While we were conducting Deliverance training, I asked one participant, “Can you cast out an evil spirit from a person?” She said, “No”

I asked her, “How long have you been a Christian?” “18 years”, she said.

While the same training was going on in another place, a 15 days old believer was there. He was taken to a hospital for practical in healing. In the name of Jesus, he healed 3 patients.

What is the difference between these two?

The latter believed and confessed that he has been given the gift of healing whereas the former confessed that he did not receive any gift from Jesus Christ.

Every believer, the day they accept Jesus Christ, is given the gift to cast out evil spirits and to heal all kinds of sicknesses.

“And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease”. Mt. 10:1

The same is valid in my case too. Upto 45 years of my life, I was confessing negatively that I do not have any gift of the Holy Spirit at all. When I started confessing and believing that I have the gifts, it got activated in me.

How meaningful are the words of Mark 4:25

“For to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away." Mk 4:25

There is an earnest search among the believers across the world for a real Church where a person can commune with God and relate to his fellow brethren. After trials and experiments the Indian Church is forming “Troop Church”.

The Army of Jesus was experimenting with the “Troop Church” for the past 17 years. Started in the year 1998. The experiment with Troop Church has been successful.

It has independent first line second and third line Troop Churches
It has raised many leaders, prophets, counselors and other ministers and gospel workers.
It has no visible leader or hierarchical structure

Since the mother troop disperses and starts new troops after 2 months, there is no stagnancy.

Jesus has directed us to baptize the new believers in His name in Matthew 28:19. Everyone who is baptized in water is expected to preach the gospel and baptize the new believers as per Matthew 28:18-20. We do not see this in the Sunday only fake church. But this Biblical practice is a normal phenomenon in the original churches, also called troop churches which operate in houses.

Sol.Meschakh and his wife Sol.Priscilla were members of our 2nd troop named _“Light of the world”._ This troop church was disbanded on 30th December 2016. This young couple started a new troop church at their home named, it Abundant life in Christ on 10th January 2017. Within two weeks of starting their own troop church, they got two new souls, a mother and her daughter. Now they had to be baptized in water.

We could not get the usual swimming pool as it was being replenished with new water. But Bro. Meschakh ran around for a full day and found a water body close to our house (Eri).

And we assembled on the 22nd. sol. Meschakh and his wife Priscilla baptized the new believers.

Sol.Judah of the Troop Light of the world and my wife also attended the event.

Glory to Jesus.

Even before I report this to you, this couple got three more souls. That is the love of Jesus on the genuine church and the genuine Christians. This couple also heal the sick in the name of Jesus.

2) PRINCIPLES BEHIND BAPTISM

2 (1) BAPTISM REPLACED THE OLD COVENANT – CIRCUMCISION THE OLD TESTAMENT COVENANT:

Genesis 17:13 He who is born in your house and he who is bought with your money must be circumcised, and My covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. 14 And the uncircumcised male child, who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that person shall be cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant

BAPTISM REPLACED CIRCUMCISION: Colossians 2:11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

CIRCUMCISION IS NO MORE VALID : Jesus Christ has replaced the old covenant with the new one in which everyone is equal, Jews and gentiles. We, the gentiles become partakers of the blessings that came through Abraham. The connecting Cross! Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Circumcision invalidated!

Galatians 5:2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. 3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. 4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. Galatians 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation.

THE DECISION POINT: The Lord has shed His precious blood and entered into a covenant relationship with us. No more we need to shed blood (Hebrews 7:27, 9:22). In its place, the Lord has introduced a new covenant to offer salvation to us – through baptism. Baptism has replaced circumcision. Without entering into baptism covenant one cannot hope to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen.

2 (2) SYMBOLIZES LORD'S DEATH AND RESURRECTION

Baptism means “Dead to Sin, Alive to God” Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Such an important covenant which enables us to bury our sins in Jesus – should we reject it and adopt some other procedure? When we adopt such different baptism procedures, can we hope to enter into the Kingdom?

THE DECISION POINT : Through baptism we die for our sins and like Jesus resurrected, we come out of the water as a new resurrected creation – a sin free creation belonging to Jesus. One cannot be buried by sprinkling water or pouring water. Burial means complete submersion. That is what is happening in baptism. We get “buried” in water and “resurrected” when we come out of water. This symbolizes the greatest sacrifice made by Jesus, the Creator of the Heavens and the earth. This burial and resurrection method cannot be altered to the convenience of anybody or any church. This is a mandate from the Holy God. No one can overrule the Holy God, Jesus. Amen. (Isaiah 40:13, Romans 11:34)

Pro-Israel Christians Rally Support For A US Embassy In Jerusalem

Aside from its centrality to Jewish people hood as the home of the ancient Jewish Temples and now the modern state of Israel's capital, Jerusalem is also synonymous with Judaism for many Bible-reading Christians. As such, prominent pro-Israel Christian organizations are lining up to express their support for President Donald Trump's promise to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and to hold the president accountable for his words. Susan Michael, U.S. director for the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ), said Christians already understand that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and would like to see the American government follow suit.

In fact, ICEJ has had its own "unofficial" embassy in Jerusalem since 1980, a point that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu noted in his 2016 Christmas address. "Hundreds of millions of Christians around the world understand from their Bible the spiritual significance of Jerusalem to the Jewish people, and that it was established as the capital of Israel some 3,000 years ago by King David," Michael told JNS.org, adding that Christians "believe the spiritual law of blessing established in Genesis 12 that God will bless those who bless the Jewish people....They want to see the U.S. standing in support of Israel and enjoying the blessings of doing so."Matthew Staver, founder and chairman of the Liberty Counsel Evangelical Christian organization and president of the Christians in Defense of Israel ministry, echoed Michael's assessment.

"Support for Israel comes from both the Bible, which clearly establishes God gave the land of Israel to the Jews, and from history that confirms the continuity of the connection between Israel and the Jewish people," Staver told JNS.org. "To deny recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is anti-Semitic." David Brog, the founding executive director and currently a board member of Christians United for Israel (CUFI), which calls itself America's largest pro-Israel organization with more than 3.3 million members, told JNS.org that many Christians who read the Bible "understand that Jerusalem is and has always been Israel's capital city, and they simply don't understand why Israel should be the only nation on Earth where we do not place our embassy in the capital."

"Support of Israel was one of the motivating factors in the historic evangelical voter turnout for President Trump in this past election," said Pastor Mario Bramnick, president of the Hispanic Israel Leadership Coalition, a leading pro-Israel Latino Christian initiative. "As evangelicals, we support President Trump's resolve in moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem. We believe that theland of Israel, with an undivided Jerusalem as its capital, was given by God to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob by way of an eternal covenant and that no president, prime minister or monarch has any authority to take it away."

'Decades-long injustice' While the historic Jewish connection to Jerusalem is obvious to many evangelical Christians, ICEJ's Michael also explained that from a practical standpoint, pro-Israel Christians also feel the "need to right a decades-long injustice in U.S. policy." "Israel is the only country where the U.S. embassy is not located in the capital of that country. This is because the U.S. government does not even recognize west Jerusalem as being part of Israel, even though it is territory Israel has controlled since 1949," she said.Indeed, President Harry Truman instituted de facto recognition of Israel in May 1948 (de jure recognition of the Jewish state came in January 1949), but the U.S. has never recognized Israel's claims over Jerusalem.

Those claims were limited to western Jerusalem until Israel reunified the city, capturing the eastern portion from Jordan, in the 1967 Six-Day War. In the decades following Israel's extension of sovereignty over all of Jerusalem, the U.S. has held firm on refusing to recognize the city as the capital of Israel.Congress, however, has taken a different position. In 1995, Congress passed the Jerusalem Embassy Act, which calls on the U.S. to move the embassy to Jerusalem and recognize the city as Israel's capital. But every sitting president since then has opted to sign successive six-month waivers delaying the move. Most recently, former President Barack Obama signed the waiver in December, meaning President Trump will need to decide by June 1 between another waiver or an embassy move.As such, one proposal suggests that the U.S. relocate its embassy to western Jerusalem, which the international community widely accepts as being part of Israel in the present or under any future Israeli-Palestinian final status agreement."Moving the embassy to west Jerusalem has no bearing on east Jerusalem, nor does it prejudice the outcome of eventual negotiations over the city's final status and borders, and therefore should happen forthwith," Michael said.

At the same time, the U.S. already maintains a consulate in Jerusalem that serves the city as well as the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. It is one of two American consulates, the other being in Hong Kong, that report directly to the State Department rather than to a U.S. ambassador.

Somalia: Even Those Suspected of Being Christians Face Execution

Christians in Somalia face severe persecution, with reports surfacing that when there is even a suspicion that someone is a Christian, they are executed.On this year’s recently released 2017 World Watch list from Christian persecution charity Open Doors, Somalia ranks as the second worst country for Christian persecution, only behind North Korea. According to ChristianToday.com, however, some say that Somalia is even worse than North Korea regarding persecution of Christian because the moment someone is suspected of being a Christian, that person is beheaded without any kind of trial."Unlike in North Korea, on their [Christian converts'] discovery they would not last a day in a trial or ever get the chance to be sentenced to a labor camp," said Yonas Dembele, an International Law analyst for the World Watch Research Unit at Open Doors.

In order to survive as Christians in this Sunni Muslim-dominated nation, Christ-followers “must pretend not to be Christians,” according to Dembele.The Islamic State and al-Shabaab terrorist groups also target Christians in the country. Despite these severe dangers Christians face in Somalia, there are also reports of many Muslims converting to Christianity.Greg Musselman of the Voice of the Martyrs said, "we do hear these many stories of Muslims having visions and dreams of Jesus.”

U.S. Missionary Working to Get Russia’s Anti-Evangelism Law Overturned

The case of a U.S. missionary to Russia may be the first to call Russia’s anti-evangelism law into serious question. According to Christianity Today, Don Ossewaarde is a missionary from Illinois. He was arrested last August for holding his weekly Bible study and accused of conducting missionary activities which ran contrary to the so-called “Yarovaya law,” which restricts evangelistic activity in Russia. The law was approved by Russian president Vladimir Putin and went into effect last July. It prohibits a variety of evangelistic and church-related activities, such as handing out Bibles, holding Bible studies which are not state-sanctioned, running a house church, evangelizing without a permit, and allowing children to play within hearing distance of sermons.

The law has received a lot of pushback from Christians and human rights activists, but Ossewaarde’s case is the first to have made it all the way to Russia’s Supreme Court. “This makes Ossewaarde's case the first under the ‘anti-missionary’ amendment to reach this level in the Russian courts, and the first to issue a challenge to the legislation itself,” Forum 18 reported. “The Constitutional Court, if it accepts the appeal, will examine whether the amendment contravenes the provisions of the Russian Constitution.”

Ossewaarde and his lawyers hope that his case will go beyond his personal vindication and will cause the Russian government to rethink the validity of the entire law. Since the law was enacted, 32 people have been charged. Eighteen were ultimately convicted and told to pay fines which can be up to $780 for an individual or more than $15,000 for an organization. The law is also seen as a way to protect the Russian Orthodox Church, which is closely tied to the Russian government.

The Old Testament - Pergamos Detour

So after a long period of time had passed, the people had changed the meaning of the serpent and had begun to worship it as a serpent god. Hence, why Hezekiah decided to destroy it. So associated with many of our healthcare systems we have the serpent’s so called secret wisdom, sun discs and symbolism associated with deception. If we place our healthcare systems in the hands of that serpent and look to him for ‘secret wisdom’ for healing rather than God, don’t be surprised if it doesn’t work or brings sickness and drug dependencies instead of health. It is estimated that well over half of all Americans are now on prescription drugs for chronic illnesses and that they now kill 300 percent more people than illegal drugs do for example.

Not to mention that we now use our healthcare for death rather than healing in abortions. We’ll come to that again later. The situation at Pergamos lasted for several hundred years until around 133BC when Attalus, the last king of Pergamos died, and left in his will all his dominions to the Roman people. Thus the kingdom of Pergamos merged entirely into Rome and once again no one could openly lay claim to the title of High Priest of the Babylonian Mysteries. The position was vacant once more. At the time the Roman Republic did not consider its rulers to be gods in the Babylonian style. This all changed however with Julius Caesar.
