MESSAGE FOR REFLECTION

The Lord’s anger blazed forth against Israel. Why?

2Sa 24:1  Later, God's anger blazed forth against Israel, so he incited David to move against them by telling him, "Go take a census of Israel and Judah." 

Again, the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel, He moved David against them to say “Go number Israel and Judah” (NKJV)

2Sa 24:2  So the king ordered Joab, commander of the special forces, who was with him, "Go throughout the tribes of Israel from Dan to Beer-sheba and take a census of the people so I can be made aware of the total number." 

2Sa 24:3  But Joab replied, "May the LORD your God increase the population of the people a hundredfold while your majesty the king is still alive to see it happen! But why does your majesty the king want to do this?" 

2Sa 24:4 But the king's order overruled Joab and the commanders of the special forces, so Joab and the commanders of the special forces left David's presence to take a census of the people of Israel. 

David, after completing all the work, feels complacent. Complacency is self-satisfaction, gratification, and self-righteousness.

Let’s read 2 Sam 23:1-5

2 Sa 23:1  This was David's last composition: The oracle of David, son of Jesse, an oracle by the valiant one who was exalted—anointed by the God of Jacob, the contented psalm writer of Israel. 

2 Sa 23:2  The Spirit of the LORD speaks within me; his word is on my tongue! 

2 Sa 23:3  The God of Israel has spoken; the Rock of Israel has talked to me. "When one is governing men justly, he fears God while governing. 

2 Sa 23:4  He is like dawn's first light, like bright sun blazing on a cloudless morning, glistening on grassland that flourishes after a rain shower. 

2 Sa 23:5 Is not my dynasty like this with God? Has he not made an eternal covenant with me, preparing every detail of it? And he has made it secure, including my complete salvation, has he not? He has been of continual help, has he not, even with the parts he has not yet brought about? 

2Sa 23:6 But ungodly men are like thorns that are discarded because they cannot be safely handled. 

2Sa 23:7 Whoever handles them wears heavy duty clothing, carries strong tools, and burns them to ashes on the spot!

2 Sa 23:5 Is not my dynasty like this with God? Has he not made an eternal covenant with me, preparing every detail of it? And he has made it secure, including my complete salvation, has he not? He has been of continual help, has he not, even with the parts he has not yet brought about? 

When a person feels content, complacent, it is a sign of danger. The original Church, which was persecuted, vibrant, lively, which was a catalyst, entered into a state of complacency in 313 A.D. when the Roman Empire adopted Christianity. It took a lot of effort and time for the Holy Spirit to raise a man who would stand for revival, who is bold enough to question all the atrocities committed in the Roman Catholic Church. Martin Luther paved the way for Protestantism in the Church.

But the Protestant Church, started by Martin Luther in 1517, also turned complacent, and it reached its peak by 1900, about 400 years after its founding. The Lord has to resort to some other measures for revival. The result was the Pentecostal movement. The Pentecostal Church, which was founded in 1906 by the Azusa revival, ended up in the same complacency within 100 years of its foundation. Now the Lord is taking back the Church to its original roots (Acts 2:41-47). So, we can believe this to be the final reformation.

BE FORMED AND FORM (BFF)

AOJ teachers are the mouthpiece of God's word. BFF teachers fellowship was conducted in Royapettah, Chennai, on 22nd November from 10 am to 5:00 pm.

TROOP CHURCH

Ephraim troop church is conducted in Madhavaram, Tamil Nadu, on every Sunday from 3 to 5 pm.

FELLOWSHIP MEETING

Fellowship meeting was conducted in Kolkata, West Bengal.

TESTIMONY

He answers every prayer. Our SMLA Brother Daniel made a comment that when he went to give his child the TT injection, he was told that the "vaccine" had not yet arrived at the hospital. He said to pray for this during the Dindigul prayer meeting. The day after praying, I went to work at my school. Another teacher working at my school called me and said that some arrangements have been made for the vaccination tomorrow, so you should inform your children about it. God is doing great things. We prayed and the Lord has answered us. May the name of the Lord be glorified. I also like to share another testimony. By chance I heard about an accident on TV in which school children and teachers were killed. It was said that this accident happened because someone driving their car recklessly. When, I heard this matter, I felt the pain. I told this as a prayer request in Dindigul SMLA prayer meet. As a proof that the Lord heard this prayer, some teachers working with SMLA Sol.Amala Jasmine in Dindigul use to come to the school from a far off place. One day, while they were coming in their car, an auto hit them but no damage happened to the teachers. Rather, the auto driver who came in the opposite direction was injured but these teachers were not harmed. Through this matter, I learned how the Lord fulfils the things we pray for and the words of our tongue matters. May the name of the Lord be glorified.

COVENANT RENEWAL FELLOWSHIP CELEBRATION (CRFC)

CRFC in Rajgangpur (Jharberna), Odisha was conducted on 28th October 2025 by the grace of God.

CRFC conducted in Chaibasa, Jharkhand on 30th October 2025. There was a gathering in Dumka and Ranchi.

CUBS OF JUDAH

On the 2nd of October 2025 Cubs of Judah meeting was conducted for Deborahs in Nagamangalam village and taught them “TEN COMMANDMENTS”. The Trichy team with SMP and SMLAs took classes for 40 girls. Food was served to the tribal children, who would get only one meal a day. They gave their lives to Jesus and became a NEW CREATION. Decided to obey the commandments of the Lord.

CIVIL TESTIMONIES

In Tamil Nadu Shadow Parli made an appeal to the Heavenly Court on 27th September 2025 at Yelagiri. Judgment came from heaven and implemented within 7 days by the Central Govt of India. The Central minister has sternly refused to release this fund for TN. The TN SMPs and SMLAs made heaven to interfere in this and has proved that everything is possible. All glory to God

The Central Government has released ₹700 crore in funds for Tamil Nadu, specifically for the Right to Education (RTE) Act admissions. This development comes after a prolonged battle between the state and central governments over fund disbursement.

Key Highlights:
  • Fund Allocation: The Centre will release the funds in two tranches, with ₹362 crore allocated for 2024-25 and ₹352 crore for 2025-26.
  • RTE Admissions: The Tamil Nadu government will conduct RTE admissions for the academic year 2025-26, with a 10-day online admission window starting from October 6.
  • Eligibility: Priority will be given to orphans, HIV-affected children, transgender children, children of scavengers, and differently-abled children.
  • Reimbursement: The funds will be used to reimburse tuition fees for students enrolled in private schools under the RTE Act.

The release of funds follows a Supreme Court order and a Madras High Court directive to delink RTE reimbursements from the Samagra Shiksha Scheme. The Tamil Nadu government had withheld cooperation due to disagreements over the National Education Policy 2020 and PM SHRI Schools initiative.

“SUDAN IS THE WORLD’S LARGEST HUMANITARIAN CRISIS - AND CHILDREN ARE PAYING THE HIGHEST PRICE”

This is a summary of what was said by UNICEF Deputy Executive Director Ted Chaiban – to whom quoted text may be attributed - at today's press briefing

"Thank you for joining us.  I speak to you a day after leaving Darfur, following a mission that also took me to Khartoum.

"What I saw was alarming. Sudan is the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. The conflict is escalating, and children are paying the highest price.

"Every day, violence is tearing communities apart. In Jebel Marrah, I spoke to women with their children fleeing the siege in Al Fasher, getting through a gauntlet of armed checkpoints and stripped of all their belongings and money, harassed and attacked, shattered and left with nothing.

"I heard harrowing accounts of families who had gone hungry for days.

"In Darfur and the Kordofans, severe acute malnutrition is soaring. 1.4 million children live in areas of famine or at risk of famine. Thousands will die without urgent treatment. In North Darfur alone this year, 150,000 children are likely to suffer severe acute malnutrition, the deadliest form.  In Tawila, cases have surged from hundreds to over 2,000 a month since April. Tawila being the main place that people fleeing Al Fasher have gathered.

"Parents told me their children have not seen a classroom for years. This is the reality for millions. A staggering 14 million children are out of school – 4 out of every 5 children in Sudan -an entire generation lost without learning.

"Disease is everywhere. Cholera, diphtheria, malaria, and dengue are all claiming young lives as health systems collapse.

"Violence robs children of safety. At least 350 grave violations, including killing and maiming, were verified in North Darfur in just six months.

"And we have to remember that Al Fasher is a city that has been under siege for more than sixteen months. 130,000 children are trapped, cut off from food, water, and healthcare. No safe way in or out.

"Amid the devastation that I witnessed, I also saw resilience. Communities repairing schools so their children could resume their education. In a child-friendly space, children laughed and played. They drew homes they have lost and dreams for the future.

"I met UNICEF staff, UN colleagues and our partners, including frontline health workers who, despite unimaginable challenges, delivered oral cholera vaccines and bed nets to 8 million people to fight cholera and malaria, treated more than a quarter of a million children against severe acute malnutrition and repaired and installed water systems so 11 million people have water, including returnees.

"But urgent needs grow every day, and what Sudan needs is unfettered access, funding and a political way forward to end the conflict."
