Mighty Prince among us

Bible talks to us about so many things which our forefathers faced.

Abraham’s wife Sarah died while he was a sojourner and a foreigner in the land where he was living.  He did not have a place of his own to bury her. Poor Abraham!.  Leaving aside the sorrow of his heart, he had to look for a place to bury the body immediately. The Bible says,

Abraham stood up from before his dead, and spoke to the sons of Heth, saying,

Gen 23:4  I am a stranger and a visitor with you. Give me a possession of a burying place with you, so that I may bury my dead out of my sight. 

Abraham had proved his credibility as a true servant of God.   See the verses below, the conversation between Ehhron, the son of Zohar and Abraham.

Gen 23:6  Hear us, my lord. You are a mighty prince among us. Bury your dead in the choice of our burying places. None of us shall withhold from you his burying-place from burying your dead. 

How dignified Abraham was in the sight of those people.     

He wanted to  give the land free.  But Abraham wanted to pay for the land and buy it.  This showed the dignity of Abraham.

Today in India, we Christians have yet to prove our  nobility. We are branded by others as sojourners and foreigners here. We are denied of even our fundamental rights because Christianity is yet to prove  its worth in this nation.

I came to know the testimony of a sister whose father refused to talk to her for 3 years even though she was his pet child, for the only reason  that she accepted Jesus Christ as her Saviour. She was narrating the reason for this. Her father who was a doctor used to treat  poor people free.  There was an orphanage near their house, the children of which used to come to him for treatment.  He never charged them anything.  One day one   person from that orphanage approached him for getting  signatures  in some  medical bills of  the children which he had not collected. This incident provoked him and became a great scandal in his life. He lost confidence in Christianity.   

Let us  repent  and amend our ways . We have sold out the name of our Lord Jesus for our petty selfish motives.  May the Lord forgive all our iniquities and accept us.

Biblical New Testament Worship is far different from what we call “Worship” today in the Churches.

In the New Testament, people  praised and worshipped God

1. In houses, in prison, Act 16:25  About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them
2. At the foot of the Cross. Luk 23:47  Now when the centurion saw what had taken place, he praised God, saying, “Certainly this man was innocent!” 
3. In the streets. Matthew 21:16  and they said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes; have you never read, “‘Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you have prepared praise’?”
4. And everywhere. Jesus said, John 4:23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.

All the people worshipped and praised the Lord. (Rom 15:9,11).

All people, literate, illiterate, rich, poor, of all castes and  tribes  should be taught to worship the Lord.

They should be taught to worship everywhere, wherever they are. It does not need a particular place, a building necessarily because the Lord’s dwelling place is the heart. 

Taking all this into consideration, as per the instruction of the Lord, The Army of Jesus started worshipping the Lord 24 hours at the National Worship Centre Chennai from April 13, 2014. On the seventh year , after the completion of 26,280 slots of chain worship, the Lord asked the AOJ to start the Sapphire University. So it started to mobilize all the worshippers whom AOJ has trained as worshippers in the nation. To the surprise of everybody within 2 months April & May of 2020, it could raise 3000 worshippers. In one more month the number of worshippers increased to 4250! Apart from that, David School of worship was going on in various parts of the country from 2016 onwards. The participants learned  the subjects taught on worship. They also  composed songs and sang in the  practical session.

Praise the Lord! Sapphire University is the first of its kind in the world. The aim of this University is to raise true worshippers in huge numbers, especially trained skillful worshippers who will worship the Lord 24 hours 365 days as in the days of King David. It is not only learning to play musical instruments. They will be taught to transform  their life into worship. 

Amos 9:11 and Acts 15:16

After this I will return

And will rebuild the Tabernacle of David, which has fallen down;

I will rebuild its ruins,

And I will set it up.

As per the Lord's promise, he is returning and rebuilding the temple of praise through the Sapphire University.

The objective of the University is to raise and appoint trained singers and musicians to

1. Thank and praise the Lord. 1 Chronicles 16:4
2. Prophesy with harps, stringed instruments, and cymbals. 1 Chronicles 25:1

There are different types of music in the world, for example, classical music, pop music, rock music, jazz music, heavy metal music, etc..

In the Sapphire University, we have customized the entire syllabus to drive towards  worship. Every step we take here is driven towards worship. We have theory as well as practical. The theory sessions are the music classes and the practical sessions are conducted through online worship. And we teach the participants how to worship the Lord through David school of worship.

We have appointed highly skilled and efficient faculty for teaching.

At the end of the academic year, once the students pass all the examinations, they will be given  a certificate in their stream by Kingdom Human Rejuvenation and Development Centre, a registered Company which concentrates on the training programmes .

It is not a commercial organization. There is a minimal fee involved to bear the costs towards the faculty, etc.

May the Lord bless each and every student of the Sapphire University and raise many Davids, Asaphs, Hemans, Jeduthans, and so on...
