Message for reflection – Sr.Angelica

Punishment for divination

Human beings have a natural  inclination  to know about their future especially while they are in crisis. In 2 Kings  chapter 1,  we read a similar incident.   A King called  Ahazia who fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber,  sent messengers and said unto them, “Go, inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease”.

But the angel of the Lord told prophet Elijah, “Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them,

“Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? Now therefore thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die”.

And he died.

Ahaziah went to a fake god who has no power over his future.  The Creator of Heaven and earth only have  right over human beings and their lives. Ahaziah did not ask messengers to go to Baalzebub to save his  life from sickness, or for healing or to prolong his life because he knew it cannot do that. People approach false gods for divination. But  Lord Jesus only have the right to  give back life, to extend it, even to raise the dead to life etc. He said,

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” Rev. 1:18

No satan, enemy, magician have control over a man’s life. He will live on this earth as long as God allows him. When the Lord commands, he falls sick, gets fatal blows, and his life is taken away from this earth as we see in the case of Ahaziah.  Shall we fear this God?

Warfare prayer of the soldiers of the Army of Jesus to bind and destroy the works of the devil

The Son of God appeared to destroy the works of the devil. 1 Jn 3:8

“A name above every name is bestowed on Jesus that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth”. (Phil. 2:9,10)

“God has sent the spirit of His Son into our hearts”. Gal. 4:6

“The power and authority is given to us to cast out all evil spirits (Mat 10:1, Lk. 9:1)

“Whatever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven.” (Mat. 16:19)

Let us bind and destroy the works of the devil in the name of Jesus Christ who has conquered sin, satan, curse and death on the cross.

This is the warfare night prayer of the watchmen i.e. the soldiers of the Army of Jesus to bind and destroy  the works of the devil in every one of us, our families, relatives, friends, soldiers of the Army of Jesus, Hill Horses, participants of ENHF Trainings and all the people of our country and the world.

Binding prayer e.g. No. 1. In the name of Jesus Christ, I bind and destroy the works of the spirit which makes one forget the law of the Lord. (Pro  3:1)

Pro  13:5  The spirit of a wicked man  which is  loathsome and  shameful.

A Lineup of Rulers

The two part book of kings can be confusing. First there’s one nation to keep track of ,then two , then one again. In all , 39 rulers are profiled , little wonder it takes a biblical scholar to keep all the details straight.

The list of 38 kings and one queen should help clarify the history of Israel in the North and Judah

In the South. As you come across the name of a ruler in one of the history books or in a book of the prophets, simply refer to the capsule description below for a brief summary of life during the time of that ruler or prophet.

In all the kingdom of Israel and Judah were united for 120 years and divided for just over 200 years. Then Israel disappeared and Judah lasted alone another 135 Years .After that , no independent Jewish nation existed until the 20th century.

The timeline of the major prophets in the appropriate time period , along with the rulers of their  era. Prophets whose names appear in shaded boxes spoke to Israel; those listed against a white background spoke to Judah.

Exploring The New World Order From A Christian Perspective - Mark Fairley

“Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness;
instead, EXPOSE them” Ephesians 5:11

1.Introduction

In early 2009 I was browsing a photo album that one of my friends had posted on Facebook. One photo in particular caught my attention as she, along with a friend, were in the far north of Scotland standing in front of a war memorial in the shape of an obelisk. If you can’t picture one off the top of your head, don’t worry about it – we’ll get to it later. Suddenly it struck me how prevalent these things were. There is one in the middle of the Vatican in Rome and an identical one towering over Washington DC. As I searched my mind I remembered that I'd even seen one in a local park.

Why this Facebook photograph particularly piqued my interest on that day was because in late 2007 I had done a study that had shown obelisks to be connected with the worship of Baal and Asherah – the chief pagan deities of the Bible. I don't know why it took me a year to realise how prevalent they were, but I found myself asking the question: "Could it be that, in some sense, these deities haven’t ever gone away?" We hear about them so often in the Old Testament as the chief antagonists of God but they are never thought of in a modern context. Yet here we have these “Asherah poles” that God so despises all over our nation and all over the world. In significant locations too. How did they get there? What was the story behind this?

The investigation that I had closed in 2007 was now re-opened and I found
myself scouring websites and books that would help answer the questions that now filled my head. As I searched, I found more connections, which led to more questions. As I pursued those, still more connections were opened up. I began to see links between different eras. A picture on a grand

scale was coming into view.

A story that spanned from the beginning of time until the end; from Genesis to Revelation. The same ideas were recurring time and time again. I knew the information I was finding pieced together somehow. This couldn't just be coincidence.

Troop Church Series

What is Troop Church ?

There is an earnest search among the believers across the world for a real Church where a person can commune with God and relate to his fellow brethren. After trials and experiments the Indian Church is forming “Troop Church”.

The Army of Jesus was experimenting with the “Troop Church” for the past 17 years. Started in the year 1998, it has so far registered 19,676 troops . The experiment with Troop Church has been successful.

  1. It has 19,676 independent first line Troop Churches. Second , third line numbers of Troop Churches are not known.
  2. It has raised many leaders, pastors, prophets, counselors and other ministers and gospel workers.
  3. It has no visible leader or hierarchical structure
  4. It has no office, no full timer, no paid worker etc.
  5. No organizational (hierarchical) set up.
  6. No money collection or transaction.
  7. No election, board, Committee etc.
  8. Every Troop Church trains up believers in their gifts like worshipping, preaching, prophecy etc.
  9. Since the mother troop disperses and starts new troops after 2 months, there is no stagnancy.
  10. No pollution or corruption with money or power.
  11. 11.The two wings of Troop Church are Decentralisation and Multiplication .

Images damaged at Goa church

Calangute: Miscreants broke the protective glass of two portraits at the main entrance of St Lawrence Church, Sinquerim in Goa.

The incident came to light on Feb. 17 when parishioners were on their way home. While the protective glass was broken, the two portraits of the Holy Family and St Lawrence were intact.

Calangute Police, including PSI Videsh Pilgaonkar, rushed to the site and took stock of the situation. While they believed that the work was of an unsound mind, the parishioners believed otherwise. The parishioners also feared for more trouble if the incident was not taken seriously.

Meanwhile, Calangute MLA Michael Lobo said that the police have registered a case and are investigating the same. He added, “It is unfair to draw premature conclusions.”

Pope Francis says Trump cannot claim to be a Christian

USA : NEW YORK: Donald Trump has called Pope Francis "disgraceful" after the Republican presidential candidate was described as being "not Christian".
Responding to the Pope comments, which were made in a conversation with reporters on his flight back from a visit to Mexico, Mr Trump insisted he is a Christian and proud of it. "If and when the Vatican is attacked by IsIs, which as everyone knows is ISIS's ultimate trophy, I can promise you that the Pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been President because this would not have happened," Mr. Trump said. "ISIS would have been eradicated unlike what is happening now with our all talk, no action politicians.

Franklin Graham Says World Turmoil is Sign of Jesus’ Coming

Evangelist and prominent Christian figure Franklin Graham has stated in a recent Facebook post that “the world is unraveling,” and that this points to the fact that Jesus will one day return to make things right.

The Christian Post reports that Graham cited recent news headlines and stated, "While the United States is focused on its own politics, the world is unraveling. The danger signals are everywhere. Beheadings, rapes, murders, bombings are taking place every day across North Africa through the Middle East, all the way to the borders of India.”

Graham went on to detail the threats posed by Russia and North Korea, noting that the latter “has successfully test fired a long-range missile that has the potential of eventually reaching America with a nuclear bomb.”

Despite the dire news headlines and seemingly imminent danger, Graham assured Christians that Jesus will one day return and set things right.

"One day He is going to wipe the slate clean and 'create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind,' (Isaiah 65:17). For those who have trusted His Son Jesus Christ by faith, there is an eternal future with Him to look forward to," Graham wrote.

Graham has been an outspoken advocate for Christians who are suffering genocide in the Middle East. He has also encouraged Christians in America to vote for a candidate who supports Biblical values and principles in the 2016 election as part of his Decision America Tour.

  • When I was worshipping, I felt peace in my mind. When I spoke in Tongues there were two angels. They prayed for me, and gave me a blessing. This was such a great experience.
  • When I was worshipping, my mind became light. I felt my sins were gone from me. When I sang a song my body became weightless.
  • This morning in my house the word of God came to me that, there will be a religious calamity in our nation especially in Tamil Nadu .It will go to the extent of bloodshed. And this God confirmed to me as I was worshipping from the audience side through verse 7 in the book of Amos chapter 3.This is a prophetic word and it will come to pass .Being cautioned let’s all go down on our knees and plead with God Almighty to be gracious on our nation.
  • When I was worshipping, the Lord said I will be with you and guide you to face the people you have to face. I will instruct you and guide you. Thank you Jesus for this words.
  • I experienced the glory of God, He wants us to prepare and receive his strength. I had a revelation to fast and pray for 21 days. Halleluiah!!!

On Blessing the LORD !! – Sis.Caroline

“Bless the LORD, O my soul—and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name.” Psalm 103:1

There’s nothing that makes Him happier than this.

Most of the time we talk about how the Lord has blessed us.  We share of his material, tangible blessings and thank Him for those times when He touched us in a special way.  And, there are other times when we were between a rock-and-a-hard place, not knowing what we were going to do—and, suddenly, He showed up, making a way where there seemed to be no way.

The question, then, is “How do we bless the Lord, Who holds everything that is in the hollow of His Hand?”

Though a seemingly difficult question, the answer is fairly simple:  by “loving Him with all our heart, mind and soul and our neighbor as ourselves” (Dt. 6:5; Mt. 22:37-39).

Think about it:

What blesses you as a parent—the gifts your children give you on special occasions or their willing obedience to you?  You already know the answer, don’t you?

It’s their ready obedience that’s given without complaint or constraint.  That’s what brings a smile to your face and fills your heart to overflowing with joy.

And, the same is true with God, the Father.

He LOVES it when we “serve Him with gladness, thanksgiving and praise in our hearts” (Ps. 100:2, 4).  This lets Him (and others) know that we do what we do with delight, not drudgery or disdain.  How it grieves Him when we profess to know Him but live with a downcast look or always murmuring and complaining like the Israelites did in the wilderness.

Yes, if we want to “Bless the LORD,” it has to be“with all that is within Me:” my heart, my mind, my dreams, my aspirations, my deepest desires, etc.  We can ill-afford to harbor resentment or unforgiveness within us—for those wound Him, not bless Him.

Therefore, today is the Day to “bless the LORD.”

Make that your #1 goal today and see if your day doesn’t go better.  To do this, strive to “forget not any of His benefits” (Ps. 103:2).  Remember how He has “forgiven all your iniquities and healed you of all your diseases” (v.3).  Tell others how He has “redeemed your life from destruction and crowned you with loving-kindness and tender Mercies” (v.4).  Praise Him aloud for “satisfying your mouth with good things” (v.5) and how He is “merciful, gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in Mercy” (v.8).

In so doing you’ll find yourself being renewed in both heart and mind—for praise and thanksgiving glorify the One by Whose Name you are called.  This will also draw others attention to Him, causing them to think how He is “very great and clothed with Honor and Majesty” (Ps. 104:1).

So, what are you waiting for?  It’s time to bless the Lord!  Why not start by shouting“Hallelujah!  Praise the LORD!” right now?  Glory!!  Amen and amen.

Work of Nicolaitans (Contd)

Lessons from the book of Judges — Did God tell men to rule over His people?

A certain verse from the book of Judges is one of the favorite verses that most churches use to promote their doctrine of a hierarchy in the church. I used to be sick of hearing this when I used to go to church. Judges 17:6 and Judges 21:25 states:

“In those days there was no sovereign (king) in Israel, everyone did what was right in his own eyes”.

The ministers in the church I used to go would use the above verses to say, see what happens when you don’t follow leaders appointed by God. You end up doing what is right in your eyes. You need to follow us and we will lead you to the right path.

Let us take a step back and pay more close attention to Judges 17:6 and 21:25. We all know that Israel had many kings and judges. Even though they had a king or a judge, they still did the wrong thing. Just because you have a king or a ruler, it does not mean you will do the right thing. The whole point is, at the end of the day, what you do in life determines whether you are with God or not and has nothing to do with whether there is a leader/ruler or not. We must follow God and not men. Man should be ruled by God and not by men.

Judges Chapter 2 tells us, when Joshua died and all the generations after him died (verse 8-10) the children of Israel did evil in the eyes of YHWH and served other gods and served Baal (verse 11).

Evangelist and church ministers want you to listen to them because if you don’t listen or are not a part of their group, then obviously there will be no money (under the banner of tithes/donations) coming into the religious system. If you are part of their system, then you will tell this to many people and bring more people into the system. So it is advantageous for them to say that God has appointed them and you need to follow them.

When we read Judges Chapter 2, we see that the children of Israel started worshiping false gods. Let us now read verses 13 to 19 and see how the story transpires:

“So they forsook YHWH and served Baal and the Ashtoreths” (v 13).

“And the displeasure of YHWH burned against Israel. Therefore He gave them into the hands of plunderers who despoiled them. And He sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, and they were unable to stand before their enemies any longer” (v 14).

“Wherever they went out, the hand of YHWH was against them for evil, as YHWH had spoken, and as YHWH had sworn to them. And they were distressed greatly” (v 15).

“Then YHWH raised up rulers who saved them from the hand of those who plundered them” (v 16).

“However, they did not listen to their rulers either, but went whoring after other mighty ones, and bowed down to them. They soon turned aside from the way in which their fathers walked, in obeying the commands of YHWH, they did not do so” (v 17).

“And when YHWH raised up rulers for them, YHWH was with the ruler and saved them from the hand of their enemies all the days of the ruler, for YHWH had compassion on their groaning because of those who oppressed them and crushed them” (v 18).

“And it came to be, when the ruler was dead, that they would turn back and do more corruptly than their fathers, to go after other mighty ones, to serve them and bow down to them. They did not refrain from their practices and from their stubborn way” (v 19).

Judges 2:13-19 shows us that even though YHWH raised rulers to save the children of Israel from their enemies, they still went back whoring after other gods. The whole point of Judges 2:13-19 is that, ruler or no ruler, at the end of the day it all depends on you. Your faithfulness to God is what matters at the end of the day. The other thing we find over here is that the role of the ruler was to save the children of Israel from their enemies as their enemies were ruthlessly crushing them. The ruler was not supposed to rule over them as we see in today’s modern-day churches, where ministers rule over its members.

In Judges Chapter 6 to 8, we further see the rise of a mighty brave man called Gideon. Here the children of Israel were given into the hands of the Midianites as they were worshipping false gods. God delivered the children of Israel from the Midianites through Gideon who was faithful to YHWH.

Here is the test of faithfulness (the choice we make in our life) that Gideon had. When Gideon delivered the children of Israel, they came to Gideon with a proposal that could make Gideon a great ruler. Let’s see what they offered to Gideon:

“So the men of Israel said to Gideon, ‘Rule over us, both you and your son, also your son’s son, for you have saved us from the hand of Midyan.’”

“But Gideon said to them, ‘I do not rule over you, nor does my son rule over you. YHWH does rule over you.’” (Judges 8:22-23)

We see from the above verses what Gideon said to them — you must allow YHWH to rule over you and not men. The primary lesson that we need to learn from the book of Judges is that we must allow YHWH to rule over us, and not men. We must also understand that it is not Elohim’s will for people to have rulers to rule over them. But it is the Israelites who demanded someone to be their ruler. All throughout the Tanakh we see, regardless of who ruled, the decision to follow God or the ways of men was the choice of every individual.
