Message for reflection – Sr. Angelica AOJ

I will teach you in the way you shall go!

We see the Bible in various characters instructed and led by GOD.

Psalms 32:8 (UKJV) I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with mine eye.

This is the promise of God for his children. The way He instructs and teaches to go need not necessarily be a highway that is smooth and nice.

Mat 2:19 But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,  saying, “Rise, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the child's life are dead.”  And he rose and took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel. 

For Joseph, the way shown would have been a footpath. He would have selected that path to rescue the life of the child Jesus.

Why this path was narrow? Because of the monitoring spirits that watch your steps and what you do, your activities, and your behavior, especially the words that you say. Monitoring spirits go and report it to their master satan. He then plans schemes to destroy what the Lord has planned for you.

Again, it is said about Joseph and his family,

Mat 2:22-23 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there, and being warned in a dream he withdrew to the district of Galilee.   And he went and lived in a city called Nazareth, so that what was spoken by the prophets might be fulfilled, that he would be called a Nazarene. 

Things might seem to happen naturally. Due to fear, they seemed to have gone to settle down in Galilee. Because they were scared. But it was in fulfilment of a prophecy.

Joseph understood properly the prophecies uttered over Jesus were being fulfilled.

In our life let’s ask God even if it’s a narrow path, he should instruct and show us the right way.

God can show us a narrow or hidden path when there is danger.

Isa 26:20 Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by.

The Lord asked the Church in India to hide and not to come to the public stage for 7 years 2014-2020! That was a safety measure to protect itself from public eyes during the time of persecution!

Whichever path the Lord shows will be the best way for us to go!

The Lord has shown us a way to go these days of Jubilee Celebration!

SHADOW PARLI

Shadow parli was conducted in the month of April in Delhi. Many issues were discussed during the meeting. A few issues were taken to the heavenly court. They are

  6. Unemployment.

TESTIMONY

This old jackfruit tree which is in the backyard of Shylaja has a testimony to tell you. It never yielded any fruit. After attending Prophecy Activation Training, Sol. Shylaja prophesied to this tree using Rom 8:19-23, Since then it started yielding fruits. For the last 3 years, this tree has been fruitful. Glory to God.

 

ACTIVITIES OF SMP & SMLA

  • As Pondicherry is a small place it is easy for us to conduct SLA meetings physically.
  • Every month we have an SLA meeting and SMLA are encouraged to pray for their constituencies.
  • Heavenly Court appeals are made after discussing major issues of the state.
  • Heavenly appeal was made related to alcohol and Drugs to be Prohibited on all college campuses and also in other places.

HEAVENLY COURT APPEAL TESTIMONY

Sol.Thilagam: I appealed a case on a muddy, messy road with ravines near my area. After a week everything was resolved and the road works were done. Praise the Lord!

TROOP CHURCH TESTIMONY

Praise the Lord! This is the testimony of one sister who attended Blessed troop church last week, for the first time. She has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder in the last 10 years and had all sorts of medical complications due to that. After attending troop church last week and being prayed for by troopers, she started experiencing the Lord's presence in her life like never before. She started hearing God’s word to her continuously and for the past 3 days, her health has started improving. She was not able to laugh or exert herself without chest pain. But for the last 3 days, she has no pain. All glory to Jesus! Thank you, Lord Jesus! Jesus is alive and still healing, delivering, and setting captives free! Hallelujah!

PROPHECY NEWS-7 INDIAN CHRISTIANS GET BAIL IN ‘CONVERSION’ CASE

The top court in a central Indian state has granted bail to seven Christians, including two pastors and a pregnant woman after they spent close to two months in jail for the alleged violation of the stringent anti-conversion law.

The Indore bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on Sept. 4 granted bail to Pastors Anil Chouhan and Suresh Dawar and five others, including 28-year-old Durga Mangilal who is pregnant.

“They were trapped in a totally false case,” Pastor Jayakar Kristi, who is following the case, told UCA News on Sept. 6.

The pastors visited a village in the state to conduct a meeting, but “it was dubbed as a case of religious conversion,” he observed.

“Their arrest and incarceration are totally in violation of the provisions of the anti-conversion law,” Kristi explained.

The pastors and other Christians moved the High Court after two lower courts rejected their bail applications, he added.

Advocate Umesh Manshore, who appeared for the Christians, told the court that under the Madhya Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act, the case has to be filed by the person who was being converted or by his/her close relatives.

“Whereas in this case, the case was filed by a stranger,” Manshore told the court.

Besides, police also failed to comply with the 2014 order of the Supreme Court, the top court in the country, that directed police to serve a notice to the accused if the maximum punishment is up to five years, Manshore said.

The High Court in its order said, “It is a fit case to grant bail to the applicants.”

The court, however, asked the Christians to furnish a personal bond of Rs.50,000 (US$607) each.

“This is a clear case of gross violation and misuse of the anti-conversion law,” said Daniel John, a Catholic leader based in Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh.

Police in Dewas district in Madhya Pradesh arrested the Christians on July 16 following a complaint from one Tukaram, who is identified by his first name, and five others.

They said the pastors and others were luring Hindus to become Christians, which is a crime under the state’s sweeping anti-conversion law.

They also accused the Christians of defaming Hindu gods like Lord Hanuman and sought action against them for violating the provisions of the Madhya Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act, 2021, popularly known as the anti-conversion law.

“The right-wing Hindu activists assaulted the pastors before handing them over to police,” Kristi said.

Since 2003, the pro-Hindu Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been heading the central Indian state, which goes to the polls this year.

In 2021, the pro-Hindu party tightened the more than five decades old anti-conversion law with provisions for imprisonment of up to 10 years and a fine.

Out of India’s 28 provincial states, Madhya Pradesh is among 11 states where a draconian anti-conversion law is in full force.

“The amended anti-conversion law has made the life of Christians miserable in the state,” Daniel John told UCA News on Sept. 6.

As per the amended law, “If a Christian offers food to a hungry person who happens to be Hindu, it can be interpreted as allurement and the poor Christian can end up in jail,” John said.

“Anybody lodges a complaint, Christians are arrested and put behind bars,” he added.

Assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh, along with Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Mizoram and Rajasthan states will take place in October and November this year.

Christians make up a mere 0.29 percent of more than 72 million people in Madhya Pradesh, where the majority 80 percent are Hindus.
