ESHCOL NATIONAL HARVEST FESTIVAL 2007-2020

We are going to meditate on a particular portion of the ENHF Vision (Eshcol National Harvest Festival 2007-2020).

Gen 47:23-24 And Joseph said to the people, Behold, I have bought you this day, and your land, for Pharaoh. Lo, here is seed for you, and you shall sow the land. And it shall be, as you gather you shall give the fifth part to Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for those of your household, and for food for your little ones.

The ENHF Vision was based on Genesis 41-47 chapters. The Lord visited our nation India in 14 years (2007-2020). This had a great impact on the Church in India.

Before 2006, the Indian Church was self-centred, shrunk within itself like a snail, making no or little progress in missionary activities. The Lord’s visitation created an upside-down change in its mission and vision. Covid 2020 which was the culmination of the Lord’s visitation in India, proved that believers can very well exist and survive in this world without a building Church, without a Pastor with “Ordination” or without a cemetery to bury their dead. Believers themselves conducted the dedication ceremony of their children, baptism ceremonies, buried their dead, conducted worship services at homes and served Lord’s Supper.

Even though Covid 19 got over in 2021, due to the persecution that is going on in many States in India, the institutional Churches are still in crisis.

The Lord is teaching the global Church a lesson through the example of Joseph in Egypt.

All the land came under the authority of Pharaoh. Now using this opportunity Joseph reshuffled all the civil and agricultural laws which existed in Egypt.

This is the time when the Indian Church has to create the rules for the global Ecclesia.

Lo, here is seed for you, and you shall sow the land. And it shall be, as you gather you shall give the fifth part to Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for those of your household, and for food for your little ones. (Gen 47:23-24)

In Egypt all the previous system was gone. The land was vacant. Seeds were not available in the market. The only place where seed was available was Joseph’s storehouses.

He was willing to distribute the seed with conditions.

Hereafter 20% should go to Pharaoh’s treasury.

Out of the 80 percent which is left is for the Farmer.

1/4 – For seed of the field

1/4- For your food

1/4- For your household

1/4- For your little ones.

Genesis 47:23-24 - Application to the Church

The Institutionalized Church system became corrupt and had gone beyond correction. So, the Lord had to abolish it completely and bring back the original Church pattern. For the present generation it looks like a new system.

Luk 5:37-39 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. Else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskin will perish. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved together.

Also no one having drunk old wine immediately desires new, for he says, The old is better.

The new system which the Lord has introduced into His Church should be kept intact in the Troop Churches.

I had to go to Chhattisgarh for my brother Ganesh's wedding. I did not book the trip in advance. I travelled in the Unreserved Compartment. By the grace of God, it was not very crowded that day. Someone had taken up an entire seat and was sleeping without giving me any space. I went and prayed earnestly to God and came to the seat. Then T.T.R came there and said that we both should use that seat. So, God helped us both to share the entire seat equally. My journey was smooth. And after many months, God helped me to see my family and enjoy it. My children have grown up. They pray and speak the word. Glory to God. My brother's wedding was also held beautifully. God met our financial needs in a timely manner. Even when I returned, God's gracious hand was with me. I thank God for His wonderful works. I would like to thank everyone who sent me with love and prayers, as well as my colleagues at IWC.

FRP Level 1 in Hyderabad

In Hyderabad, the Lord did mighty things. After the ministry in Palavancha, Khammam, last year, Sol. Paul Hudson started a Troop Church. One of the members, Sol. David (who was engaged in a lot of ministries) organised this School of FRP in Hyderabad with the help of Sol. Paul Hudson, family and AOJ Telengana team. Sol. David was narrating his experiences in crossing many 'Everests' in this venture. First, the climate became a barrier. It is the rainy season here. A 'red alert' was declared and many programmes were cancelled. Thanks to the faith of AOJ Soldiers, they proceeded with the arrangements. They were looking for a place. Sol. David took Herculean efforts in finding one. He approached pastors. pastors declined. One specifically told, "We don't want Catholic nuns" to preach to us. Finally, He approached the Pastor of Aron Church, who obliged. He was the chosen one for this. I got some time to speak with this pastor personally. He is a banker, a retired Manager. After retirement, he started a Church in half of the portion of his rented house. (Asbestos-roofed). He offered this place (see the photos) and attended our programme fully. (Maybe to check the doctrinal content of our teaching) Any way he got convinced about our classes. First day, only 10-13members were there, including us. The pastor's son (a medical doctor) did all the technical work for us. The Lord prompted me to add a little testimony part of AOJ, too, before starting the first session. After attending the morning session, the pastor started inviting others. 2nd day, the participants increased to 30. A few pastors also came from distant places like Tenali. After attending Mother's "Tearing down stronghold" class, a Lutheran Pastor came forward and asked permission to speak for some time. He said, "I heard the truth proclaimed here in a powerful way with a marvellous testimony. I see a second Martin Luther (Sr. Leema Rose) here. In the 15th Century, the Lord raised Martin Luther to protest against the wrongs done by the Roman Catholic Church. Now in our period, the Lord has raised a second Martin Luther who proclaims and insists on the true teachings of the Bible. Let us thank the Lord for He is opening the eyes of the institutional Churches like Pentecostals and Protestants, to approve AOJ. The Lord God answered our prayers and stopped the rain during meetings. All glory to Him alone. Thus, in the midst of storms, rejections, and challenges, the Lord Himself glorified His name through the Forgiveness and Reconciliation Program in Hyderabad. What began in weakness and uncertainty ended with God’s confirmation, blessing, and the opening of doors even among denominational leaders.

Frp Level 1 in Royapuram

Forgiveness and Reconciliation Programme was conducted on August 15th and 17th, 2025, in Royapuram, Chennai. God made it an amazing experience and deliverance for all who have attended. God’s presence was there fully throughout the two days. Thanks to all for the support and prayers, and for the teachers who have come with dedication and Commitment in taking classes. Thank you, Jesus, for arranging this among all obstacles, but finally all have been broken. May this deliverance ministry journey continue and spread to various places through us, and let it continue in Jesus' name. All were strong RC people. God made to confess and made satan to bow down in two incidents, and they confessed that there was a special anointing in these classes.

5.2 EARTHQUAKE HITS AFGHANISTAN LESS THAN 48 HOURS AFTER 1,400 DIED IN QUAKE

The epicentre of the tremor was close to where a magnitude 6.0 earthquake hit late Sunday night, devastating remote areas in mountainous provinces near the border with Pakistan.

A fresh 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit the east of Afghanistan on Tuesday, jolting a region still struggling with the aftermath of a powerful quake at the weekend that killed 1,400 people.

The epicentre of the tremor was close to where a magnitude 6.0 earthquake hit late Sunday night, devastating remote areas in mountainous provinces near the border with Pakistan.

The "quake was felt in the same areas which were affected in Kunar (province) in the first earthquake," Ehsanullah Ehsan, the disaster management spokesman in the hard-hit province, told AFP.

"These aftershocks are constant, but they have not caused any casualties yet."

The quake was reported by the US Geological Survey late Tuesday.

The number of victims from Sunday's earthquake has mounted steadily, with 1,411 people dead and 3,124 injured in Kunar alone, chief Taliban government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said on Tuesday, making it one of the deadliest to hit the country in decades.

Another dozen people were killed and hundreds injured in neighbouring Nangarhar province.

Afghanistan is one of the poorest countries in the world, with dwindling aid since the Taliban seized power in 2021 undermining its ability to respond to disasters.

The devastation could affect "hundreds of thousands", said United Nations humanitarian coordinator for Afghanistan Indrika Ratwatte.

Rescuers searched through the night and all day for survivors in the rubble of homes flattened in Kunar, where more than 5,400 houses were destroyed, government spokesman Hamdullah Fitrat said on X.

Many of the worst-affected areas were still unreachable by road, but emergency facilities were being set up and multiple countries had announced they would provide aid, Fitrat said.

The European Union said it was sending 130 tonnes of emergency supplies and providing one million euros ($1.2 million) to help victims of the deadly quake.

The bloc has become one of the key aid donors to Afghanistan after the United States -- previously the country's largest aid provider -- cut all but a slice of its assistance after President Donald Trump took office in January.

The aid cuts risk impeding the response to the earthquake, sector experts told AFP, in a country already facing one of the world's worst humanitarian crises after decades of conflict.

"The scale of need far exceeds current resources," the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies said in a statement, noting that funding cuts had hit humanitarian air services, "limiting access to remote communities".

Emergency workers struggled to reach mountainous areas and villagers joined the rescue efforts, using their bare hands to clear debris from mud and stone homes built into steep valleys.

Obaidullah Stoman, 26, who travelled to the village of Wadir to search for a friend, was overwhelmed by the level of destruction.

"I'm searching here, but I didn't see him. It was very difficult for me to see the conditions here," he told AFP.

"There is only rubble left."

The dead, including children, were wrapped in white shrouds by villagers who prayed over their bodies before burying them.

- 'Whole house collapsed' -

The earthquake epicentre was about 27 kilometres (17 miles) from Jalalabad, according to the USGS, and struck just eight kilometres below the Earth's surface.

Such relatively shallow quakes can cause more damage, especially since the majority of Afghans live in mud-brick homes vulnerable to collapse.

Many of those living in the quake-hit villages were among the more than four million Afghans forced back to the country from Iran and Pakistan in recent years, many coming through the Torkham border crossing in Nangarhar province.

Rahmatullah Khaksar, who heads the emergency ward at a hospital in Jalalabad, Nangarhar's provincial capital, said they had received 600 injured since Sunday night.

"Most of the patients were trauma patients. They were hit on the head, back, abdomen and legs," he told AFP, adding they had cleared a ward for unidentified patients "so they will stay there until they find their families".

Afghanistan is frequently hit by earthquakes, especially in the Hindu Kush mountain range near the junction of the Eurasia and India tectonic plates.

Western Herat province was devastated in October 2023 by a 6.3-magnitude earthquake, which killed more than 1,500 people and damaged or destroyed more than 63,000 homes.

A 5.9-magnitude quake struck the eastern province of Paktika in June 2022, killing more than 1,000 people and leaving tens of thousands homeless.

As Nehemiah built the wall, the troop churches are building the dilapidated walls of the church here and there. God gave the command that the troops should be watered daily. We used to publish a book called 'Aniyosai' to pray for the troops. It was discontinued in 2015. Now these prayer notes are being added to the Kingdom Gazette. As given below, we will pray regularly for the troop churches.

We will pray for the troop churches that were started by those who participated in the early days of AOJ. The names of the troop churches that were started by ten people are given below. May they stand here and there and build the walls of India as Nehemiah built the walls. We will pray for 10 troop churches in a day with great intensity. We will pray for the unity of the 10 people in the troop church and for them to build with Jesus as the cornerstone.
