There shall be a time of trouble, such as never was

Dan 12:1  And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 

The world is facing such a time now, a time of trouble unprecedented  in the history of humanity. But there is a good news for his children.

“Thy people shall be delivered. Everyone that shall be found written in the book.”

When the Lord gave the strategy of Troop Church we travelled from one end to the other end of India to propagate this. The first question people asked invariably was

“If we leave the institutional Church, where will we get grave?”

Second question was,

“How will we solemnize the marriage of our children”.

These two have become the priority of Christians in the institutional Churches. They have come to such a comfortable state to forget about the evangelizing duty  of the Church, reaching out the gentiles, preaching gospel and  renouncing all securities for the sake of gospel.

Celebrating marriage function, funeral service in the most attractive way has become the fashion of the Churches this day.

I was recollecting verses from the Bible of  funeral and burial issues.

In the modern society, there has been a tendency to believe that a good Christian is the one who gets a decent death and a decent burial. The family members consider it as their duty to conduct the burial service as ostentatious  as possible. Christians do not seem to worry much about where the soul goes after death or about the eternal life but they make the funeral service a real show.

Most of the Christians who have membership in any one of the organizational Churches will have the first guarantee of a burial place.

Jesus  got grave with the wicked. He died on the cross, crucified in the middle of two robbers.

Isa 53:9  And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. 

Paul said,

Phi 3:10  That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 

Paul wanted to be in conformity with Christ in His death.

Can a Christian desire for a better burial and funeral other than that of Jesus Christ?

Yesterday I went through  a media narration of what happened to the body of Dr. Simon Hercules, a Christian Neurologist who was running a Hospital in the heart of the city of Chennai under the name “New Hope” Hospital. He was tested positive 15 days back, admitted to the best renowned hospital Apollo” in Chennai. After 15 days he succumbed to the attack of Covid 19 and  breathed his last. After all the formalities, the dead body was taken to the burial ground. But the nearby people, did not allow his body to be buried there. According to the video narration, they brought gundas to attack  the van and those who were  inside the van. After trying to convince them in vain, the body was taken to another burial ground and buried.

This is the second incident happening in Chennai. The earlier was also that of a doctor from Nellore who died in Chennai. When his body was brought to the burial ground by the hospital workers, the  inhabitants of that area gave problems to them. It ended up in leaving  the body in the burial ground. It was left there unclaimed. After that the police  interfered and the body was buried. (Thanks be to the Govt of Tamil Nadu especially the  Police Department  for taking stringent legal steps against the culprits  so that such things will not repeat and for doing justice to the health workers).

What all these incidents tell us?

The Lord is teaching the Church and the people who had made secure their burial ground, the  lesson of a  true believer’s concept on “death and burial”.

Let us pray for the health workers, doctors, nurses, other staffs of hospitals, police and people who are serving in the public utility services.

Be Formed and Form is a 5 day short term course. We as a team prayed and trained National state level school of healing coming up from 24-4-2020 to 1-5-2020( English)  and 3-5-2020 to 10-5-2020 ( Tamil). Healing gift is the most common gift through which lay people recognized Jesus and his disciples. Now in Bethesda school of healing we are activating the gift of healing through the word of God. Many attend and realize their authority and power in Christ after the session. 2. Piyush was delivered from the evil spirit. And he also likes to start Troop Church in his place.

Let’s check our going!

We go to the house of God in love for Him, in search of Him, in need of Him or in times of trouble or as a routine or whatever...

How do we go? Have we ever checked our going? Does going itself requires certain discipline ? Can we not go the way we are?

Ecclesiastes 5:1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.

Yes , going to the house of God requires discipline - guarding our step

- guarding our step with readiness to hear,

- guarding our step that we may not offer sacrifices of fool

What readiness to hear mean?

To hear is to receive, submit, obey, and channelize (convey)

To hear is to remain humble

To hear is to fulfill the vow we have made

To hear is to speak a few words

 

Hearing is - fearing God

What - not to offer sacrifices of fool mean?

Ecclesiastes 5:2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.

Ecclesiastes 5:3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by multitude of words.

A hearer who fears God knows God is in heaven and he is in earth and  that his words are to be few ( voice of Publican Luke 18:11,12 )

But a fool who is neither bothered to know nor bothered to hear, voice out his foolishness with many words - rash and hasty (voice of Pharisee Luke 18:13 )

Ecclesiastes 5:4 when thou vowest a vow unto God defers not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.

Ecclesiastes 5:6 Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?

 

A hearer fulfills the vow and presents himself pleasurable before God.

But a fool delays fulfilling vow and present himself is not pleasurable before God

Or even disagree provoking anger in God.

And now, sacrifices of fools are apparent.

They speak multitude of words - rash, hasty, and contradictory.

 

But those who fear God show readiness to listen speak very few words.

Going to the house of God?

Let’s watch our steps guarded!

Watch that we go in readiness to listen!

Watch that we don’t land up in offering sacrifice of fools!

David School of Worship is being conducted in English on zoom every morning from 16th April 2020 to 23rd April 2020. Around 70 students  participate in the school. Everyone learnt what true worship is. They have experienced the move of the Holy Spirit. Also the students composed new songs. All glory to God.

24 hours all India Worship is going on in zoom and all the regions, states are participating in the worship. Revival has come through the soldiers of the Lord's Army. Many soldiers who were inactive became active because of this 24 hour worship and they are taking part in the worship.

The HOLY SPIRIT took me to JESUS’s feet. There I saw GOD in Glory sitting on His throne and I was in front of Him... Angels were worshipping Him and I joined the angels in Worship. We were in semi-circle shape and I was in the middle point of that semi-circle. I started worshipping in tongues. The HOLY Spirit filled my mouth with worship. The only word coming out from my mouth was HOLY HOLY HOLY... I was already in heavenly realm. My soul was rejoicing in the LORD. In GOD'S presence I worshipped. I felt worshipping cannot be expressed in words. I didn’t use the lyrics I had prepared for worship. But the HOLY SPIRIT filled my mouth with words. I experienced such worship after almost 2-3yrs. I was longing to be in GOD'S presence and to worship HIM in HIS holiness. I was crying out for desperately. It was all possible because of GOD's faithfulness. HE is worthy to be praised. The HOLY Spirit our helper took me to GOD'S presence. I'm thankful and words cannot describe the joy I felt.

GOD filled my heart with joy and my mouth with laughter.

Joshua Troop Church 4^th  meeting held today from 6 to 8 pm. Totally 7 families attended, one from Goa , another from Coimbatore . Testimonies/ visions received.

1. An angel (சங்கார தூதன்) standing with a big sword in his left hand .When the soldier pleads for mercy (to down the hand), no response.
2. A soldier testified that he got back “seeing visions”, which he lost a few years back.
3. Two soldiers shared God’s word 1^st time in their Christian life and they were happy about this.
4. One soldier who had to give message that day, before entering Zoom prayed. She saw a vision of decorated bride which is Troop Church. (அலங்கரிக்கப் பட்ட மண வாட்டி சபை )

Sol. Stanley, Shekinah Teacher from Thirunindravur ,  suburban town near Chennai ,called AOJ Sister after a few years gap and requested to conduct prayer meeting. Sister started Jehovah Rapha Troop Church in his house daily 2 to 4 pm from 8^th April on zoom. Twelve soldiers attended and everyone enjoyed God's presence during this Lockdown period .At the end of 8^th day, on 15^th April. 8 soldiers assured and offered themselves to Jesus Christ to start Troop Church individually.

2^nd Troop Daniel started by Jaius , Stanely' s son.. Sol.Victoria who attended BFF and worked as Coordinator for many BFF batches attended this Daniel Troop.

3^rd  Troop started (from Bengalore ) Jehovah Jireh.

When praying for each other, one sister received a word Psalm 91:11"For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways" for Trashika and Trashika sensed a man standing beside her. When she opened her eyes to see who he was, she saw two big wings of an angel with her open eyes. She was very much encouraged and praised God. All Glory to God
