdered was not the only grave-dancing that took place. Governor Andrew Cuomo also directed the One World Trade Center to light up their 408-foot spire in pink, and ordered that the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, the Kosciuszko Bridge, and the Alfred E. Smith Building in Albany be lit up as well to celebrate the new right of New Yorker's to have viable babies in the womb dismembered and poisoned to death.

The bill, said Cuomo, was "a historic victory for New Yorkers and our progressive values...I am directing that New York's landmarks be lit in pink to celebrate this achievement and shine a bright light forward for the rest of the nation to follow."

Pink or blue? was my first thought when I saw Cuomo's directive. He chose pink to celebrate the extension of abortion to after viability, but it seems as if New York's landmarks are lit up to commemorate the passing of untold nameless ones.

This is what Cuomo and America's progressives call a "bright light forward"--a land where de facto infanticide is lustily practiced to the wild cheers of politicians running for office on promises to defend the little guy.

There is no other word to describe it: This is evil, and there can be no parley with the people who joyously trample on the children in the name of their freedom.

20 Killed, 111 Wounded in ISIS Bombing at Catholic Cathedral

A Roman Catholic Cathedral was struck by horror and tragedy during Sunday Mass this weekend when two bombs exploded killing at least 20 people and wounding over 100.

According to the Associated Press, congregants stampeded out of the Philippines based Jolo Cathedral following the first explosion. About one minute after the first explosion, military personnel and police officers began to rush into the building when a second bomb, located near the church’s entrance, went off.

According to police reports, at least 20 people were killed in the blasts and 111 people were wounded. Of the 20 fatalities, 15 were civilians and five were military troops. Of those wounded, the AP reports that 17 troops, two police officers, 2 coast guard members and 90 civilians were injured.

The office of President Rodrigo Duterte released a statement following the attack ensuring citizens that no measure would be spared to catch the bomber(s). The statement said, “We will pursue to the ends of the earth the ruthless perpetrators behind this dastardly crime until every killer is brought to justice and put behind bars.” The statement added, “The law will give them no mercy.”

Since the president released this statement, the ISIS terror group has claimed responsibility for the attack through their Amaq propaganda agency, Fox News reports.

The Philippines’ Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said in a statement that the military has been directed to “heighten their alert level.” Lorenzana said, “I have directed our troops to heighten their alert level, secure all places of worships and public places at once, and initiate pro-active security measures to thwart hostile plans.”
